Make outstanding FIREWORKS ART using chalk & stencils. Simple, effective art activity idea! In this tutorial you will learn a great new art activity for you to teach to your pupils in class or to make for yourself. The activity is super simple, but really effective and only needs some chalk and paper. The activity will develop skills in stencil making, drawing and blending. This is a great way to celebrate festivals such as Fireworks night (Guy Fawkes night), New Year, Diwali, 4th of July and so on.

I think so yeah. With oil pastels you might not get such a spread of colour but it will look really vibrant.
