Mayamruga Episode 01 | T N Seetharam | P Sheshadri | Dattanna | Malavika

In the first episode, Malavika's home and Shastry's home are introduced.
Shastri (played by Dattanna) is an orthodox man.
Shastri's daughter Sri Lakshmi gets an anonymous letter. That creates a disturbance in the family. Shastri questions Sri Lakshmi about the letter. Sri Lakshmi says she had received similar letters in the past 3 times. Shastri then proceeds to make Sri Lakshmi promise that she won't behave in a way that would bring disrepute to the family.
At Malavika's house, her father in law Mohan Murthy, played by Mukhyamantri Chandru and mother in law, played by Vaishali Kasaravalli ask Malavika about the need for her to work when what she earns is picayune. Malavika then clarifies that she works for her being's enrichment than the money.
Malavika then goes to care for her son who is down with fever.
