- So many feelings about Kai. The storyline in the video. Kai is possessed by darkness. He betrayed his friend and killed his father and Zane. Lloyd gave up on him, so Kai is not a friend anymore. Pretty stupid, I know.

Ok so many people said that evil Kai would be great, but first ask yourself why? Why kai would be great as a villain? Kai have very good reasons to became villain, always second, always blamed, thinking he is useless, didn't became the green ninja (be honest he deserved it more then Lloyd). He was always putted on the second place, always told that he should do this or this, always in shadow of others. That what would make him such a great villain, a reasons, emotions that was burnning in him, the feel of loneless, useless, abonded, fault. Kai would became a "bad guy" to show everyone who he can really be, how much power is in him, that he deserve more.
To the creators of ninjago, please make this a season🥺🥺❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

You're so right! Writers ruined all characters' development like everything else, after season 8 :( But in season 11, Kai's character started to turning back a little bit I think.

@Vermin I think everybody changed, he did have a great role in season 11 and 13, or when in season 12 Kai saves Cole, or in season 9 when he helps wu, or when he jumps alone on the oni titan, or in season 10 when he doesn't want to leave Cole... Kay haved change from Season 8-11. Before he was fighting for love and his Friends. He haved changed alot though the Seasons. We Saw the biggest change in Season 7. And all what he Said in episode 8 of 9 Season 4, was all he has hidding though the 4 seasons. And in Season 11 the fire chapter, we see how he remember what wu Said that he was useless, Becuase he didn’t has his power.

Kai has suffered so much and not a lot of people pay attention to it, his parents left at a young age and he had to take care of Nya at like age 8 (idk the age)
then he was always told he was selfish and felt like he was never good enough he felt like no one cared about him, yes he is a hot headed person but anger is another way to show fear he suffered through a lot and he doesn’t deserve this especially trying to take care of a 6 year old (again, idk the age) and he had to take care of a business, Kai has suffered a lot

I’m shocked Kai hasn’t turned evil yet it would be such a great idea plus Kai could use some development since he hasn’t done much in the wildbrain seasons
Giving the way kai got his powers back in a recent season being a way of pure anger, I think maybe they could have it so his power somehow grows exponentially and corrupts him
I feel lik Kai should be a villain for so many reasons. And there has always been something about him that strikes villain. I also feel like his backstory is the hardest out of the ninja. He was pretty much left alone and abandoned by his parents and left to take care of his sister at such a young age. That crates a hole inside and an anger that could be inside a villain. I think all the ninja have hard back stories but kais is probably the hardest. But Kai being evil I think would save his character.

I think it'd be an interesting episode if SoG Garmadon and Kai met up on neutral terms. Just bouncing ideas around and talking. While I love how much development Garmadon's relationship with Lloyd is, I wish all the Ninja would've had more dialogue with him, Kai in particular.

Why is Lloyd such a _HYPOCRITICAL, SELFISH LITTLE BRAT?!!_ I mean, I love him most times just as much as the next person, but I feel like Kai is the most _selfless_ out of _all_ the ninja, and yet _he's_ the one that's always called out, _especially_ by Lloyd and Sensei Wu, for being qoute un-quote 'selfish' JUST for wanting some _GODDAMN RECOGNITION AND PRAISE!!_ Honestly, if _I_ was Kai in this whole entire situation, _I'd_ probably turn to darkness and evil, too, _just_ to spite my _so-called, selfish, hypocritical_ 'friends'.
If you all couldn't tell, I'm still very, _VERY_ bitter and salty over everything that happened to Kai during the Green Ninja and Tournament Arcs, _and_ everything that's happened to him since then. 😑😤. Kai has and always will be my _favorite_ character and ninja in the show, but I feel like the writers _ALWAYS_ end up wanting to give him the short end of the stick compared to all of the _rest_ of the characters, _ESPECIALLY_ in comparison to those like Lloyd and Cole. Honestly, _Kai SHOULD have been the Green Ninja._ 😑.

Kai, one of my favorite characters, but at the same time he is the one who suffers the most with Lloyd, I am afraid that in some season he will be the villain and his friends will have to fight against him, like Kai fought Lloyd in possessed and Lloyd vs. Zane in season eleven, it's not that Kai relies on his powers, he doesn't want to feel like it doesn't matter.
He tries hard and gives the best he can and it is seen that sometimes that is not enough and he notices it, many times I doubt and it is seen that he felt less than others on many occasions

I liked their designs and Character until season 8. They just used to look much more realistic and less LEGOish and their Character!
I mean their dynamic was great. The development they went through, especially Kai and definitely Jay in the the sixth season. I mean they still have their voices in later seasons, but it just doesn't feel right, especially if you grew up with their original design, it was much more dynamic, their limbs seemed to be together, not like a Lego figure you can take apart. More like one body and their movement and mimics. Sigh

Kai was the protagonist of the whole show before Lloyd came, he stole Kai's spotlight in "Rise of the snakes" after Kai found his true potential and told Lloyd he was the green ninja, in last episodes of "Tournament of elements" after Kai broke Chen's staff and introduced the elemental dragons in the show, "Hands of time" after his fight with Nya and Wu against the time twins and the ice chapter of "Scrolls of forbidden spinjitzu" after he killed the ice dragon. If Kai has his season, in it's last episode Lloyd would just take it away from him.

Kai has every reason to be a villain yet he still chooses to be a hero. I really wanna see him in Dragons rising or just a whole separate ninjago seires where he just finally snaps.
People keep saying how they want to see Kai as a villain. But I think that’d make everything worse. It would be depressing to see Kai crossing the line. He’s already misunderstood enough. I would feel so bad for him, and I’m sure a lot of other people would too.

0:22 Master Wu kinda annoyed me here. Kai doesn’t believe he’s more important. He became a ninja to save his sister. Master Wu pushed him to become a ninja when he didn’t want to. Just like what he did with Nya. And if Kai didn’t use the Golden weapon they could’ve died. Where was he when they were being attacked? He came by after they escaped to lecture him. I could be wrong but Master Wu is the one who pushed Kai to be a ninja. If Kai didn’t use it, they would’ve been killed by that monster. He is their master. If it was that important, he should’ve gotten it himself. He was more than capable so why make Kai work with a team which he barely knows and except them to escape such a dangerous mission for, once again someone very new to being a ninja. He wouldn’t have students if it weren’t for that.
Lloyd also got on my nerves when he said “when are you gonna start thinking of someone other then yourself”. Kai clearly had survivors guilt and was at his lowest point that we have seen in the series or at least one of the lowest points. Lloyd doesn’t know Zane like the others do. He doesn’t have the right to say that.
