- Based on the bestselling young adult fantasy book series "The Mortal Instruments" by Cassandra Clare, "Shadowhunters" follows 18-year-old Clary Fray, who finds out on her birthday that she is not who she thinks she is but rather comes from a long line of Shadowhunters - human-angel hybrids who hunt down demons. When her mother Jocelyn is kidnapped, Clary is thrown into the world of demon hunting with mysterious Shadowhunter Jace and her best friend, Simon. Now living among faeries, warlocks, vampires and werewolves, Clary begins a journey of self-discovery as she learns more about her past and what her future may hold. I don’t understand why another network hasn’t picked the show back up. Freeform certainly messed up big time by canceling Shadowhunters. It was and still is, the BEST show they have.
Unfortunately it's all about profitability. Revenue does not cover the sci fi shows costa ...
4 years late lol but at least they tied up the ends of the show with the last two episodes.......unlike Netflix who cancel every damn show and leave us hanging!! Oh yeah and the show called 'One of us is lying' that was cancelled by Peacock!

I can't beleive they cancelled this show. They have so many terrible shows on netflix that they would cancel this show which was very good. It's getting terrible out there to watch shows because they just keep cancelling the good ones. Esp. netflix they keep starting new shows but then they never return.

This is a show that I for one, will watch many times. I started season one for the first time a week ago and I am already on my second viewing of seasons 1 & 2 while waiting for the rest of season 3. I am amazed at how much I missed or let slide by me the first time. And just for the record I'm 73. :-)

Going back to this is so crazy because now it’s like the dancing was in magnus’ head and Alec technically doesn’t know about it. You can see it in the 3 16 trailer. The dance doesn’t really happen, it’s in Magnus’ head while he is hurt after his seizure
So lmao the fact that Matt is just sitting there pretending to not know what they’re talking about when she says dancing, it’s like ALEC doesn’t know so Matt doesn’t know about the dancing because his character really doesn’t so it “didn’t happen”
