BOYCOTT BARCLAYS - The Dorset Palestine Solidarity Campaign was out in Dorchester High Street again on Saturday, a national day of action against Barclays Bank.
Barclays was notorious for continuing to invest in the apartheid regime in South Africa, and today it continues to gain notoriety for being one of the biggest investors in the Israeli arms industry, amounting to over £1 billion in shares.
Why would a Bank continue investing in such rogue regimes, especially at a time when Israel is being investigated for committing genocide in Gaza. As it stands already, Barclays Bank has been complicit in the deaths of over 30,000 people in just 6 months.
