After downsizing, lost husband, elected to rent a two bedroom apartment. Converted master bedroom into quilt room. Totally agree, one needs a place just for one’s creative outlet.
I absolutely love this video. It makes me very jealous 😂. But she gave me some idea’s. Thank you, rob. I just love seeing others sewing rooms. Keep up the good work.
Rob, thank you so much for doing this. I am inspired to take the time to “claim my space” as Alex has done so well. I just love her enthusiasm and creative talents as I do your adventurous spirit. Lighting is so important to your work space especially if you can claim a spot with natural light. I wish I could do a skylight but unfortunately my circumstances do not allow for structure changes in a co op environment. I am blessed with great natural light in my large living/dining area. With this video you have created with Alex I now have the courage to claim this space for my creativity cove. Much love to you both for what you bring to the quilting world. Tell Alex that creative minds are rarely tidy. I stitched a sign that displayed that verse years ago that hung in my first little cubby of delight. I start out organized and wind up swirling with colorful moments of joy. That IS what artistic flair is all about. You need to let your mind wander from place to place so you can spark your own light into the world to share.💕🙏🦋🌟🪡🧵🍀
I currently use an upstairs spare room as my studio and it’s getting cramped. This so inspired me to get rid of the dinning room and living room furniture and turn those two rooms into one big studio.
OH... THE LIGHTING IS MAGNIFICENT!!! THANKS ROB AND ALEX, THOROUGHLY ENJOYED WATCHING THIS!!
Gracias Rob 👏🏼👍 Beautiful space Alex for a Beautiful n Smart Lady 🥰👍👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼🥳💕

Very nice.
Great sewing room
My entire home is 980 sq feet. My second bedroom is my studio. End of last year I gave the bed away and crested a perfect workspace.

Love your space! It's funny that no matter how old we are, we do not want to disappoint/hurt our daddy ♥
