- Watch the full episode 9 of H2O: Just Add Water! When one of Cleo's beloved fish dies, Rikki can't understand why she is so upset and ends up offending her. To make up for it, Rikki uses her mermaid abilities to dive where no fish collector can dive and picks Cleo a replacement fish. Back on dry land however, she meets a man claiming to be a Marine Park breeder of rare fish, who offers to pay her good money for more rare fish specimens. Rikki takes the job, but when she sees one of the fish she caught in a pet tank in the JuiceNet cafe she realises that the man who hired her does not really work for the Marine Park, and is actually selling the fish illegally for high profit.

It's kind of sweet that the time Rikki gets money she spends it on her friends
The reason I love this show is because the overall looks of it and everything else including details is just so simple (in the good way). Simple times, simple good friendships, normal looking teenagers looking their age - no overdressing, no overcomplicated plots and twists, no overly dramatic music, nothing too loud. Just the good old time I remember as a kid, wearing a tshirt you think is so cool and shell necklaces you got on a holiday. Hanging out with friends and having to make the hard choice between two or three types of ice cream. Just simple sunny, happy times, that’s why this is so nostalgic. I’m 23 now but have no problem watching the series all over again. 😁💖
I´ve never thought about it, but is so freki truth, maybe thats the reason I love the old times. Im so glad that we could find this series.

Fish do not have a three second memory and are in fact quite cunning, according to experts. Fish remember potential predators for months. They are also capable of teamwork and carrying out acts of deception. Fish are quite sophisticated. They can remember prey types for months. They can learn to avoid predators after being attacked once and they retain this memory for several months.
As for goldfish, well, they actually have very good memories. They can be trained to respond various ways to certain colors of light; different kinds of music; and other sensory cues. . Goldfish also have been shown to be able to recognize their owners and even pick their favorites. Around certain people the goldfish is very familiar with, they will often be much more active when they see the person and even sometimes stop considering the person any sort of threat, including if that person sticks their hand in the water and tries to touch them. Around strangers, on the other hand, the goldfish will often hide. Blind goldfish also exhibit this same type of behavior, except they respond to the voice of their owner, similarly to how the non-blind goldfish respond to the sight of their owner.
Take my goldfish for example: he recognizes me and will dance at me, and he knows when he's going to be fed. He also has figured out when I'm going to clean him out: when I lift my small lid he knows that means food and will swim to the top, however if I lift the main lid, he'll swim to the bottom attempting to avoid being cleaned out. He even recognizes the equipment I use to clean the tank, due to the fact as soon as he sees what I have with me he'll immediately stop dancing and swims to the back..
He also squeaks at me and responded to me when I told him off.. He was making noise with the bloody pebbles when I was trying to sleep so I said, 'knock it off' and he did.. until two minutes later he started again, however all I had to do was sit up and he immediately stopped- I didn't hear another peep. He sulked when I bought another fish.. I figured I'd get a baby as adult fish are territorial. My logic was that if I bought a baby, he won't feel as threatened by his presence: it was a long shot but I was right. He was NOT happy, however he never tried to hurt the other one in any way, he just avoided him and honestly looked as if he was having a case of only child syndrome. xD Now my little one mimics everything he does and - he too - recognizes me.

Rikki has had a tough life and just doesn't always do or say the right things- for that reason it might be why I like her best- she might not be that feeling but she does care and is honest 🙂🙂
Exactly my thoughts. She's not used to any form of attention or relationships as she's a loner type of girl. But the fact that she's trying her best to be there for her friends and make them happy should be appreciated. ❤️ I love her.
