Okay here’s my take.I think Needy is bisexual but Jennifer is straight up lesbian.She likes men in what they can offer,even before becoming a succubus she had a low opinion of men. But a high opinion of Needy,she’s like a controlling boyfriend in that she wants her all to herself and hates Chip for that reason. I also think that’s why he became her final victim,to prove to Needy how useless men can be and to get any kind of reaction from the object of her feelings. Needy loved both Chip and Jen but in the end Chip proved to be endgame and after that there was no getting Needy to see how Jennifer feels.The ripping off of the BFF necklace is important because Needy was the one person Jennifer loved and valued and knowing she lost that person wholly made Jen let go. I think Jen was fine with Needy being the one to kill her because she always loved her and hid it to the point of repressing it. Afraid those feelings will never be fully returned. So dying was fine with Jen because Needy was there.
It's so sad and beautiful so I almost started crying. Damn. By the way I think you're right and the writers really did mean it. Jen is such a complex and complicated character, but I'm afraid most people didn't see it bc her personality was in the huge shadow of her actions as a succubus 😔
protective. Agreed honestly watching Jen and Needy together you see that Needy loves Jen and Chip. But it was a coin toss and if Jen ever decided on making a hardcore move on Needy than Chip would be gone. I think Jen was shadowed by her succubus actions. I cried to!!!
Thank you entirely for uploading this video! I always wished this movie was written to be more serious because the relationship between Jeniffer and Needy really pulled me in. This could have been a great movie without all the silliness. This video is beautiful though❤
