- Killing Floor started as mod in 2005 for Unreal Tournament 2004, then got a full standalone release in 2009. Even to this day this game looks quite cool! Check it out!
Killing Foor graphics still hold up well thanks to some nice overall effects which are present in the game. It's even more impressive in 4k! one of those great mods that made it to a full fledged game!

I hated Killing Floor, it was way too meaninglessly dark and metal for a zombie game with cheeky British characters
Songyi Fan In terms of gameplay, i prefer KF2 but for atmosphere and the horror aspect i like KF1 more.
I hope they will bring a campaign mode to KF2 just like that VR game they just made.
The gore in KF2 is easily 10x more detailed and in-depht than in KF1

I miss the old maps i like the first game and the 2nd game is even better hower this don't have a crosshair why i won't go back to it. The trouble with killing floor 2 with modded maps from the first game they always change the map lay out
Killing Floor 2 is such a huge upgrade compared to this game.

Killing floor 1 have for me a more scary atmosphere than Killing floor 2 which is way too arcade. I prefere killing floor 1 just for the atmosphere AND THE SONG OF GUN !

looks nothing like the true Killing Floor that was a MOD from Unreal Tournament 2004, you had to go to ModDb back then and download and run both UT and the mod. It was amazing. This is clearly using some Directx9 stuff. As this has got to be the 2009 retail version which was DirectX9 denabled. OG Killing Floor was pure UT 2004 source code which meant it was Direct X 7 and 8.
Some of the greatest PC fps have been mods.... Counter Strike was a mod. HALO was a mod. Killing Floor was a mod. Pretty cool.

Mirec xF there is an objective mode that you can play alone but it’s like left 4 dead, it’s much better to play with full players
