    Lovely video. I can’t get infinity focus to work. I have metabones speedboster on bmpcc 4k. Did you face the issue?

      Try increasing or decreasing the distance between the lens and the sensor by screwing or releasing a bit the lens from the M43 adapter and then maybe tape it in that position, just be careful not to loose the lens to much as to drop it. But the best way to achieve infinite focus would be by screwing in or out the ring inside of the speed booster itself. There's a few YT tutorials about that specific topic, just search for:
      "Infinite focus with Metabones speedbooster".

    Great video! At what frame rate did you film to achieve this slow-mo effect ? Thank you

      Hi Maestro, thaks for the appreciation!
      A few shots of this video were shot at 60 frames per second and converted to 24 frames per second, the BMPCC4K can do this internally, it's called Off-speed frame rate and it's great in some situations where you prefer to shoot the slow motion internally and save some time in post.

    Do you have any issues with your aperture ring? Mine doesn't seem to work with my Minolta lenses on my speed booster.

    Hi, did you use an ND filter? If you did, how did you managed to screw it on?

    • @Kinoptico
      @Kinoptico  2 роки тому +1

      Hi, yes I did use a Variable ND filter. it depends on the Size of your ND Filters, most of my ND filters are 77mm, the helios lens is 49mm, I just used a step up adapter ring from 49mm directly to 77mm. Use an adapter according to the Diameter of the ND filter you own.
      Let me know if you have any other questions.
      Here is the Link to the exact same adapter I used:
      amzn.to/2WABtZQ
      And here is the Variable ND I used: (please note that the version I used is the 77mm and the one shown on this link is the 82mm which in most case is more convenient as it covers a wider range of lenses):
      amzn.to/3A1Flk3
      If you have an 82mm ND or are planning to get one, make sure you get the right adapter which is the 49mm to 82mm here is the link to that one:
      amzn.to/3A34Ykq
      Cheers.

    This is beautiful, is this also available for mft sensor?

    • @Kinoptico
      @Kinoptico  4 роки тому +1

      Hi, Shreekara, thanks for your comment, this was actually shot with a MFT with the Metabones speedboster (MFT to Canon EF), so yes it is possible, there's also M42 (vintage) directly to MFT lens adapters in case you can't afford the Speedbooster as it is pretty expensive. Check the links in the description for more info.

    Hello, I have the Pocket 4K and am interested in buying this Helios. I have the BMPCC4K to EF Metabones Speedbooster .71 already. Wondering, what additional adapter or accessory do I need to fit the Helios onto my Pocket 4K if using the Speedbooster? Thanks!
