I love those old train whistles. They're so nostalgic. Hearing them brought back memories. Thanks, man. All I hear nowadays are newer, industrial engines. It's sooo not the same.
Thanks for posting this video. Did any of the performers recognize you on your visit? Plus I noticed there is a caboose siting out in the woods what’s that used for?
I'm both into railroads and amusement parks. I watched your videos on the train a couple years ago and forgot about them. I just got back into them, and I gotta say I'm lovin' them again. From what I can tell, the quality goes up and down depending on the year and the crew. My friend Dominique tried to get a job as an engineer a few years ago, but ended up as one for Worlds of Fun. Then, a couple years ago a spot opened up at Silver Dollar City, and he started working there. I bet you saw him a few times over the years shooting video. This year he got job as Ride Mechanic at the Worlds of Fun railroad. Already I've seen some huge improvements to the train from the photos I've seen at Worlds of Fun. I've been to Silver Dollar City only one time in 2012 in a common family vacation to Eureka Springs, Arkansas. Were you on the train then? I think you said so. I think I recognize you from then. I don't know the train crews so much, I've just had occasional chats with some of the Engine crew or know of them. A friend of mine is going to be putting together a 15" gauge railroad, and your videos on the Silver Dollar City train as well as videos of the "Wolfman" at Clark's Trading Post have given me some ideas on what we can do for the train. Let me know if you're ever in the Houston area, I think you'd love what the owner has put together here. I saw your video on Astroworld. I'd heard Astroworld had gotten ghetto in later years, but some of that stuff was both hilarious and ludicrous. A new water park around here is opening called Big Rivers Waterpark, and later they'll be adding the Theme Park, Grand Texas. I have big hopes for the place, although my home park (even though I'm from the Houston area) which is almost the same as me is Six Flags Fiesta Texas. I love the videos and hope to see more stuff like those train robber pranks, and such. My little brother finds them quite amusing, as well.
I got to meet Dom! Great guy and excited for him at WoF. Yes, I was on the train in 2012. We had an awesome group that year, maybe one of the best ever in my opinion. :-)
I’m sure she a nice person but that woman kinda ruined the show I think, she was the train conductor when I was there last year and she wasn’t funny then either! But I love the guy playing Alfie last year he was Ralphie he cracks me up! Over all good video👍🏽

the guys who played alphie wasn't he there when you were there? he looks formiliar from the videos. you should have pranked lol that would have been funny.
ok makes sense when I worked six flags here in california we didnt have a train still dont as far as i know, so as ride operators we had scheduled people to come in right before breaks started
They didn't do Ma! I guess it was a 20 minute show. Also they didn't say "there's 9 of the biggest meanest ugliest Yankees you ever done saw.... they all got these huge wooden war clubs..."
The Bolins should celebrate a world record for most failed attempts at a robbery. 😂😂😂

Great video. Thanks for showing the complete ride and robbery. I’ve got to get back up there some time.

It sounds like there shooting a gun with a suppressor
That thing is so quiet and unintimidating
6:37 i presume that goes to the shed?
(the other track)
Nope. That's actually the track for the return trip after the robbery. :-)
@@SirWillow yep that's the sound of a 4 10 cartrage now that's not scary at all

That would be Ben. And yes, he started during my last year there, so we did work together.
I just noticed something is it just me or was the conductor poking his head out near the front of the train?
one of them, yes. :-)
wonder why they are running multiple conductors other than training?
To rotate breaks

Someone lost their bag? What? Lol

The show does change from time to time, and they do try new things sometimes.
Poor Ralphie got hit by that kid. I like how they made Ralphie a girl. Very funny trio!
I feel bad now.
I like this video. Good video
I like them to try the Minnesota Twins in the show
