Finally found a how to unload video! UA-cam is filled with how to load videos I was so scared that my film would just roll out so thanks so much for this! 🤣
Thank you for the footage, i could load the film correctly :) But, do you know how to reuse 120 film? I had a roll of Ektar 120 and i shot 8 photos without removing the metal cover. After that i realized the mistake and shot the last 2 photos correctly. After that, I tried to reload the film to shoot again the missed 8 shots and avoid wasting unexposed film, but it got stuck midway and i had to remove manually, ruining the entire roll :( Do you have any easy turnaround for this? 35mm film is quite easy to rewind and reload, i use that a lot to change film types / speed without having to finish the roll. Thank you.
I have heavy trouble with Ektar films. They dont turn well on the roll when loading and are too loose when I remove the film. Have no problem with, for example, Ilford HP5+. I don't understand what happens with Ektar.
So if the film wraps around the take up spool at the end of the roll, then you send it off to a lab, how can you continue using the camera without a take up spool ? Does that mean you just have to wait? Or have a whole bunch of extra take up spools.
5:19 the film will transfer from one take up spool to the other so you’ll always need one to use the cam and if u ask the lab nicely they’ll gladly give u extra spools for free
Even 4 years on man. Very good vid

You're welcome! Thanks for watching!

The empty spool from the used film will work as a take-up spool.
Yo I already made this video for the RB, only I was drunk as hell in mine.
+Erik Wahlstrom Film, booze and UA-cam. The holy Trinity 👍
