Thanks for fixing my train. Also the dials were not connected and the doors didn't open because after I couldn't get the engines working I never finished the rest of it.
Better late than never: If you can't fix a problem, take some time off! Thats very important because you get some form of 'frustration-blindness' where you turn blind for problems very visible. After a good night's sleep turn back to your creation and work methodically and 'explain it to an invisible entity' which is called "rubber ducking" a term used in programming. When I am having issues I tell a 'rubber duck' how the code should work and always figure the problems out exactly while I am explaining. Stay crunchy.
Thanks for fixing my Vtol MrNJersey, I appreciate that you fixed it and I'm now completing it! I know you didn't put it in a video but I'm grateful either way, it works like a charm now.
it's amazing how simple you make it seem *this submarine acts like a plane for no reason* NJ: well you see it's quite simple you need to remove the monitor from the engine room and replace it with paint blocks and you need to paint a nice lovely portrait of your favourite location and Voila it works perfectly now
It may be just me, because I tend to build things bigger than I need to or intended to, but I've never experienced a "power gain" by raising the engine RPS. The only thing it's ever done for me is made killing it in high gear a lot easier and blow up my engines a lot faster. I've had a lot better luck dropping the RPS down for efficiency because I've inversely never experienced a noticeable power loss from dropping the engine RPS down to 12 or so. But it depends on the creation and movement type (ground, air, or water).
@@steeljawX 20 rps on engine with 1:1 ratio to prop will have the same torque. 10 rps with 1:2 ratio will have 20 rps on prop and half the torque. So, I think a higher rps is a good idea. But there also is a fine balance between them and I always spend some time tweaking mainly the gearing and secundary the engine rps in order to have great speed with low fuel consumption.
Actually just because the symmetric plane is all over the place, doesn't necessary mean the author didn't use it. I have a one or two creation where my symmetric settings are always overwritten and it resets the settings to random locations on loading/reloading the creation! It's a strange issue and I dunno how it happens, or fix it.
I've experienced it when A) I've moved the creation off center in the build area, like left or right. Up, down, back, and forth don't seem to matter. And when B) I've added something from another creation onto the one I'm working on. It's like it tries to either take the center symmetry of the imported asset or tries to take the average of your creation and the imported asset. But that tends to be the variables for that happening on my builds.
I was wondering about the first creation you fixed. Jersey you added a rudder to the back to stabilize it but I don't understand why it fixed it. How come the boat became staple after adding the tilt sensor along with the function block to drive the rudder?
Well there was a tilt sensor in the front sending information to the function block which told the rudders to point ether up or down depending on the tilt! A little late. Lol
Psst. Hey! Psst! If you build a custom tank for your coolant system your engines will never overheat. (Just make sure to add a system to get water to it if you play limited fuel.)
I need to figure out how to make the large boat I just made FASTER. It goes really slow, even with a medium engine maxed out with power and RPS. It has only 13K mass.
I was wonder if one day u could do a tutorial on propelling ships with say above 50,000 mass (it tells u the mass when u click to spawn it in now) I'm having issues not being able to get my tanker I'm building above 2m/s.
Hello mrnjersey i have a v-22 osprey and i tried to get the vtol working but it i cant get it to work..... it doesnt have interior yet because i tried to fix the vtol problem. My question is: is it a problem if it doesnt have a interior yet, if i would submit it?
I'd only suggest give it enough interior to allow for testing. The whole thing doesn't need to be done up. But you know, switches, dials, buttons, and seats will be required.
Can anyone explain why the full block pipes? Isn't it easier to use normal pipes so you can see them properly in the editor and are lighter? Hulls and bulkhead lines excepting of course. Just seems really weird to me 😅
''fixing your creations'' and here i am, i just made a 10x10 plate with a propeller than sometimes goes underwater, sometimes flies away, and sometimes goes on land xD not even advanced mode
can you fix my ss ocean not on the workshop yet cuz she like to sink to the bottom i have to give credit due to its jank star lines's build he never finished
I feel like this series is just you frowning upon lesser creators with silly mistakes. I don't think people should be submitting the builds like the train (2nd creation) because they didn't check everything.
Well the point of the series is too help other players and let learn from some of my building tips and how i would solve and deal with issues. I cant control the creations that are submitted and I cant look at them first to see whats wrong and then look at them again during a video otherwise I would be here forever, Currently these videos take about 3-5 hours from picking the creations out of the 100s that are submited to find the ones that actually have issues compared to the ones just submitted to be on a video, and the rest is recording editing etc. Hope you understand
@@grahamr2809 I'm not sure that's plausible for NJersey, seeing how he's just 1 content creator for the game. He's based on the EU servers and anyone not on the EU servers would experience severe lag even on his designated server. I also feel like part of the spirit of this series has to do with dusting off those old forgotten builds that are abandoned because of these silly mistakes. Some may be sending in their current pet project, but it's kind of all in the same lane of getting a second pair of eyes to look over it. It's also better, in my opinion, to have him diagnose and remedy issues while segregated from the original creators. Like I'm sure the creator of that last ship would have rattled on about how they intended to do this, that, and everything in between; and also would have objected to a lot of his help since it wasn't "clean" or messed with the original design. Sometimes we have to let our "babies" get destroyed in order for them to be fixed. But a lot of the time, we're too attached to allow it to happen. I'm also not interpreting his tone to be a demeaning one. He's a lot more professional than I could ever be because I know I was getting annoyed a little by some of the small things needed to fix these issues. But he addressed them with a more civil tone in my opinion. I dunno, I'm just saying I'm not catching the same atmosphere or tone you're getting and that individual help sessions wouldn't be very plausible for one person to handle.
Hi MrNJersey, could you please try to fix my Creation ? Its a Quadtrac Case IH and it has some Battery/Engine Problems. You can find it on @Gordon_NotRamsay on Steam

Hahaha lol
I like the submarine joke
Incredible series! Im going to submit mine soon! :)
Thank you thank you thank you. you fixing the boat really helped me on mine please keep making these videos on fixing creations
I find it really calming to hear you talk as I work on stormworks or any projects really
Thanks for Fixing my helicopter!
your a really good creator and I use your tutorials for a lot of my builds. Thanks!
The stability bit of the boat really helped, I can now make way better stable boats
this is a true gamechanger!
Yep staying safe
Yeah! MrNJ!!!!!! Stay safe too
Best UA-camr
ever! Love your videos! :D
“Or it can become a submarine”
It's hilarious that a good chunk of that third fix was you figuring out that the buoyancy issue was the weight blocks you added lol
Well it looked like there were none, hence why I added some.
Well done, Jersey
YES! another one!
Wow another amazing operation by doctor Jersey
thanks for making these it also helps improve on my builds
RPS can be 20 and still be safe and temperature below 110 is safe. 120 temp is when overheating starts

Why not a 1st ever creation episode, we send in our 1st ever creation we made and you rate it
I made a box. . . .😋😶
i made a small jet with jet engines that took about.... 4hours to build
More pls!!
I tried to make a creation but then I forgot about it lol, stay safe!
what are the build controls because i only know how to pan camara and its very difficult
rip ocean cooling, you will be missed.
The Helicopter is on German 😂
I use sea water cooling on my sea creations as it is easy to do.
Psst. Hey! Psst! If you build a custom tank for your coolant system your engines will never overheat. (Just make sure to add a system to get water to it if you play limited fuel.)
I'm guessing the coolant trick no longer works since it's divided between fresh water / salt water now.
E01 was cool, let’s see about this one
Why won't you give workshop links in description
Because links are already in discord

moar powah
nucular reactor/steam engine should be fine
i mean i got my 10k mass tank to go at 90 kmph with a 9 cylinder modular engine
Please set up a priv discord where we can upload our stuff and suggest videos. That would be sick
He has a dc server with these features

Why are there 7 copies of the first episode and 2 of this episode in the playlist?
Shouldn't the stability system take care of the off-centered mass issue?
Yah
Could u fix a bit more advanced vehicles? This seems very much like a series for beginner builders.
Yah, they need to be submitted

My car is Always overheating, and when I finally fix it, the Motor just randomly breaks .Like after 40 seconds
Hallo Andreas
How do I share them to you?
I need to fix my boat too its just over heating the whole time...
and the fuel is diying the whole time
and the eletrical is diying too the whole time
Can u use jet fuel in a engine
No, it is for jets only. Thats why it is called jet fuel
At 15:32 uou can see it is no sealed

i wonder why dont you have 100k subs or more
