I am enjoyed this mod in the game. Respect and thanks to you for all the effort. I do intend to find more of your work and cover it in my let's plays. I hope you would consider making a Class 319 or a Class 60 in the future because your work and talents are superb or at least in my opinion.
Loved this video - I have a few train assets for the game Cities Skylines - but recently thought they would do great in Transport Fever 2. My journey begins!
Good question. I started out by modifying existing models from the game, and slowly building up the confidence to make my own. I am mostly self taught, with a few tutorials here and there for specific things like AO baking. I would say a fantastic way to start would be to pick your favourite train and just give it a go! Don't go for high detail straight away, try a low poly representation. As you learn how to navigate and use Blender, your skills and confidence will increase. As someone said to me, "Its just lines and squares". My best advice is to just go for it, and don't be afraid to fail or have it look bad. Everyone's fist 3D models look bad. Plus side is, you will only improve 😀
Hi, all the music in this (and all) my videos are made by me. You can find most of the tracks uploaded on my music channel here: ua-cam.com/channels/Glumu9s1glPS4Db761kxCA.htmlvideos I am a huge fan of OMD and they are great fun to sample.
@@SteveEmfore Great taste in music. I like OMD. Also great you use your own music for your video's. That sample from "Almost" put a smile on my face. Thank you for your fast reply.
For the 3D modelling I use Blender 2.78 The model is viewed and modified in UG's Model Viewer app Texturing done in Paint.NET Code editor is NotePad++ Hope this covers all of them 🙂
@@downundertransportation1273 I'm not sure what you mean. These are applications available to all and used by many. I'm sure you can draw your own conclusions.
I can't even begin to imagine the patience needed to do 3D modelling - well done!
the 3d model isnt the hard part once you get the hang of it, the coding is.

Is there a way to get downloaded workshop content into blender, without needing 3DSmax stuff?
Thats a lot of work
How would you recommend getting started designing trains in blender for someone new to it?
