Ebina is a nice girl and I think her crush is adorable, but I just don't ship her with Taihei. A big reason is their age. I get that Japan is different, but I'm just not into shipping grown adults with high school girls. Kanau (despite being his boss) is more of his peer than Ebina. She's also nice, smart pretty and successful. Plus them getting together would give Hikari the big brother she wants.
