the problem with having curses up all time is that they cant crit nor be heavy attacks, so if you hit big crit or heavy on the explosion without keeping cures, you actually do more dmg
I arrived to a very similar build after 500hrs. It's nice to see and compare, ty. Regarding mana I have 2k mana regen on my gear so I never run out. Feels great to get another spell slot, i don't want to come back. About using offensive spells vs buffing allies - if you're doing randoms and you're high gs you might switch to dps and end up doing higher dps than some of the randos. Also if the group is squishy I switch focus to myself and pump out heal spells pretty much constantly with like 100% cdr (45% at base). Anyway great video, ty. Also I'm running 30/10/70/50-60/10 and works out very well with much stronger heals. It's purely PvE ofc.
Isnt it better to debuff the mob, the boss and then everyone will do more dmg on him than to use enchanting time on a dps ? That Spell can be used for one person or for a debuff. To optimise a group , in the case of a boss mob, if you give it to the mob it increseases the dmg to all the group and not only a single target. Can you correct me if I am wrong ? I have read the details over and over again.
@@Mr.Flex1992 it doesnt say that it works for everyone. If it does you are right but it seems like it doesnt... need more details from ncsoft ags amazon w/e ^^
@@Th3RuthlessAbsolutely infuriating trying to figure out how everything in this game works between the horrendously flawed descriptions and complete lack of information available about skills, effects, and npc’s. Great video though.
@@Th3Ruthless Why do you think it doesn't matter? If you switch to wand your skill heal increases significantly, whereas with staff you might get increase in cooldown etc. based on your masteries. So it is definitely situational and you want to be switching it based on your party needs. I'm not saying either is significantly better or worse but it's definitely something to think about.
have you tested that the mastery carry over when you swap weapons? we lose any spell dmg / cdr / wisdom when you swap between staff and wand. dots dont trigger vampiric contract as far as i know. i swapped out judgement lightning for hellfire rain. might be better with judgement since i save 7 points.
@@Th3Ruthless that makes no sense. i have 70 wisdom as staff and 68 as wand. when i use a staff spell with my wand out i dont gain the extra mana or mana regen
Isn't the "Saint's Oath" wand passive for pvp? My understanding is in pve you don't take "Skill damage" (as per the tooltip). Not sure but I haven't seen it proc with an icon either. I've been doing Bow+Wand support for a long time now and I was researching lately Staff+Wand. But I don't think I can agree with your statement at 2:50 that Bow+Wand is a "healer/healer" spec. It's in my opinion a better "healer/support" spec than Staff+Wand when you properly double stack Deadly Markers via cooldown reset. It stacks with the Deadly Markers from other players and it's so broken that skills with 1min normal cooldown become available in ~5 seconds, as seen in other people's videos. Will probably be nerfed in the near future but as it stands, Bow+Wand skyrockets people's DPS not via direct buffs but via insane cooldown reductions. I find Bow+Wand to be a greater beast in terms of team-wide support. Your Staff+Wand are well-explained and interesting to check out for sure - keep them coming ^^
Did a quick test and cooldown reduction doesn't stack for staff users, so if you have a lot of staff in youir group it may be better to switch to solo buff.
I was accidentally following your current build for single target dps, been grinding and using resources... now I realise your actual dps build is completely different 😂😂 oof. Any way of recovery?
Congratulatioins to Wifu that was superfast to find the location and send me to discord !

happy to see atleast some ppl are reading skills and combine it with the brain.
I don't think it works this way but if it does obviously it would be better !

Does it matter, if you use Staff as main and wand as offhand? or both/whichever works fine?
@@Grimmy_D it doesnt really matter :)
@@Th3Ruthless I see, coz I usually main wand since it has more healing, but lower min-max dmg xD
Isn’t the max heal based on your weapons base damage so the staff would heal better but you wouldn’t have all the masteries.

@StratosJ it's definitely a big deal. I'd use wand in PvP as main always. Skill heal and 100 heavy attack is hard to beat
HIHI was just curious if you know if the devs nerfed curse explosion or if it is bugged.
will check it!
For sure it is Kalavryta waterfalls!!
Gimme those Lucents!

The mastery of each weapon goes out whenever you pull a spell. So every mastery goes for the weapon spells you are currently using

@Th3Ruthless you only get the mastery bonuses on your main hand weapon

boss do skills also :D i am not quite sure but i think it stacks with damage cause i have seen some crazy heals so i assume it works :P
@@Th3Ruthless I see, I'll try to test it somehow. Maybe it was just a "heavy attack heal"?
It works in pve.. Same way skill res works in pve. Bosses do indeed do "skill dmg"
I will agree that bow wand is much better for support and healing at the moment :) Truth be told

Bro it's just a game. Start getting the stuff you actually want. Some things you upgraded may be good for healing or for pvp
@Lt.Dans_Legs-freesp3Ak I know bro, but that grind was so long 😭 just felt like time wasted lmao
@theonlymm3469 it feels like that, but once you're maxed out you'll be bored anyways when you aren't pvping lol. Enjoy the road!
I am afraid that you followed the pvp build :D Recovery is to go play pvp xD Other than that its not so good in pve i am sorry.
@Th3Ruthless ahahaha it's okay, more things to work towards isn't always a bad thing 😆
