(As well as short buzzed hair look on males and female) I have enjoyed making my males look unique. Sadly I just haven’t had time for any doll crafts for what seems like over a year now. UA-cam itself has been like a thorn in my ass which is discouraging on the video making side. That said, lately I have gotten on my account as for have begun the process of demonetizing most of my videos so I can take that stress away. What a fun project! Doll manufacturers really don’t make dolls that are older in age (Dad/Grandpas) so this is a great way to have an older gentleman in our doll worlds. Might have to try this... thanks for sharing, Wendy!

Because people used different mouths and stuff and depending on how they cut the flock or what they used... each aha their own little differences that make him look different! Never heard the Snow guy... but I see that too!!!

Super Buddies Forever It’s a pleasure! I do think Hagrid has to be the same sculptin beard or may be not separate piece then just all his head in 1. But you can try to remove the biggest part with heath fire pen bit a bit resculptin fashion bear style (and hair too) Articulated mattel bodys are awasome for those custom Congratulation!!

PrimarchEldarAutarch Good question. I do not know. I have never done a re-root. I feel like it would be harder due to being skeletal. Yet I also feel like it could be worked patiently and filled in thick. That would need patient. Now I have seen someone do “wefts” with white yarn for a more hairy beard. It looked good!
Awesome! I am glad it is of help to you!!! The tube goes a long way too! I also use it for doing the hair flocking on heads It is awesome because it is waterproof too! Please let me know how you make out if you try it. And do catch that detail about caulk compared to sealant. The caulk is better all around, dries firmer too. But none is as solid as epoxy. But, if you can sculpt with that, you ca do it with this too!
I did white flock on Ken doll but it’s more transparent than white when it dried. I have easy solution: you paint his beard area with WHITE PAINT. You flock it with white flock. He looks better with new white beard.
I hear ya! Real flock you mean? If so, I agree totally. I don’t like the real flock. It’s very thin. That’s why I use actual doll hair that I patiently cut up very fine as my “flock”. It covers better. Thicker too.

I am thinking that Milliput or Apoxiesculpt would work too? In fact you could sculpt the whole lower face by yourself? I don't know if my skills are up to it but you are pretty Artsy. Oh wow! This is really good! He looks really good!
Hello! Thank you! I am artsy but that kind of custom is beyond me. I try more to enjoy the dolls as close as they came.... and fix them when its dorky like this plastic beard. Other than a little freckle, mole or haircut to make mine unique from everyone elses....I do not prefer to custom and therefore have never worked with epoxy and stuff.

I got these less about the Potter theme and more about adding different looking boys to my Barbie World. Esp the males being so unique. Pretty sure I have the blonde haired boy and one of the young gals cause she was cute and had a pretty dress. Not fully sure as we moved and most of the dolls are still packed.
@@SB4E.2 same! I just like the unique faces. Bellatrix in particular is one of Mattels most coveted face sculpt: Claudette. I can never seem to catch any doll with that face sculpt for a reasonable price. So am gonna go after Bellatrix lestrange JUST for that reason!

What if you sewed new beard in space instead of filling it in? Would it look low or his face too sunken (skeletal)? Opinion please.
