That’s some impressive work, especially for one man. I really like how you graded forward, backward and side to side that does a great job of getting rid of dips. When you’re track or rolling it’s best to keep your bucket full to increase the weight/compaction. You can also tire roll with a loaded dump truck to get really good compaction. We did that to the base when we were paving a fire station parking lot a few years, it worked great. Great job.
Hi brandon...what a fantastic job you are doing with crushed rock spreading. I am glad to see more of your skid steer action Keep up the good work thanks
I just used Propex 200 and 315 on a soft area, you can't beat it for stabilization and keeping the dirt from pumping up into the base, def. cheaper than more base material.
Joe Hussey that is very true. The old timers I was dealing with at this place didn’t agree they wanted bigger stone 🤷🏼♂️. Sometimes you just have to go with it
Most folks watching this video probably don’t realize that the rocky soil you were scratching up is really S/W MO top soil! The workmanship and video presentation were MOST excellent!
Thanks for putting this together! It’s super helpful to see your approach and how your progress through the job. For someone like me, with a skid steer but without experience, it’s great!!
Very nice - 145 tons of stone disappeared pretty fast! As you were talking about them wanting the rest of the parking lot done, I was thinking that now that this new part looked so much nicer, it makes the original part look kind of poor. Glad you'll be able to clean all of it up and make it uniform. At first I was thinking about that mountain that Tr-County was moving the other day - thankfully, yours was smaller, but it's amazing how much dirt there is in these little banks.
Dale Premo thank you! Yes it was a lot of rock. I was surprised too how much dirt came out of that hill. Lol I thought the same thing on the rest of the lot. Thanks again
That was a nice job beats water and sewer installs. It seems as though you sent us the rain you guys had, we had seven inches since Friday. Looking foreward to more videos
BurningDinosaurs thank you! Lol did you give up on mowing 🤣. Appreciate you watching! Hoping to get caught up on yours this weekend, things have just been crazy!
Looking nice! Sure hope nobody drives off the back of parking lot in the dark!😯 You have been putting some extra effort into all the camera views this week. Thanks
Wayne Tharp thank you! Yeah I told them they better put something back there. Lol I’ve been trying some more angles, as always I appreciate you watching!
Nice lift work, gonna give Tim a run for his money if Letsdig18 has a competition party and builds a pasture ramp. LOL Great they want to dress up the rest too.
They need to put some curb stones along the back it will define it more and stop vehicles from driving on to the spill way, nice job though, it will look better with the rest done.
I’m doing a parking lot in the next month or two and the plan is fabric, about 4” of #1/2 limestone (softball sized), then 2-4” of asphalt millings to top it off. Should be pretty solid for a heavy equipment lot, what do you think?
For whatever it’s worth after 35 years of owning a paving business, this is the best way I’ve found to bid any kind of job: 1: Calculate your total cost. 2: Calculate how long the job will take you to complete. 3: Decide how much money your time is worth, add that to your job cost and that number is your estimate. If you’re unsure about anything always err in your favor.
That can be tough. It’s best if you can get the water to run around the rock or at least put a crown on the rock. No permit job most of the jobs I get don’t require a permit
So i click on 'Building a Parking Lot' and i get a microscopic look at some dudes face, then the back of his head. He almost does videos like Andrew Camarata and i almost subscribed.
Love the parking lot build, gravel spread, grading of ground.... Just great content!
Thank you! Thanks for watching too

Great looking parking area and nice clean rock!
You've got a smooth operator's touch!

You really rocked out with your.... well you know 😉😁
Cool chick! Have I said you're a lucky man lately?!
Mrs. Elite Earthworks 🤣🤣 good one
Andy Perrine yes she is and yes I’m very lucky!
Elite Earthworks LLC yes, yes you are 😘😁

Nice job, love watching the skid steers in action, can't wait to start testing mine out.
Mini Machines thank you! You can do a lot with them!
Great camera view with the gravel!
Thanks!
14:00 looks so smooth!!! two type of gravel, i never see that before
Adrian thanks! Yeah I’ve done it a few times that bigger stuff makes a good sub base. Works pretty well you lose a little bit of the small rock in it.
Jump the Dunkey??? I love it!! 😂😂😂
misterb1080 lol I can’t talk sometimes!
You could get arrested for that lol. 🇬🇧
😂😂😂
Big Ben lol good point, but what if it’s your donkey? 🤣

Great work Brandon and a great video to go with it!
2 thumbs up buddy, work safe.
Doug@ the "ranch"
lakesideranch thanks man! I appreciate it!
Came out great. Once they saw the finished section you did, it made the rest of the parking lot look like crap. You do excellent work.
Brian thank you! Lol yeah that’s pretty much how it went. Thanks again
@@eliteearthworksllc and what after a rainy week ?!
Alain Floch what do you mean?
@@eliteearthworksllc how will be the look after much rain ?
Alain Floch it’s held up great so far got 6” of rain on it last week and 4” inches last night. So far so good
I always figured the fabric was the same as 6” of #3 stone,
Looking good 👍
trickmytractor that’s true, the old timers there didn’t like the fabric idea, I wasn’t going to argue with them lol.
Nice working 👍
Iwan Deegenaars thank you!
Came out great! Man, I'd love about 65 ton of rock for my yard! Thanks for the video!
BurningDinosaurs thank you! Lol did you give up on mowing 🤣. Appreciate you watching! Hoping to get caught up on yours this weekend, things have just been crazy!
@@eliteearthworksllc I'd gladly give up on mowing for all the parking space lol!

Nice job👍
Randall Robison thank you!

Nice video 👍🤙🏼👍

I think they are going to want you to put down some painted parking lot lines next. It looks great.
walter mattson lol probably so, thank you!
You have done a amazing job Building A parking 🅿️ Lot I love ❤️ your video 📷 the are amazing I can't wait for the next video 📷 #EliteEarthworks
Thanks appreciate you watching and commenting as always

Jane Tolch yes I think they are planning on something along that edge. Thanks again
Nice work again Brandon, just had to have the rain shower. Our mud is getting dehydrated.
Dirt E Diggin thank you! Yeah no kidding so sick of the rain
Looks good man I love doing lots like this one
John Teel thanks! I really enjoy these projects too
Awesome job as always, more work to come is always a good thing.
S.O.T. Metalworks thank you sir! Yes that is a good thing

David Travis thank you! I appreciate that! Yes it does take time, I’ve done it for almost 20 years you’ll get the hang of it 👍🏻
Elite Earthworks LLC man that’s a good bit of time and a lot of seat time
Hi brandon good job
jim moser thank you!
very nice
Thanks man!
I'm doing this to but I thought you would need put down red rock first for a base. Maybe not
Sometimes you do but we have so much rock in our ground we don’t always need too
@@eliteearthworksllc thanks quick reply
Why no Geo fabric before placing the rocks?
Cause we have a very hard rocky clay here and the geo fabric isn’t necessary
I’m doing a parking lot in the next month or two and the plan is fabric, about 4” of #1/2 limestone (softball sized), then 2-4” of asphalt millings to top it off. Should be pretty solid for a heavy equipment lot, what do you think?
Nice oh yeah that will definitely be a solid lot even better than this one.
Great job. The only problem I see is the music is not loud enough 🤣. Keep up the good work.
mike manfred thank you! I agree I try to tone it down a bit for some but it really needs cranked up!
How did you quote a job like that? I'm assuming the "old timers" had a hook up on rock and delivery and purchased it themselves?
I did it by the job. I think one of the members works at the quarry or knows someone. Yes they purchased all the materials
For whatever it’s worth after 35 years of owning a paving business, this is the best way I’ve found to bid any kind of job:
1: Calculate your total cost.
2: Calculate how long the job will take you to complete.

If you’re unsure about anything always err in your favor.
How do you mark your parking lines?
I think they placed bumpers I’m not sure
Any tips on how to prevent stone from washing out?
Also, I don't see any silt fence so I'm assuming this was a no permit job?
That can be tough. It’s best if you can get the water to run around the rock or at least put a crown on the rock. No permit job most of the jobs I get don’t require a permit
This video made me sub!
Thank you! I appreciate that
No problem I’ll always be a big fan!
A little 60 horse tractor with box blade would help out
That would work too
WooT !!!%
fast last thank you!
Run into that every day, they are paying the bill💰
trickmytractor that’s right got to do what they want
Looks good! Do I see a dozer in your future? 👁️
Tri-County Masonry & Excavating 'Dirt Boss' I think I see a roller compactor in the future haha
Tri-County Masonry & Excavating 'Dirt Boss' thank you! Possibly 😁
BikerFail16 yes one of those too!
I see MsEliteEarthworks hiding the checkbook and his credit cards, now and for the future.
Holy shit when is the new machine coming??
Boitano Excavation 🤣 your guess is as good as mine! Hopefully in a week is what I keep hearing
What is your rate?
Brad Gillock $100 an hour. This was a bid job I believe
Oh I sooo wanna see that video when you jump the donkey, lol
Silent Epsilon lol maybe the next video. 🤣 have to see if JasonWorksAlot has a donkey 🤔🤣
@@eliteearthworksllc ... I am sure he does, but if not, then I guarantee you he has a costume he can wear ;)

Hey I almost called to see if you’d do a couple driveways for me, but then I saw you only had 6,000 subs.. I only hire people that have over 100,000.
E.L. Construction lol I figured a high roller like you would only hire someone with 228,000 subs 😉🤣
That isn’t how dirt perfect would have done it just saying mr Elite but it will work 😂
Bryon 6180 lol that is true but it Dirt Perfect approved 👍🏻
Bryon 6180 yes, Brandon managed to not knock any vehicles or equipment over on their side 😂
No truck was stuck in a ditch in the making of this video.. unlike Mr. Stuck in the ditch Perfect.😁
