Gem Lakes Canada / Sony a7III / Phantom 4 pro and Go pro testing

Gem Lakes:
One of Saskatchewan's best and most interesting trails is the Gem Lakes hike at Narrow Hills Provincial Park. This 5.5 kilometre trail that intertwines itself with the Gem Lakes is a must visit for any hiker in the province.
The Gem Lakes were formed during the last ice age where they were carved about by glaciers. Each lake is cut off from the other and no rivers run into them. Water in the lakes only arrives from rainfall from the surrounding hills. There is no current that runs through the lakes, which makes them perfectly clear and gives them their distinct colour that sparkles in the sun.
There are 7 Gem Lakes, that the trail takes you along.

Hey, good video! I have been trying to do research on camping in the area of Gem Lakes. Did you book in advance for your camping site? How likely is it to get a camping site?

Hi Sarah, this place is wonderful but it's being kept like a secret as there's no much info about it, there's actually no road signaling guiding towards Gem lakes on the way there, We tried booking in advance with no success, there's no contact info about this particular place, it is located within the Narrow Hills Provincial park in Saskatchewan, you would need to get a park entry permit in a gas station located about 30km or so from the camping area, there's not too many camping spots available and depending on the time of the year they might be pretty busy specially on weekends. Therefore I would recommend you to just drive there, like we did, preferably before the weekend in order to get a nice spot. We liked the ones close to the parking lot. Enjoy and good Luck!!!
