Visiting Oakley Store with 650S for New Sunglasses

- Time to switch-up my sunglasses after so many comments from you! Oakley got in touch and invited me down to their Covent Garden store in London where you can custom personalise a set of glasses, and we've even arranged that one Shmee150 follower will be able to head in and do the same!
A couple of days after the launch of this video, a contest post will go out on the Shmee150 Instagram, Facebook and Twitter pages, and it will then be the first person to make it to the Oakley store at Covent Garden, find Andrew and say 'Shmee150' will win the prize!
There have been a lot of comments in recent months on my old glasses, so this follows up as a bit of fun changing to some new pairs. It also takes the Shmee150 channel a bit more lifestyle orientated following so many questions from you guys about a more normal 'day in the life'.

I rather like the odd video that isn't related to cars, like vlogs. Those Oakleys with carbon fiber sure do look nice, even though I'm a rayban man myself :). Nice outro, it looks much sleeker and clean.

MatthewDcy Haha, the nerves being thrown suddenly in front of a camera! Trust me anybody who isn't used to it always develops a repeated thing they do throughout, it's totally normal and I'd happily bet you'd be the same.

Ive been a fan of Oakley for quite a while. I've worn prescription lenses since my childhood, and we could only ever afford the cheapest 'bargain bin' glasses. Once I got a decent job I began buying my own, but still could only buy cheap glasses. I saved, a lot, and four years ago bought my first pair of Oakley eyeglasses (non-tinted)... since then, because my job and salary got better, I've gotten a new pair every year. The brand gets a lot of flak from people claiming that they are just status symbol or whatever, but I truly think they are well worth the price for the quality. I have to live every day with my glasses on, and that's no fun of they're uncomfortable, or the lenses distort my vision causing headaches, or if soft plastic lenses get scratched.... with my Oakley, I never get any of that. They're always comfortable, the lenses are amazing... I just can't say enough good about them to suffice.
I do have a pair of the full metal Tinfoil sunglasses with prescription Oakley tinted lenses.. I wish I could get the carbon ones like you got.

Shmee you should of made your custom glasses all blue but made the logo green like the 650 s that way it wouldn't look to load on your face and make the glasses look even better when driving :)

Am I the only one who actually thinks that those "old" Schmee sunglasses looks really good on Tim. Those are kind of ... timeless while having a kind of "non-chavyness". Kind of like Bond, classy and cool.
Much more than any of these Oakleys which can be united so much for average chavs and similar "show" persons...

I assumed you were gonna get the green like your car, but thought that would be super flashy for your face lol. I like the blue color it matches the logo and isn't insanely bright.

Did I miss what the cost of these sunglasses was? I know how much mine cost - and I thought it was ridiculous - but then again they're prescription so the lenses are basically cnc-ed specifically for the frame and prescription.
Frost green tinted lenses with carbon fibre frame would make a very awesome pair of sunglasses

I would love to have a sunglass but I need one for my poor eyesight because I am a wearer of glasses, and those sunglasses are very unsexy and heavy expensive.
Contact lenses are not really fitting me.

I wore Oakley's for years until they got broken in a car accident. When I went to replace them, I noticed how expensive they had gotten. To be honest, they aren't any better than the cheap ones that you get from any store for 1/10th the price. You are just paying for the name and the emblem on them. Maybe I'm just getting old and frugal?

Amdija bytyqi If you put the lift system up and the wheels can go either side then 30mph fine, if you have to slow down for a full width bump, as with any car you just have to be super careful.
