Beautiful Film! I think saw a rainbow flare what lenses did you shoot with ?
Thanks! Lomo OKS
Beautifully Shot. Waiting for the lighting breakdown. 😬
Beautiful production, Andbery. There is always something to learn from you! Just one little detail that, in my opinion, spoils the atmosphere: in the last scene, the traffic outside the window could have been blocked with props on the table or the window sill. Just a little touch.
I love the lighting and camera movements.
Nice visuals. Did not care for the theme. Yet another proof that simplistic dialog is less palatable in Russian than in English. Acting? Meh.
When you come to Tanzania we will work together
Ask your questions, happy to answer
all these sounds are record after or are they captured during the scene? That sounds good and crisp
95% was recorded on the set
Are you still using Dana dolly slider ?
@@kamalnep Yes
Alright. Cant wait for the BTS 😁
As usual ... lovely filmmaking and storytelling. Can't wait for the BTS :)
I aspire to be this good one day...one day!
Seriously, I cannot wait for the lighting breakdown. I am in love with this look!!
Washed out video look. Dull. Boring.
It is the first time I'm writing a comment. I follow you for quite a time. This is by far the most beautiful lighting I ever saw and the story also is very well framed with the characters. Proud to follow you!
Thank you, my friend :)
Amazing everything!!! Acting, composition, set design, lighting, etc. you are the master.
Thank you :)
You’ve outdone yourself 👏
I loved every second of this
Well freaking done!
SUPER NICE!!!
what lenes did you use

As always great work! A few comments from me: In my opinion it's a little bit steryl and too elegant - both shots and scenography in frame. f.e lmaps behind the heroines look like they were specially placed. It does not look natural. 0:25 frame especially look like documentary talking-head shot. Also too much glow. What do you think?
That's my style. The only thing is: I didn't have enough room on the set. Ideally, I would have made the plans a little wider and not set the heroine down at the end of the story, this is the only that I would improve.
Brilliant Cinematography, Set design, acting but an average scenario
Really well written. It felt much shorter than 5 minutes even!
Give us the breakdown how you did the lighting
beautifully written and produced as always
Andrei, amazing and coherent as always. Very well planned and executed! You already show many times that you can make the most cinematic feeling even without the Arri Alexas, you can cook with affordable cinema cameras too.
Cant wait to see the bts!
Thanks! Yep, a lot of cameras are cool for filming.
What focal length did you use in 1:54? Beautiful shot :)
Thanks! 50mm LOMO OKS
good work mate
Great film ! Im wondering how your lightmeter readings on your actors have any anything to do with the lens aperture of your camera. Also pretend you dont have a monitor. But if your contrast ratio between light and shadow on your actor's face is f2.8 and f8 (3:1), but you are using an f1.4 for your lens for stylistic choices like shallow depth of field, then how do you proceed to attain perfect exposure? Are exposure values on the light meter in any way related to lens choice ? Thank you.
I can't imagine a situation where I don't have a monitor, it's literally my eyes :). I use false color and expose the key side of a skin at the green zone (18% of gray) or a stop lower.
@@ANDBERY thank you. Seems like we cant get away from monitors.
Always in awe of your lighting (and sound design). Like lighting, would love to see a video where you explain how you do staging and blocking. Keep up the great work.
I just want to make one. What exactly you would like to see in bts video?
@@ANDBERY Great. Something like how you approach staging and blocking and how it ties together with how you light interiors.
¡qué muchacha tan malcriada!
Lenses used?
Lomo OKS
@@ANDBERY interesting, what was the focal length?
22,35,50
Editing is spot on. Love how you chose to stay on each character longer than I'm used to. Made for a greater impact. Well done.
