Fast-Forward 8 years, and we seem to have, once again, not only the Summer fog (which has seemed consistent to me for the last 10 years out here) but now - yearly wild fire smoke in the air. We are OK here, btw, but the shit's within 10 miles and almost all my neighbors have departed due to fears and familial pressures even tho it is moving away from this location.
