I feel like it’s good for wings but even then I don’t think you would need that amount of power, makes me wonder if it’s probably intended for military use and/or jamming situations Anyway great review nice and honest how every one should be keep it up bro ❤
Reminds me of the foxeer reaper extreme vtx v1. Perfect video with no OSD.. with OSD serious diagonal lines once the quad armed.. ended up getting a 9v BEC and had a common ground and a redundant ground that mostly fixed it. Using a FC with a built in 9v worked perfectly. Is the camera getting power from the VTX directly or soldered to the FC?
Camera is powered off the FC 5v rail, VTX off the VBAT pads. The video is bad OSD or not, I show the arming against the wall just to show the pulses, if I spun it up it would go scratchy instantly.
It's absolutely not required for anything a beginner is doing lol, I'd consider it specialist basically. A beginner would be better off with like a 3.5" quad with a Unify Nano or some similar small cheap VTX
Another classic Dingbat FPV vid, love it!

Yeah that's basically what Pawel said, since you can get really as far as a quad will go with a Unify HV or Rush Tank
Very comprehensive review, covered all the angles.
Nice. Loved it.
Quite a storm you had there too!
Actual monster storm yeah
