The pop is becoming very obsolete except for the veterans and older dancers. But I think it’s the love for popping that makes a person understand how important the pop is. Now you can use the pop however you want but popping is still popping. I have seen popping competitions that look like all animation battles or popping comps where most of the dancers popped at the end or while not doing moves at all
