I'm interested in Oracle cards ever since my friend introduced them to me. She talks about the Angels and while I don't necessarily believe in the Angels part of it. I look at it as consulting him. I always hear people say they pray to him asking for a sign and in my opinion the Oracle cards can do just that. I think of it as asking God a question and him answering me in the form of the card. That card is the sign. And they're usually vague, but they do help you to determine what to do about your situation because in the end the choice is always yours. I've also had past experiences with being visited by spirits in my dreams when I was younger. My grandfather had visited me after he passsed and told me that God had given me a precious gift and that he was watching over me and he was too. Then a few years later he appeared to me again in my dreams and told me he had watched over me as long as he could. Then he walked away and met with a woman who was waiting for him. They both turned back and waved goodbye to me then they just disappeared. Later on when I woke up, I told my Grandma. She was scared because she is Catholic but she believed me. And I later found out that the woman was my Grandfather's mother whom I had never met. The gifts my grandfather mentioned to me, I believe are my intuition and the fact that I'm very empathic. They have saved my life a lot of times. For example, once I was on my way home and I lived in a rough neighborhood. I had a bad feeling but I ignored it. And the feeling just got worse. From the very beginning my intuition kept telling me that I shouldn't be there and that I had to get out of there. But I was dead tired and I just wanted to get home as quick as I could. So I kept walking and the feeling got worse and worse until it felt as if my head was pounding. At that point I stopped, because I knew that Gid was sending me a sign and telling me to listen. So I backtracked and decided to take the long way home. I kid you not, just as soon as I turned the corner and started walking down a different block there was a Drive-by shooting on the block I was just on. If I hadn't listened, and kept ignoring the message God was trying g to send me I would have died that day. I was so thankful and that day it really opened my eyes because I hadn't realized how skeptical I had still been about the "gifts" my dead grandfather had told me about. From that moment on I always listened to those feelings. It has saved me and my friends lives several times. I've also had some encounters with messages in my dreams but I don't necessarily trust those all too often because they could be negative influences. But needless to say, even though I'm Catholic (which is like most Christian of Christians in my opinion) I still think that this is alright. The priest is always talking about how our God is a loving God and that only God can pass judgements but at the same time Christians are so quick to pass judgements themselves. But I've opened up my heart and mind to God and he's never steered me wrong so I don't see why me using the Oracle cards as his voice would steer me wrong either. Anyway, sorry for the long comment and backstory you didn't ask for. I just thought it might help e plain my process of thinking. (Also, I'm not New Age. I don't even know what New Age is, but I've noticed a lot of people talking about it in Tarot v. Christianity videos. Not a lot of Oracle v. Christianity so I'm glad I found yours.)
Chels, I think we are entitled to believe what we believe so long as it causes no harm to another. I shared my beliefs in the video, and I stand by them. I see Jesus as a radical expression of love. I absolutely love your beliefs and giving spirit. I’m a Christian and have struggled my whole life with spirituality and other ways of healing. I have felt judged and condemned myself for these things until recently. I too am an oracle reader and I as a mental health therapist and life coach I utilize whatever it is I can do to help others and give them hope. Oracle cards are not about us, it’s all about others. This is so beautiful and also rings true in my heart. I ask my decks to be purified in love and truth. I use my cards to learn how to live and move in greater alignment not to fortune tell. They have continuously moved me towards greater love. They also help me to see where I might be in ignorance. It's true that cards can be misused but I cannot believe they are inherently bad or evil. I feel the Holy Spirit speak to me through the cards and their guidance has yielded so many blessings in my life.

I came across your video when I googled oracle cards and Christianity. I just recently started doing oracle readings on my channel and my mother is very concerned. She just wrote me a very long message concerning the use of divination and the energetics behind it. I feel the same way you do and very solid in my connection with the divine and also clear that using these cards is my way to help others at this time. However, even though I went to church and have read parts of the Bible I didn’t really have a lot of the information that you are referencing and super appreciate how in depth you go in with explaining things. You definitely have a new subscriber! I’m even going to send this video to my mother in hopes that she can reconsider her feelings. At the same time, I believe everyone has to do what feels right for them so either way, I’m standing true to what I feel called to do and how I feel guided by God. I can definitely say that much of what I've discovered was never taught to me in church, but it's there plain as day in the Bible we all read. My teachers are the ones that inspired me to dig deeper to find in the Bible what I already knew was true in my heart. I can definitely say that my mom was concerned when I told her I was reading cards, but when I told her how much I connected with God and when she witnessed the change in me and how I viewed everything as sacred, she was able to support me even though it's not something she ever would have chosen for me to do. Now, that she has transitioned to non-physical, she's come to me in ways that I would have never expected her to but because she knew and now knows even more how I see the Divine in all. She can visit me and send me messages that others might miss. She is still supporting me from the other side. Still, I agree with you, there is no need to convince or push anyone to feel as you do. Sin simply means missing the mark. I use Oracle Cards to hear from God. I don't see that as a sin because I'm connecting to what God wants me to hear, messages of love. You are the authority on you. You determine if you see your use of cards as sin.
Thank you for this video! I am a seeker and a Christian and just bought my first oracle cards. Most people in my life would FLIP if they knew I had them. I see them as something that helps me to learn more about myself. I do NOT use them for any type of fortune telling yet trying to convince the other Christians in my life of this is a fruitless effort to be sure. I am 57 years old and though I have been a Christian for 50 of those years I am just now at this season in my life learning how to love myself. I have had it backwards my entire life: I have always loved others way way more than I have even come close to loving myself. With love being the greatest commandment of Jesus then how in the world can anyone tell me the oracle card approach is evil? 🌻

Be very very careful with this Oracle cards are basically OMENS! The truth is in the Bible, the Bible expressly forbids divination of any kind: “Let no one be found among you who . . . interprets omens. . . . Anyone who does these things is detestable to the Lord” (Deuteronomy 18:10-12).

I love tarot cards. But I only use certain ones as I can feel bad vibes from alot of those decks. And with my tarot cards I throw out the devil etc cards.

And that's your choice and right, Ashley. I advocate following your heart above all else and this is what my heart has led me to do. God didn't give us the spirit of fear, so why would I operate in fear by not following where love guides me? As for Doreen, I wish her nothing but love. She is how I came upon oracle cards to start and I still utilize her decks, which were crafted in a loving and healing energy. Every person has their own path to take and obviously, Doreen made a major change in hers, which is her right to do. As I say I wish her love. I remember what it was like to operate in fear, and I now choose to operate in love instead just as Jesus did.

My church leaders asked me to pull them a card because they too recognize they are only conveying messages of love and since God is love, they are good with them. Thanks for your concern but if you looked at the other comments, you know that there are plenty of people in the Bible who used things other than God's Word to guide them, namely, David, Moses and Jesus. Jesus said the same that i do ye shall also do even greater works ye shall do. Why am I limited to getting guidance from a book written by man when Jesus received wisdom from all of creation because God is in everything. Be blessed.
Tru story I was in a horrible abusive relationship. It sounds like you had a beautiful experience with astrology and reading. I'm sorry to hear that you feel what you are doing is wrong. I know I struggled with feeling that way early on in my journey, but Jesus directed me to his Great Commandments - love the Lord with all your heart, mind and spirit and love your neighbor as yourself. For me, using cards is my way of both showing my love for God as I'm speaking to him every day and loving my neighbor because I'm becoming a more loving individual who is able to spread that love on to others.
Hi Christy, I was brought up Baptist in Alabama. The Oracle Cards always help me to have more love for God, myself and others. For me, I feel I'm following Jesus' commandments to love God and my neighbor. Only you know what is right for you.

The Bible is clear and forbids the use of divination Oracle cards are Omens. If God did not command people to use these cards then don't use them! It's a huge risk and you're basically gambling with your spiritual life
There are several individuals practicing divination in the Bible, namely Joseph, Aaron and the Levites and Jesus to name a few. God is Love and the message I'm receiving from the cards is one of Love not fear. They are encouraging me to get closer to God not further away, so I respectfully disagree with what you've shared here. Also, Leviticus tells us not to eat swine, but I know plenty of Christians who do. There is no false vision in what I'm receiving with the cards. In fact, the vision is more fully aligned with what God promised in John 10:10 - The thief comes to kill and destroy; I came that they might have life and live it to full. I'm finally experiencing the full life God promised not a life living in fear. Jesus was a radical who challenged the social order of the day and several of the verses in the Old Testament, so why would you think he would agree with more restrictions when he was challenging the minds of his time to free of them? I understand my message is too much for some, and I'm not in the converting business. I'm sharing what works for me on my page. You don't have to like it. That's your right and opinion, but as the Bible says, God didn't give me the spirit of fear, but of power, love and a sound mind. I am at a point where I am on the fence about Oracle cards and tarot, just because I was brought up in a protestant Christian home ..

The Bible is clear and forbids the use of divination Oracle cards are Omens. If God did not command people to use these cards then don't use them! It's a huge risk and you're basically gambling with your spiritual life
There are several individuals practicing divination in the Bible, namely Joseph, Aaron and the Levites and Jesus to name a few. God is Love and the message I'm receiving from the cards is one of Love not fear. They are encouraging me to get closer to God not further away, so I respectfully disagree with what you've shared here. Also, Leviticus tells us not to eat swine, but I know plenty of Christians who do. There is no false vision in what I'm receiving with the cards. In fact, the vision is more fully aligned with what God promised in John 10:10 - The thief comes to kill and destroy; I came that they might have life and live it to full. I'm finally experiencing the full life God promised not a life living in fear. Jesus was a radical who challenged the social order of the day and several of the verses in the Old Testament, so why would you think he would agree with more restrictions when he was challenging the minds of his time to free of them? I understand my message is too much for some, and I'm not in the converting business. I'm sharing what works for me on my page. You don't have to like it. That's your right and opinion, but as the Bible says, God didn't give me the spirit of fear, but of power, love and a sound mind.
