Ava Aluminum Walnut hybrid 14x6.5 Snare Drum

Ava is a Canadian Drum Company based out of Edmonton Alberta.
They are most known for their unique stave snare drums and kits. But today we have a very special snare drum from them. It is a fully cast Aluminum shell.
Ava has produced staved drums with such complex wood patterns and locking joints I didn't think were even possible. If you're looking for a high quality drum and want something that is built to last, look no further. Ava has you covered!
Specs:
1.6mm Seamless Aluminium shell anodized in Purple. Anodizing happens at a molecular level so its as close to being a raw shell as it could possibly be. It also looks great and has the protection to keep it looking like new for many years.
This drum has a SUPER-STAVE shell extension in Walnut / Maple inserted into the shell on the snare side. As the super-stave construction has a perpendicular piece of maple glued in the middle, this will keep the stave portion dimensionally equal to the Aluminum part.
Black nickel hardware and 2.3mm triple flanged hoops.
