I'm definitely in the "old style" Assassin's Creed team - stabbing someone in the neck shouldn't result in numbers popping out of their head and them getting up and swinging back at you.
@@ghostlegit the complaints only got bad when unity released incredibly buggy. It was bearable till then. Instead of completely changing the series they could have just revamped it while keeping stealth and one shots.
I do appreciate that in Valhalla there was a game option for old school assassinations. Because I hated the "oh, knife in the neck took 1/3 HP" from Odyssey.
@Daily Raptor u must not remember. Ubisoft made the same old style assansins creed like every year and people started complaining that it feels all the same. So Ubisoft changed it up and gamers complained and pretty soon they will complain again
The Order 1886 is another. I can understand why people might feel shortchanged but, man, I have nothing but love for that gem. The world building and atmosphere was absolutely on point. I want another.
Wasnt it just crazy short with too many cutscenes? If it had been like a 30 hour game it would have been amazing but I saw people say it was like 5-10 hours
@@geordiejones5618 It is short. But it's honestly awesome to play through. You can snag it for pennies these days. Definitely worth playing at least once.
I think the main issue with Order 1886 is that it was simply way too short to ask people for their $60, and that's what most people seem to have an issue with.
@@RokushoTheRavager yeah it was 5-7 hours at most making it extremely expensive in comparison to other games which were 3 or 4 times longer for the same price or cheaper in some cases but if they ever made a sequel I would buy it in an instant but since the developer got bought by Facebook for VR stuff then I don't see any possibility of a sequel
Mass Effect 3 is the definition of " the journey is better than the destination". For me, that whole game is tying up all the decisions you took in the previous games.
Till this day I still love that game, didn't even get the hate till I finished it and realized there is only one ending to it all. It's a shame but like you I saw the whole game as a big ending to the last 2 games and don't even consider it a failure just something that could have been better.
Yeah I love 3. 1 and 3 are great, 2 was awful for me. Lame villain. Poor writing (like when Ashley is reunited with Shepard and I had garrus in my squad) not a word of interaction… WE SAVED THE DAMN GALAXY TOGETHER, why is there no interaction outside of 5 lines… forced to work for Cerberus.. idk. Just didn’t like it. I used to think I did but I was remembering the first game. Just played the trilogy again last month
@@kyledodson2992 2 is hands down the best because its the only one where the main story isn't confounded by SCARY REAPERS its a bunch of individual stories and character pathos.
Mass Effect 3 is the best game in the trilogy, I will die on this hill. ME2 is the one that's remembered as a masterpiece, and it probably has a slightly better narrative overall. But ME3 has way better gameplay than 2, they added a bunch of cool stuff, and besides locking a super critical story mission behind DLC the entire campaign is fucking fantastic, nearly perfect, until the last 15 minutes. The star child/select a color ending was very stupid. That sucked. Even the extended ending was pretty flaccid. But everything until that point was really fucking good. The gameplay was so solid i put like 100+ hours into the multiplayer mode just because i liked the combat so much.
I came back to Cyberpunk after Edgerrunners and found myself really enjoying it. It had a few bugs but after the disaster it was at launch they were barely noticeable. Days Gone I also played late in game, but also really enjoyed it too. They weren't life changing, but they were entertaining enough to keep me going
The new one to add to this list is Atomic Heart, I've can't remember a game getting such different reviews. ACG gave it a Buy at Full Price and Skill Up didn't recommend it.
Days Gone was the first game I played after I picked up a PS5. I was playing and thought it was pretty good, then you got to the cutscene where you go south and I totally fell in love with the game.
Loved it as well. I hated on it before release and thought it was going to suck. I played it and loved it. Some games you think you’ll love you hate and ones you think you’ll hate you end up loving.
Bought it on PC after launch for like $20 expecting just your standard solid first party Sony game and now its become one of my favorite games and I even converted my friend into begging for a sequel.
CyberPunk is exactly why I never buy games on release day, I’m so glad I waited until it was fixed, it’s easily one of the most immersive and enjoyable experiences I’ve had from a video game in years! ❤ And I’m old! 😅
Its amazing im so glad i had almost no problems at launch. I still think it was overplayed way too much and people tend to forget that no mans sky was also a thing (that launched completely empty and broken, which took multiple years to come close to what they promised to have at launch)
@@nsomjimi you mean understatement, but yeah it was a bit buggy and glitchy, it hard crashed my PS4 a lot but I just loaded it back up, maybe I just have a high tolerance for that kind of stuff but it wasn't game breaking
TLOU 2 is exactly why I'll never preoder again. Mfs LITERALLY falsely advertised cos they knew so many people wouldn't bother buying if they knew what the game really was gonna be.
I enjoyed it very much but was disappointed when he finally found his girlfriend and she was barely glad to see him. Didn't continue much further after that.
underappreciated by people accustomed to story-driven linear derivative titles. since its a gameplay focused title, story-wise as a form of direction, has great worldbuilding for its genre.
I'm not even going to look at the replies, just wanted to say as someone who has the game but hasn't played yet, thank you for not giving any spoilers.
I love the way y’all cover games. Honest measured opinions, true love of gaming, and allowing for how we all approach games slightly differently. I played CP2077 on launch on a last gen XBox and enjoyed it - fun gameplay, no issues - but the world didn’t 100% grab me quite the way I thought it would. Played Mass Effect Legendary instead, and THAT did grab me. Who knows? So,times you just have to play a game to find out for yourself. (And ME is Legendary for a reason!)
I think that so often when gaming is covered in the main stream media, the people they chose to cover it are usually just not truly into gaming themselves, so it comes off a little "fake." Or at least they say something every now and then that just clues you in that they don't really know what they are talking about. Whereas the Gameranx guys are clearly genuinely passionate and knowledgable about what they cover, and it very refreshing comparatively. Btw, they have to play/follow a *ton* of games... I mean we all have our favorite genres and kind of stick to them....but Jake and Falcon seem to play everything (except sim sports games, never seen those covered here).
I cried during days gone story. For me, gameplay to story and world building was amazing. Ran into a hoard at night real early during my first play through, and it actually made me scared to venture out at night. Until I got better guns and enough stamina to outrun them
I feel the Cyberpunk divide. But the way they touched on self-flatlining and how they showed how that event effected the people who were around the person who self-flatlined legit made me cry. Those scenes alone have made Cyberpunk one of the most memorable games I've ever played.
thing is that we dont mind the long game if it comes with loveable charecters assassins creed valhalla came with the most awful charecters story wise and and the look of the charecters is so bad to a point that destroy immerssion i still remember what hooked me into odessey .....
@@chiefmad3732 Yeah sort of my experience. I wouldn't say I hated the characters. I didn't click with them here, just like I didn't in Origins or 3 even though I like both time periods and thought it'd be interesting (so fits the track record). Unlike the 200 hours in Odessey, did everything. Got a story breaking bug in Valhalla so I stopped. And I know it got patched, but I never picked it back up because of it not clicking.
Idk if it’s controversial, but i know that there are quite a few people that absolutely hated them. Infamous Second Son and First Light! Love them! Esspecially Second Son. Still one of my favorite games
Second Son is the reason I bought a PS4 to begin with and it was nothing but a disappointment. The game isn't bad by any means, it's just lackluster & mediocre. I completely enjoyed First Light though, but I couldn't really tell you why.
Predator: Concrete Jungle. I’m not sure if people hated it. I have a love hate relationship. So much potential for an open world to be minimized to a small “levels” based game.
I'm solidly in the camp of Valhalla boring me to tears and ultimately results in me reinstalling an older AC release to enjoy. Also Days Gone is a fantastically underrated game. Have completed it twice over the years and just seeing this video has made me tempted to play it a third...
I thought it was decent, but I didn't really see the point in playing such a long game that's just decent when there are so many open-world RPG games out there that are way better.
I want to try it again, I only played for a few hours for some reason but it's got a great soundtrack and some cool cars so that's already halfway there to be my kind of game... loved Mafia 1 and got 2 ready to play, then I guess I'll give 3 another go
I played the trilogy in reverse order and I also liked Mafia 3. Thought mafia 2 was awful but maybe it’s because I played the busted DE edition. Mafia 1 was fun, enjoyed the story.
I also like Mafia 3, but I feel like they have you doing for too much time the same thing for the game to really start, it felt dragged out and when I was ready to play like the serious part of the story i got bored.
I paid full price for it the week it came out and when I heard All Along The Watchtower on the start up screen I was so fucking happy with my purchase.
Days gone (PC) is amazing, I wasn't too positive when I started playing but the environment of the open world, scavenging and fear of being killed all work in harmony. It is my all time favorite
I finally beat Days Gone a few months ago after a long time of playing, not playing etc. It grabbed me with the story at one point and I had to know how it ended. I do think it could have been a little shorter(I did do tons of side missions, though), but it was easily better than the reviews. I would 100% buy a sequel to that. Days Gone is weird, though, because it doesn't really do anything new except maybe the horde gameplay, but it still comes together into a good game.
I just played Days Gone for the first time last year on PC and I couldn't figure out why people had an issue with it because I thought it was amazing! My brother actually played it at release, and showed me some of his screen cap that he took and apparently it was full of bugs, and other weird graphics issues at launch...I wish these companies would actually release games in a playable state! It really sucks because Days Gone is an absolutely amazing game now, and I would give anything for a sequel!
Still hoping for that sequel , but apparently writter got cancelled for saying '' if you like the game and want more buy the game'' on twitter or something like that. I followed development from E6 demo 2016 and it was just a small team that grew, and hopefully now they can make second game even better with the bigger team. IF there will be second game
I love the story, the game play isn't anything too special. They marketed it wrong imo it should've been marketed mostly for the story, they made it seem like the game play was some groundbreaking innovative stuff. It's still super fun though. I'm actually replaying it again as a corpo and it's shocking how good the setting is.
Cyberpunk is one of the few games I've felt compelled to finish, I can count on both hands the games I've finished in the past 20 years (just got a bad attention span) The world they helped bring to life is so incredibly detailed, I can feel the fucking blood, sweat and tears in every inch of the city. But I'm a bit biased, I spent a bunch of time as a kid making shitty maps in the source engine for Garry's mod, I just can't wrap my head around how much work it must have been to bring it to life.
Is best voice I have ever heard. Very inspiring and makes me get many energy to do good and bad thing to people. My girlfriend is say "no more watch to this no more!" and that is when I say "shut up".
As someone who is entirely fed up and finished with modern gaming, I only played one game from this list and enjoyed it so much that I did 2 playthroughs back to back of near 100% completion. That game was Cyberpunk 2077 and I played it January of last year (2022). There was a couple of big updates during my time with it and I definitely put over 200 hours into it. No microtransactions or other predatory bs. Great gameplay and story and graphics and everything. I had zero expectations going in and I loved it. I think it is still the newest game in my collection.
I wanted to like it, but there was just something missing for me overall. I also think I focused so much on the main quest that suddenly came to a no return point that I had to grind out the sidequests, and I don't think that's the best way to play the game.
@@NickaLah there's a way around that point of no return so that you can do every ending and get all the ending rewards as well. When you get there, just go for whatever ending. Then it brings you back to that spot, go out your rewards in your locker and do the end a different way! The only one that screws you is if you want all the cars, as I did on my second play, because you have to screw over Panam and Saul will give you one if the coolest cars. Also, I played both times as a female because I thought the voice actor was so good. I started a third play as male and then shelved the game after completing the introduction. I prefer games PS2 and older now, but I don't regret my time with Cyberpunk 2077.
Deathstranding was the first ever game that I purchased Day 1, and I loved it, loved it so much that I started a 2nd offline playthrough to try and max each NPC
I gave up and thought it was extremely repetitive and boring but I didn’t get that far either. Maybe eventually I may go back and try it again but not any time soon.
@@thomasnielsen5580 basically yes. But sadly I didn't finish it. But give it a try at some point. You know how when you connected one more zone, randomly half of the roads and bridges will be build by "other players", well when you turn offline you only count on your structures and progression. And it drove me to try and max reputation with NPCS. Let me tell you, the ones around the snowing mountain give so OP stuff at the end
Just started Cyberpunk 2077 for the first time a few weeks ago and honestly I've been really enjoying it. When I saw the state it was released in I told myself I'd wait a few years for it to be fixed and that seems to be the case now
For SCORN, i think people hate it a lot because they thought about it as a shooter, but when i played it i thought it was just a walking sim and was surprised when i found out you had guns!
@ARTIIST 2.0 That's true too! It's obtuse, kinda frustrating sometimes and it doesn't have a narrative of sorts, but it's kind of like one of those cinematic platformers like Another World on first person. It is short, so if you want to be inmersed in a twisted world for a while, it's worth a try!
Kind of surprised Far Cry 6 didn't make the list. That's one that people either loved it or hated it. I for one enjoyed it, and my friend that we play every far cry together hated it and didn't even finish it. Everyone I've talked to and game with has been very divided on it as well
Far cry 6 suffers from the same thing most ubisoft games suffers from If you are new or not so much into far cry you will love it, if you are playing since FC 2 you are probably already bored to the point you can't even look at it
Man I was excited for Gotham Knights, Batgirl is my absolute favorite character, but man the novelty wore off quick and it made me replay the Arkham series and helped me realize what was so great about those games.
#4: (With background Abbey with golf club footage )"Took a swing..." Well played, Jake. And I certainly didn't expect #1. And I know this list is compiled of games in recent memory, but one game that is still rather divisive to this day: Final Fantasy XIII, comes to my mind. I will die on the hill of XIII not being one of the strongest entries, but still a good game overall.
13 is loved by newer players to the series. The funny thing is the game was blasted for being linear, but so was FF10. Bad character design, but 10 had some cringe characters as well. A sequel that had a great battle system but confusing story, yup. It’s remarkable the similarities between 13 and 10, yet 13 is dumped on. I loved the stagger system, but I did feel the paradigm system was lacking. But the difference between the cocoon mobs being part mechanical and the gran pulse mobs being full biological was genius. 13’s weakness is they created another majorly confusing story like 7, but they didn’t create memorable characters that led people to wanting to figure out the real meaning to the story.
@@BlakeAustin2011 "XIII is loved by new players." XIII-2 was my first FF game (the second hand game shop had a copy when I was thinking "What's this Final Fantasy thing like?") and I've played it and XIII three times, and may well play them again. I've played most of the other games from VII onwards once or twice, but probably won't play them again.
I just finished XIII for the first time yesterday. If they made certain changes the game could’ve been good. They needed to tell the story in a better way and have something other than brain dead combat. The game had potential. People say XIII-2 is better so I guess I’ll find out.
@@BlakeAustin2011 that makes sense though. 10 being the first with those issue, people tend to be a bit more forgiving. Then they make the same mistakes again? Of course people will blast them.
I reached max on everything long before I did all the side stuff of the map. Near the end there is a boring no combat story mission and I got nothing for it because I was at max. That is bad game design.
Thanks Jake. This video summarizes the whole gameranx team. none of you is jaded. You guys really love games and spread love to other gamers. Understanding the different types of gamers and list goes on. I could say that gameranx is just
I really enjoyed Gotham Knights. As someone who has been gaming for 40 years since I got my Atari 2600 I didn’t realise enjoying said game made me a “casual gamer”.
@@gameranxTV Yeah it wasn't like when you guys spoiled the end of Bioshock 3 for me with out even watching the video with that "10 games where you turn out to be the bad guy" thumbnail.
Cyberpunk was a very good game, but also very buggy at times. I myself, love this game. But I don't think it will ever get to be as big as many of the games out there. I hoping future updates make it even more awesome.
I don't think the game is bad, however the state it released in was. No game should be released like that. A game shouldn't need major fixes, that could take months or years, to make the game good. So as good as the game is, can't just brush the bugs under the rug. Needs to be acknowledge. At the end, I'm happy they did keep supporting and working on the game, and people enjoyed and still enjoying the game. No game is perfect. Sadly the release did a lot of damage and now people won't even give the game a chance.
I vividly remember watching Nakey Jakey talk about The last of us 2, and at the end of his couple hour video the editing just pans out, and it's just him on his Yoga ball in front of his green screen. Hearing him say "I'm just dissapointed.", then opening a beer and just drinking it followed by months of inactivity hit really hard for me personally.
It's really a good game, but as I always say, Kojima is an awful story teller. He makes great stories and settings, but he is terrible at telling them. So much exposition, and cringe... but the gameplay the more it opens, and the interesting world make it worth playing through for me... but yeah, I can understand why people can't stand it.
The worst part of it is not the game play for me, it's the constant exposition and the story in general. But you know what's the perfect way to play that game? Turn on a podcast or something, it is the perfect background game. I'm over a 100 hours in it, it can't get any better than this.
I've never hated or regretted playing any game, as I am very picky with my genres. Assassin's Creed, has always been a sure product that I could get some level of enjoyment from. Origins and Odyssey blew me away with the story, but the change up in the gameplay was so foreign to me because I don't care for RPGs. Those two games made me go buy Witcher 3, but OMG Valhalla. It suffers from BBB, Boring, Bland, Bloated content. Just pure garbage. And that shoehorned ending with Desmond being "The Reader" and how they got rid of Layla out of nowhere. Just wow.
I think this also applies to certain Sonic games, including Frontiers. From what I could tell, a lot of fans, myself included, absolutely loved the game & think it's one of the best 3D Sonic games ever! Some critics, and other parts of the fandom...not so much. It sits at an odd area when it comes to Sonic games, when Sonic '06, Forces & Boom: Rise of Lyric were universally hated. Or games like Colors & Generations receiving great amounts of praise (which is definitely warranted). While Unleashed is in a similar boat to Frontiers. While Frontiers isn't exactly controversial when compared to the other games on the list, it's reception was definitely interesting.
With Valhalla I absolutely loved it, but according to the player base my 90 hours I dumped into it wasn’t long enough lol I was told it should have taken me closer to 120 hours or so
Are you a completionist though? I was aiming for a completionist playthrough, but when I reached my 100th hour I was bored gathering all chest and side quests and I didn't even touch the DLCs, finished the maingame with 120h
Kingdom Come Deliverance is pretty divisive. A masterpierce in my eyes, but due to the broken state it released in (just like Cyperpunk), many is looking down on it, and never wanted to touch it again. Within the RPG fans, there are also haters because of its approach to grouned realism. It's a perfect game, and has many die hard fans.
I'm playing it now and it is remarkable. A bit much for someone to casually get into. Like I had to relearn how I approach combat, can't go barging in - lots of hit and run tactics, putting poison on blades etc. ACTUALLY using all the systems in the game: like alchemy, or learning how to lockpick and pickpocket. It has its frustrating moments but even in some of the best RPG's I have never fully engaged with every system of a game until now...and its all based in realism as you say, the main character has to learn to read for godsakes lol I love it.
I absolutely think DS is the most unique game I've every played and I've never played anything that's more realistic in its physics. The gameplay also most unique.
Felt a little called out with the valhalla comment but honestly it was because the DLC was locked behind a seperate paywall. I bought the season pass and didnt receive the final update. Was kinda annoyed. Seeing as I have very little money to spend on games, paying for a game, then buying the season pass and not getting what I felt I paid for really turned me off. I feel like I might go back eventually because the lore is just so cool to me and honestly I think I put in over a hundred hours but being so soured and the grind makes it feel like it isnt worth being a completionist here.
I second that, game starts off hard, but out of nowhere you can have the difficulty set to hard and it doesn't make a difference anymore, even without using those powers.
thats an argument for every Final Fantasy game this always happens this community is the most divided one out of all other communities i have ever seen wich makes me really sad at times because i love both newer and older FF games
I didn't mind FF13, but to me it doesn't feel like a Final Fantasy, and I'm not really sure why. I enjoyed it enough to play through a 2nd time. The only FF that I don't like would be Lightning Returns, I couldn't even play through that game. Doesn't help I never really cared about Lightning as a character, in fact didn't like many of the characters in FF13.
This is why I love media because everyone has their own opinion what's good or bad. Some want a good story, some want amazing gameplay, some want a little of everything. I love a ton of games that have small or big flaws I completely overlook because I love other stuff about it. It's why I never get people getting hostile over it. Enjoy what you like
Valhalla was awesome. 240+ hours for 60 bucks is a bargain. People say it was bloated but I say there was tons of things to do. I think there's a lot of people out there who feel anxious or uneasy about finishing a game that so long. They put pressure on themselves to see it all and get all of the achievements. I could care less. I just played a little here and a little there for about 2 years and just enjoyed exploring. Eventually, I completed it.
I just finished a 150 hour playthrough of Cyberpunk 2077 to 100% completion. I loved the combat and the stealth elements. The quickhack abilities are interesting and provide different ways to deal with enemies from afar. Once you get the double jump or the boost jump at the ripperdoc the game stops feeling so flat and opens up so many routes. I’m about start another playthrough.
Played Cyberpunk 2077 3 times since it came out. Despite its many flaws, the fighting is fun, the world is not the living breathing place that they made it out to be but it is fun to be in, the lights, the buildings and the surroundings are top notch and make you feel like you are in Night City. The story is great, the characters are mostly believeable. Alone for the V and Johnny moments, the game is worth it. Overall, it is about 40% of what was promised but the 40% are really good and worth the time invest.
To be honest I didn't expect that Cyberpunk Will be Revive after the negative Initial Release, I was like oh man this game wouldn't last for 2 years, but now they're on top list of steam games and I also played it and I loved it, the fact that they listen and even collaborate with modding community aid this game to the point it's reaching its maximum potential or lets say " the game has supposed to be" some people still hate it and i understand but im in the middle and im glad CDPR redeem themselves.
As someone who grew up watching Screw attack and other early video game analysis channels, I’m glad to have discovered you guys. Your engagement with your audience and dedication to the art, culture, and craft of video games has rekindled my interest in gaming (in a healthy way of course!). Thank you for your videos and updates. Maybe my favourite channel on UA-cam and I always appreciate the little touches like how you mark upload your videos with chapters and organize your video playlists. It really shows you guys care. ❤❤❤
Hoping you guys will play and talk about Wanted: Dead. It's not as divisive as these games, but it's definitely a weird title that some people love and others hate.
I absolutely loved days gone. As soon as I beat I turned around and started a new game and played through it again. It sickens me that well never have another one
I think praey for the gods is very decisive. A game derived from shadow of the colossus which was a great game itself, I believe praey was a great game.
Another very interesting and well made video! This probably didn't make it in since it wasn't *that* controversial, but based on the video it reminded me of the mixed reactions to Breath of the Wild. The situation is pretty much like Assassin's Creed where the newer installment changed some of the franchise's core mechanics drastically. I remember that the older Zelda players are complaining the game's non-linear gameplay, vast but pretty much empty world, short dungeons, and breakable weapons. It also has something to do with Breath of the Wild having no coherent place in the franchise's lore which the community is very fixated on. That's why that part of the community is quite watchful on the upcoming sequel.
I've been playing Gotham Knights and I personally love the game for me if give it a 7.5 I also love Cyberpunk, I waited until the price dropped and got it for $25 anything the year it launched. I just waited until I heard it was fixed and then finally installed the game and have enjoyed it ever since.
@Michael Soto yeah don't get too lost in the street crimes like I did though, you'll be max level a bit before the ending. It's a weird juggling act because some of the side story missions are tied to being discovered through the smaller street crimes (white/red triangles)
Me personally tlou 2 was absolutely top tier, I wasnt too happy having to play as Abbie but the more you play as her the more you get to know her and understand her motives, peak tbh
i think Wanted : Dead also had to be in this list. it's such a unique game with of course, a lot of jank but under all those weird stuff it's such an interesting game
I agree with all the criticisms over Gotham Knights re: feels like a live service game, the game play is weird sometimes, the character designs are off, etc etc. But end of the day, I love it. I love getting to see the Batfam be a family - even if Dick's character is a bit off - and getting to play as all 4 characters gives it a lot of replay value for me. I hope there's DLC or a sequel that really irons out the combat and fixes the designs.
Game criticism can be so exhausting sometimes. You just know when an assassin's Creed game releases people are going to complain about it. Sometimes you just want to play a game and enjoy it and so I don't even bother reading reviews if a game really hooks me on the concept. If you set out to have a good time, you're probably going to have a good time. Even if the game is not great
I loved playing gotham knights. I spent a crap ton of time playing it and it is one of those rare games that i wanted and did get all of the achievements for. I don't understand the hate for this game.
I love the Soulsborne bosses but after Nioh and Sekiro *I literally not kidding LITERALLY fall asleep with the gameplay* of the other FromSoft or most other Soulsborne games and the sad part about it is that i used to love it but now it's just too samey it has been reused for 6 games now with Elden Ring with minimal changes per entry to what you can actually do during combat especially for melees like me Elden Ring did give a lot of cool things to magic users but that's not my style and the 2 or 3 new things we got for melee just weren't enough to keep me awake
@@philithegamer8265 callisto still has mixed reviews on steam, for ps5 the reviews are mostly positive despite the criticism it’s getting from big reviewers, Cold Fear during it’s time was called a resident evil rip off and still is though more people are appreciating it (ubisoft horror remakes are selling like hot cakes right now remake this and your studio will be saved), the evil within has been and still is getting shit from some people and others still love it
Fallout 4 is like this as well. Most people love the game but there are some that hate it with such a passion you'd think Todd Howard killed their parents.
I personally love the game, especially with mods the world and the gameplay can be REALLY fun, but the story sucks. If they put more thought into the story and character building I think it wouldve been MUCH better received
Didn't really click with The Last of Us at All. However I Really loved Joel. Excellent older character just trying to survive and slowly falling back into being a dad. Didn't know he died in the sequel.
I remember how divisive was the reboot version of Devil May Cry, DmC. It was a nice game with better mechanincs than its previous games but the fact Dante wasn't the same brought some anger for some players. Funny to remember about it.
@Revealing Storm bullsh!t. It's the character assassination of Joel and Tommy along with all the plot armour the game needs. Your not angry Joel is dead, its the complete and utter lack of respect by cuckman in how it was done. Turning Joel into someone that trusts a complete stranger with his credit card details, even though the game clearly shows he is still wary Joel through flashbacks. The convenient plot holes that make no sense. Etc. Cuckman knew it was going to be devisive because he turned 2 characters that people loved into a dead person (joel) and turned Ellie into someone no longer gives a sh!t about.
@Revealing Storm no. It was poorly written story and it was not successful. It's one of the most controversial games on metacritic user score. It has a 5.7
@@MadWatcher that's the point. Make you extremely angry, than play as the killer to make you think about the themes of the game. It's pretty ballsy, and I respect the choice they made.
@@MadWatcher Thats the problem with the story there in general . They try to do something but then have elements that make it completely unrelatable . Its like screaming "drugs are bad" while smoking weed or something . No idea what the hell happend to the writers there to be honest
RDR2. Played for about 20 hours, couldn't get past the sluggish movement, although usually I enjoy slower paced games. It was the only game I ever pre-ordered and the only game I ever quit after playing for more than 20 hours. Maybe I'll give it a shot again someday.
Cyberpunk is my favorite game (though admittedly I play on a 4080 with mods), and I still get at least a few angry comments on forums when I mention how much I love it. It never ends.
I feel for the people that bought Cyberpunk at launch. I was able to completely avoid any spoilers for 2 years. Picked it up after a lot of fixes were made and didn’t have any issues playing. It’s easily in my top 5 most favorite games.
I bought it and just kept it. I knew it ws not going to be an immediate play, and then with the news of all of its issues, I just let it sit until I was ready. Once the PS5 update dropped I finished whatever other game I was working through, and then played CP2077 - and enjoyed every minute of it. Oh sure there were still some hilarious bugs (I love the people who panic or give up, then lay down, then get up and give up again, then lay back down). Could I have returned it then bought it again later? Sure... but I like CDR and just decided that they could keep my money in the hopes that they would improve the product - and they did. Heck I'm really looking forward to Phantom Liberty. I wanna do a second and third run through of the game...
I think that the biggest thing regarding "The Last of Us Part II" is that this is a game that you have to play multiple times through to get the full flavor (if you will) of the overall story. I have played this game several times now, and I keep finding little things every single time that add to the overall understanding of the story. I left my emotions at what they did with the trailers (and Joel) at the door and did NOT let it affect me when I entered into the actual game and I have come to appreciate just how good a game it really is. Hate it all you want, that's your prerogative, but BOTH sides need to stop shaming the other side for their opinions of the game. Like a famous meme from a hockey interview says "Why do you have to be mad, it's just a game?"
I also think its a pretty good game, and by itself its not bad at all, but sadly the games predecessor was regarded as one of the best games of a generation and the second game just didn't live up to that. I'd say personally the rating i give the second game is 6-7/10 I wasnt a big fan of how they took the story in a lot of spots but it did ok in others, also the gameplay was still very fun and engaging to me, but the first game is easily a 10/10 game from story, gameplay, and the inital world building.
Replayed it twice loved it both times. Enjoy what you enjoy but most of the hate I hear I am at complete opposite ends of thinking at. This personally is up there as one of my favorite games of all time and I have plenty of gaming years on me.
I'm just over 100hrs into AC valhalla and somewhat addicted to hitting all the side quests and tapping back into the main story now and then. Played like that since AC2 and always enjoyed getting immersed in the AC world of that time. The main thing that I've noticed though is the graphical jump in the latest game. It is mesmerising, I've often just stopped to watch just how the suns rays reflect off the surroundings during a sunset. I've also played AC since day 1 and loved every one of them, but I do agree there were some frustrating times with the bugs and combat (especially in the beginning) but there really is nothing else like it. I do understand the call for developers to change a franchise over time but is not better to have a natural evolvement instead of change for changes' sake? People seem to always call for a "brand new recipe" but never contribute to the new ingredient list.
Odyssey was better IMO, combat was way more fluid and I liked the story more personally. I wasn’t a fan of how they did the parry system in Valhalla and it felt clunky but the bow was much better
@@scroogemcducks9685 Barely scraped the surface of Odyssey, I noticed it was more stealth oriented and point noted about the parry system in Valhalla, it is very clunky and feels a bit more RNG than skill based. Think Odyssey will be a good one to go back to once I've finished valhalla.
@@sarcastixx74 it’s stealth focused in the beginning, once you get past the first island it opens up and the combat is really smooth. I think you’d really like it. Give it another shot
Cyberpunk honestly has Edgerunners to thank for people to get back into the game, whether previously owned or not, that story was so touching and compelling that I picked it up as well after watching
My friends and I really enjoyed playing through Forspoken recently. Amazing combat and traversal, didn't find Frey to be nearly as annoying or unreasonable as most people. Also a remarkably bug free game, didn't encounter a single crash or fall through the world once. Not the most stable of frame rates but the lack of bugs was noticeable and impressive. Also can I say... it's hard to find games that have cool water magic that is actually effective. Most just jump straight to ice for everything. Main theme is a banger too. Not perfect but definitely enjoyed playing it
I thought it was pretty fun too, was honestly surprised when I learned how hated it was. Oh well, isn't the first time I found myself different from the hive mind of the internet, and honestly prefer that I am not a lemming blindly hating on things because it isn't what everyone likes.
@@thatguyinamask9789yep, haven't played it myself but people will say it's garbage when they haven't even played it just spewing out what the internet told them to think
Great video but I have to put in another game fallout 76, I got it when it first came out hated it so much ! There was so many bugs and with it being online kept getting disconnected from servers all time, but decided to give it a go a few weeks ago after 3 years and I’m hooked with it now can’t stop plying, it’s not perfect by any means but it’s a fallout game but they fixed it and added loads of stuff now for new and returning players to keep you playing.
I’m often hyper critical and am not usually one to let games companies off lightly, so I was very skeptical of Cyberpunk after the botched release. But honestly it’s been one of my favorite games of the last few years since I picked it up late last year.
If Cyberpunk were developed by Rockstar with the same care as they've shown to Rdr2, It would be the greatest game of all times. The game is already amazing as it is, but aside from the bugs and the disasterous launch the open world needed more work to better the overall imersion. I love the game, I really hope CD continues to explore this world in sequels
CyberPunk 2077 went from a buggy mess at launch to one of my favorite games of all time with the last patch. Its perfect now on next gen at least. I just played it to completion a month ago and look forward to the DLC. Anyone on the fence with that game I'd say if you have a next gen console its worth it now, if you don't wait til you do. Trying to force that game to be cross gen was the mistake imo. They should have just went all in on the next gen.
I nominate Divinity Original Sin 2 for the learning curve, so hidden mechanics and other things that the game doesn't tell you, but I guess it does have an easy mode
For me, the worst part about Cyberpunk 2077 is that it isn't Shadowrun. You could EASILY add a magic system and add the different races to it and it would be infinitely better. That said, I really do like it quite a bit.
I have a massive one: Every single Total War game since Empire TW. The extreme lack of quality of the new engines (to the point where the early 2000s titles completely outclass the new collision physics in a noticeable and frustrating way), the active direction to a more arcady style and slacking on the general aesthetics of the UI that made Med2 and Rome1 so immersive, the absolutely price gouging DLC practices with not only day 1 Early release DLCs but also literally withholding blood from a game about battles and charging you to get it, and the complete destruction of siege warfare (at least since Rome 2) has just been crushing to the historical fanbase that built the games to what they are. But at the same time, the mobilization of the Warhammer fanbase and giving it an official TW (even if it is low quality) has saved the company despite how much the core games have been chopped to pieces. It's at the point now too where the Warhammer fanbase is starting to even get frustrated with the new games and most historical fans have refused to buy even the new historical titles until they prove themselves and so CA designs the historical titles to be semi-fantasy in order to try to blend the fanbases but has only made the historical base more angry and failed to convert the fantasy fans.
I'm one of those people that played CP2077 day 1 of release on PC. The game has its fair share of problems still. But overall, it's a solid game. I've put in well over 600+ hours into CP2077 and I still enjoy it to this very day. :) My DP on here is Johnny Silverhand. From my very first playthrough. xD
I spent 120 hours in this game. After completing every mission there is nothing to do. The world looks amazing, but is pretty shallow. 99,99 percent of the buildings are hollow on the inside and there is so much unused potential, like car racing, trading and random encounters are very underutilised. For me it's half a game.
@@hyperturbotechnomike you have not spent enough time actually developing games to gave an opinion on what they could and couldnt have done, its not half a game most game developers dont spend time on what they could have done with dumb secondary things and focus on the art of story telling lol, and 120 hours isnt even enough to 100% the game lol

@@SpongeGod-YawehPants Hi daddy. I know my reply is late, but since you call yourself "daddy" I think you can handle it. So you think I fit into one of your 3 catagorys regarding TLOU2. If you think that's good... I feel bad for you. Second: I don't care about lesbians, gays, trans or any political crap in video games, the story sucked.. nobody I know liked it, which is why it got smashed on metacritic and by gamers, only game journlists which nobody even respects liked it, which is why naughtydog remade the first game which people actually like. Unity is my favorite...
Yeah but ubisoft made old style games and people kept complaining about it.

I never played the whole way through. I may go back and do it one day.
I came back to Cyberpunk after Edgerrunners and found myself really enjoying it. It had a few bugs but after the disaster it was at launch they were barely noticeable.

Second Son was gimmicky
personally I found second son to be pretty repetitive in terms of its open world design
Second Son is the reason I bought a PS4 to begin with and it was nothing but a disappointment. The game isn't bad by any means, it's just lackluster & mediocre. I completely enjoyed First Light though, but I couldn't really tell you why.

I absolutely loved Mafia 3. And most people hated it. I liked it so much, I played through it three times, and started a fourth.
Truly one of the ugliest skylines in gaming history, but shit i loved that game.

The only one that screws you is if you want all the cars, as I did on my second play, because you have to screw over Panam and Saul will give you one if the coolest cars.

@ARTIIST 2.0 dude it was on gamepass you never needed to pay for it lmao
@ARTIIST 2.0 That's true too! It's obtuse, kinda frustrating sometimes and it doesn't have a narrative of sorts, but it's kind of like one of those cinematic platformers like Another World on first person. It is short, so if you want to be inmersed in a twisted world for a while, it's worth a try!
I went into it knowing pretty much what it was but was pleasantly surprised at how a couple puzzles really puzzled me
@ARTIIST 2.0 Nah dude, it's more like a kinda misserable EXPERIENCE. It's not like the sony story driven story
Hey I love these list videos.. makes my weekend everytime I see the notification. Thanks for posting

I went into Days Gone not expecting a lot, but was pleasantly surprised! I played it again on my PS5 and that bump in frame rate was a game changer!
What was the whole motorcycle aspect like? im thinking about playing it, mainly because of the use of a motorcycle throughout the game.
Me too I’m playing it over on my new ps5 as well lovely looking game
@@brucewayne99999 It was really fun! Upgrading the motorcycle was a lot of fun!
Kind of surprised Far Cry 6 didn't make the list. That's one that people either loved it or hated it. I for one enjoyed it, and my friend that we play every far cry together hated it and didn't even finish it. Everyone I've talked to and game with has been very divided on it as well
Far cry 6 suffers from the same thing most ubisoft games suffers from
If you are new or not so much into far cry you will love it, if you are playing since FC 2 you are probably already bored to the point you can't even look at it
Man I was excited for Gotham Knights, Batgirl is my absolute favorite character, but man the novelty wore off quick and it made me replay the Arkham series and helped me realize what was so great about those games.
Arkhamn overrated
I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of people will say Gotham knights is better than the squad game
Why do people feel it necessary to have Gotham Knights & Arkham franchise to be in the same sentence.
@@KingJohnMichael Neither would I.
@@BlakeAustin2011 "XIII is loved by new players."
XIII-2 was my first FF game (the second hand game shop had a copy when I was thinking "What's this Final Fantasy thing like?") and I've played it and XIII three times, and may well play them again.
Of course people will blast them.
i have like 800+ hours in cyberpunk 2077 and i think id call it my favorite game of all time
Woah nice
Talk about not having any friends
how ... the games content is enough for about 50-60 h ... how can one waste that much time on an SP game?!

He just posted bro! I was shook 😮
I didn’t give cyberpunk a chance for the longest time and had a negative opinion about it, but I got it on a sale and really fell in love with it.
I think they was the case for most people, people who didn't even play it were shitting on it
Tried deathstranding but my little goblin brain couldn't stand the lack of anything going on.
@@Emanouche sounds like you're trying to justify a very mundane game, who blew their budget on famous actors....
I was bored out of my mind 10 hours in. Meanwhile my friend was telling me it gets great at about 20 hours... Yeah, no thanks.
The worst part of it is not the game play for me, it's the constant exposition and the story in general. But you know what's the perfect way to play that game? Turn on a podcast or something, it is the perfect background game. I'm over a 100 hours in it, it can't get any better than this.
It's a weird, boring, all over the place delivery simulator. I've beaten the game, but I had to force myself to finish it.
I’m a big Assassin’s Creed fan. Been playing since the first and Origins is my favorite, but I too lost steam with Valhalla.
👍🏼
I've never hated or regretted playing any game, as I am very picky with my genres. Assassin's Creed, has always been a sure product that I could get some level of enjoyment from. Origins and Odyssey blew me away with the story, but the change up in the gameplay was so foreign to me because I don't care for RPGs. Those two games made me go buy Witcher 3, but OMG Valhalla. It suffers from BBB, Boring, Bland, Bloated content. Just pure garbage. And that shoehorned ending with Desmond being "The Reader" and how they got rid of Layla out of nowhere. Just wow.
This. Valhalla just doesn't belong in the AC universe, IMO. I didn't play Odyssey, but idk how Spartans would fit either. Lol.
I was looking for this.
If game companies like Nintendo were smart they would remake classic hits like Sonic Riders that game was good
With Valhalla I absolutely loved it, but according to the player base my 90 hours I dumped into it wasn’t long enough lol I was told it should have taken me closer to 120 hours or so
Are you a completionist though? I was aiming for a completionist playthrough, but when I reached my 100th hour I was bored gathering all chest and side quests and I didn't even touch the DLCs, finished the maingame with 120h
I would add Spec Ops: The Line on this list. I remember a lot of critics hated it when it came out. But it also developed a cult fandom.
The lock pickin made me quit the game altogether lol
@@TayRich93 Yeah I mostly avoid that lol - but I got a couple quests where I gotta do it so that's gonna be fun :D
@@kymanihall3174 lol
The monk mission is horrible
I absolutely think DS is the most unique game I've every played and I've never played anything that's more realistic in its physics. The gameplay also most unique.
I just love the world of Cyberpunk 2077 and with mods on the steam deck, I feel like I can "fix" it to what I think it should have been or should be.
My big gripe with Valhalla is once you got your “power” past say 160 you’re pretty much unbeatable even to like higher level threats.
I second that, game starts off hard, but out of nowhere you can have the difficulty set to hard and it doesn't make a difference anymore, even without using those powers.
Final Fantasy XIII. I remember a time when people were arguing for hours over it online
thats an argument for every Final Fantasy game this always happens this community is the most divided one out of all other communities i have ever seen
wich makes me really sad at times because i love both newer and older FF games
Oh I hated it lol but now I've grown to just dislike it. I appreciate it for what it is, but growing up playing 6-12 it just seemed....off
I thought it was bad...and then we got 15
I didn't mind FF13, but to me it doesn't feel like a Final Fantasy, and I'm not really sure why. I enjoyed it enough to play through a 2nd time. The only FF that I don't like would be Lightning Returns, I couldn't even play through that game. Doesn't help I never really cared about Lightning as a character, in fact didn't like many of the characters in FF13.
Cyberpunk is low key a classic
It's a mediocre game.
It's okay
This is why I love media because everyone has their own opinion what's good or bad. Some want a good story, some want amazing gameplay, some want a little of everything. I love a ton of games that have small or big flaws I completely overlook because I love other stuff about it. It's why I never get people getting hostile over it. Enjoy what you like
*hostile
"Hostel" is the place you stay while backpacking or traveling abroad.
Agreed.
"Oh, someone doesn't agree with us... MUST be a bot!"
Cyberpunk is good! It just needed more time
Sweaty
I just love the city still and the story they did write had some good endings. Marketing did them so wrong
👍🏼
To be honest I didn't expect that Cyberpunk Will be Revive after the negative Initial Release, I was like oh man this game wouldn't last for 2 years, but now they're on top list of steam games and I also played it and I loved it, the fact that they listen and even collaborate with modding community aid this game to the point it's reaching its maximum potential or lets say " the game has supposed to be" some people still hate it and i understand but im in the middle and im glad CDPR redeem themselves.
I still think the last of us 2 will be remembered a lot better in a few years. If those leaks didn't happen, it wouldn't be nearly as divisive
As someone who grew up watching Screw attack and other early video game analysis channels, I’m glad to have discovered you guys. Your engagement with your audience and dedication to the art, culture, and craft of video games has rekindled my interest in gaming (in a healthy way of course!). Hoping you guys will play and talk about Wanted: Dead. It's not as divisive as these games, but it's definitely a weird title that some people love and others hate.
I absolutely loved days gone. As soon as I beat I turned around and started a new game and played through it again. It sickens me that well never have another one
Totally agree!
I think praey for the gods is very decisive. A game derived from shadow of the colossus which was a great game itself, I believe praey was a great game.
I might enjoy it cause I loved shadow
I've been playing Gotham Knights and I personally love the game for me if give it a 7.5
I also love Cyberpunk, I waited until the price dropped and got it for $25 anything the year it launched. I just waited until I heard it was fixed and then finally installed the game and have enjoyed it ever since.
👍🏼
I just beat gotham knights yesterday and it's a decent game. By no stretch a great game but I do enjoy it for what it is.
@@SymbolicLogic24 I've enjoyed the story so far. It reminds me of Ultimate Spider-Man. Repetitive street crimes, time trials, missions sprinkled in.
@Michael Soto yeah don't get too lost in the street crimes like I did though, you'll be max level a bit before the ending. It's a weird juggling act because some of the side story missions are tied to being discovered through the smaller street crimes (white/red triangles)
I'm hoping that rumor is true that they're working on a 3rd person mode for Cyberpunk, will definitely check it out if they do
Me personally tlou 2 was absolutely top tier, I wasnt too happy having to play as Abbie but the more you play as her the more you get to know her and understand her motives, peak tbh
Not only one of the best games of the year, one of the best of all time, in my opinion.
i think Wanted : Dead also had to be in this list. it's such a unique game with of course, a lot of jank but under all those weird stuff it's such an interesting game
Same, I enjoyed the living atmosphere and story.
Combat was enjoyable, stealth was great.
Dark souls I feel is another series that people either love or hate as well
I always felt that people hate it at first but then love it later on or they love it when they do a second playthrough
I love the Soulsborne bosses but after Nioh and Sekiro *I literally not kidding LITERALLY fall asleep with the gameplay* of the other FromSoft or most other Soulsborne games
and the sad part about it is that i used to love it but now it's just too samey it has been reused for 6 games now with Elden Ring with minimal changes per entry to what you can actually do during combat especially for melees like me Elden Ring did give a lot of cool things to magic users but that's not my style and the 2 or 3 new things we got for melee just weren't enough to keep me awake
The people who hate it usually suck at the game.
Darks Souls 2 specially, even die hard fans are split on that one some saying it's one of the best others saying it's not a real game.
And within the ds community ds2 qualifies!
Another few games I can think of that left fans divided are the Evil Within franchise, cold fear, and a recent one the callisto protocol
Why?
I saw a Deathclaw's tongue.
Didn't really click with The Last of Us at All. However I Really loved Joel. Excellent older character just trying to survive and slowly falling back into being a dad.
Didn't know he died in the sequel.
I'm a huge fan of the assassin's Creed series and I do like the new style of games but I am beyond excited to get closer to the original style
I wish that somebody milk me like cow.
I remember how divisive was the reboot version of Devil May Cry, DmC. It was a nice game with better mechanincs than its previous games but the fact Dante wasn't the same brought some anger for some players. Funny to remember about it.
Better mechanics?
Yeah I loved it honestly, one of my favorite games, kinda liked it more than DMC 5
tlou2 I was personally more angry about the way that they killed off joel rather than him getting killed at all.
The point of it was to make you angry like Ellie and it was extremely successful
Like they try promote that "revenge is bad" and Ellie gets pretty much effed over hers . Only Abbie does exact same thing(and does it first) and barely gets any consequences at all .
TLOU Part 2 is my favorite game of all time, specifically because of the story and the interesting ways in which the themes are explored.
I don't blame people for disliking it. I just have an issue with the people hating it who straight up lie about the game
I enjoyed the gameplay, but I wanted to gimp Abby's character so she would be no match for Ellie.
Replayed it twice loved it both times. Enjoy what you enjoy but most of the hate I hear I am at complete opposite ends of thinking at. This personally is up there as one of my favorite games of all time and I have plenty of gaming years on me.
I’d say Prey is up there, I remember seeing a lot of people claiming it was bad or at least mid but I recently played through it and loved it
Prey 2017 is in my opinion one of the best games I've ever played.
Not perfect but definitely enjoyed playing it
30 GPS sometimes with an extremely talkative joke
I can understand some people's case for loving or hating these games.... but I can't understand hating on Days Gone. Such an incredible game
I’m often hyper critical and am not usually one to let games companies off lightly, so I was very skeptical of Cyberpunk after the botched release. But honestly it’s been one of my favorite games of the last few years since I picked it up late last year.
Mine too top 3 for me and I was super hard on it when I picked it up at launch
If Cyberpunk were developed by Rockstar with the same care as they've shown to Rdr2, It would be the greatest game of all times. The game is already amazing as it is, but aside from the bugs and the disasterous launch the open world needed more work to better the overall imersion. I love the game, I really hope CD continues to explore this world in sequels
So what is it about is it just open world
I played cyberpunk for a second time about 18 months after launch, it was like a really good fallout 4
You should do games with the largest learning curve or highest skill gap
Thanks for your suggestion
Eve Online would top that list.
I nominate Divinity Original Sin 2 for the learning curve, so hidden mechanics and other things that the game doesn't tell you, but I guess it does have an easy mode
Despite Cyberpunk being "fixed" it never was or became what they marketed it to be for years... That's why I'm not interested.
You're missing out
For me, the worst part about Cyberpunk 2077 is that it isn't Shadowrun.
From my very first playthrough. xD
600 hours? do you do anything else but play cyberpunk?
@@chivasroco1752 i have 1900 in csgo this is not that many dawg lol
@@hyperturbotechnomike infact im at 116.5 hours on my main playthrough and still havent even turned in the main questline because i have more side quests
Abby’s section didn’t need to be that long but TLOU2 still a masterpiece
Of agendas
obviously the last of us part 2 made it into this list, and i think people should really give it a chance its amazing
no it isnt amazing, the story is dumb asf, and the reason its hated is becasue nobody liked the story..
@@SpongeGod-YawehPants really? Tell me how a game with a story so cucked, that it try's to be about revenge but then slaps you in the face and is really about nothing. Nobody liked or wanted to play as Abby, I mean the list is endless on its shittyness
@@SpongeGod-YawehPants Hi daddy. I know my reply is late, but since you call yourself "daddy" I think you can handle it. So you think I fit into one of your 3 catagorys regarding TLOU2. First of all, the story: a she/man killing a main protagonist who was liked by fans, causing a revenge plot in which many people die only to get to the end and not take revenge? If you think that's good... I feel bad for you.
Second: I don't care about lesbians, gays, trans or any political crap in video games, the story sucked.. nobody I know liked it, which is why it got smashed on metacritic and by gamers, only game journlists which nobody even respects liked it, which is why naughtydog remade the first game which people actually like.
Third: tlou2 was directed by Neil cuckman, who also decived fans with game trailers and if you support this kind of marketing, your probably one of the gamers who buy from E.A games also lol yeah?
Cyberpunk , Mafia 3 and Kane and Lynch 2 are decisive games I love .
Everyone that loves Days Gone can't tell exactly what they love about it and I'm one of them. There's nothing particularly special about DG, but it just... DG is perfect.
The only thing that could make me love cyberpunk even more would be a NG+. I haven't regretted a single moment since buying it day one (for my ps5).
👍🏼
Same, even when I could've got a refund I didn't because I genuinely love it and am happy to give my money to devs who push the envelope
