Both my sister-in-laws are pregnant and one wears only leggings and one wears only overalls, and when I asked them what they wear to dress up they both said "we just don't" 😭 I was like, there HAS to be another way! Not pregnant now but hoping to be in the next year or two, and I will be coming back to this!
I'm usually a bit of a stickler when it comes to looking presentable, but with pregnancy I make an exception and say "to each their own", just because it can be taxing for some. I was blessed enough that my energy levels weren't as impacted and the pieces already in my wardrobe still fit my body to a certain extent, so the style didn't suffer as much 😊
Mariana, you look beautiful and stylish as always. I remember when I was pregnant (my sons ate 27 and 26) and I didn’t purchase any maternity clothes. Like you, I found items in my wardrobe that could accommodate my growing shape. I was working for an international organization and I managed to dress professionally and comfortably. The only additional items I did purchase were underwear and shoes. My feet were swollen and I needed to size up with the addition of a few pairs of shoes.
It was so depressing when I was pregnant and so swollen I couldn’t wear anything but ugly slide sandals in a bigger than usual size! I felt like they looked silly with everything so putting a cute outfit together was all for nought! I am hoping I don’t swell so badly in my next pregnancy and can feel better about my appearance!
I totally get you! Pregnancy is so very personal and a rollercoaster of emotions, body changes and self esteem! Some days I feel beautiful and so powerful, and others like I just don't want anyone to see or talk to me. I know we talk a lot about aesthetics on this channel, but never in my life have I exercised the concept of "looks aren't everything" more than in the past 9 months. It's very liberating to give yourself the time and the grace to accept that things can't always be perfect, especially when you're creating a human life inside of you. There are more important things to this life than a pretty outfit 😌
Are u hvg a boy or girl? Are u on maternity leave now? Are you going back to work after baby? You look very cute being pregnant! I wore loose dresses the entire time as it was summer! Still wear loose dresses in summer! Your life is about to change forever Mariana, so excited for you 🍼👶👼
So happy to see a beautiful woman embracing motherhood with grace and joy! Good for you.
8th month! Wow. That went fast. I'm so glad that you are feeling and looking so well.
Thank you!! 😊

Great video! Could you please give references for the knit pants and tops? They look so good on you! Thank you 😊
Great video, Mariana! 🎉
I’m slightly hoping your baby is a girl too like mine so I can pick up tips on how to dress her up without going bankrupt 😅

Probably because it is so rare to see women being pregnant.
