To be honest I'll probably never get interested in a romcom kdrama again...90 percent of them have the same cliche tropes of love triangle etc. I think romcoms are for kdrama beginners who just got into them

Yeah, But there are some unique romcom stories out their like Between the lovers, 18 again, Recently frankly speaking types you will find your lost interest.. But Yeah Your first interest and curiosity and fun may be not same,, but it's a human nature you know we easily get over or bored by something which we use multiple times.. 😅
I was the same as you until I saw Lovely Runner. Do give it a chance. It has everything that makes a good romcom. Acting, directing, cinematography, plot twists, ost, clichés done right. It has a fantasy element to it, but it manages to make you believe in their world building, more believable than some nonfantasy modern dramas. An article came out recently that the writer wrote the ML after all the second male leads that didn't get the girl. There is a significant third person, but he is barely a threat to the ML because the leads' fated love were written and acted so beautifully and sincerely.

Netizens are saying that Lovely Runner is a perfect romcom. Not one skippable moment exists in this drama and rewatch value is 300% bc it gets better the more you look back on it. The leads acted sincerely, the direction was dynamic, the cinematography was done by thise who did Goblin and the writer wrote the ML after all the second male leads that didn't get the girl, which is so endearing. Finally our second male lead oppas are given justice through Lovely Runner's lead character
The Eve hate is so forced and weird. It was a good show. If it had had a different lead actress it would have done fine. Her being an insecure, power-tripping weirdo behind closed doors is irrelevant. Guess what? Most actors are.

I think is about a personal opinion …. I have seen a lot of kdrama too, more than 100 to be exact and I didn’t like it neither . I don’t say it’s a bad drama but just what I said is a personal opinion . I also think that this video is absolutely wrong , the majority of those dramas are very good, some greats .

The fact that you have mentioned "eve" and "Queen of Tears" instead of "Strong Women Gang Nam Soon" says everything. Eve was sorta fine to me except script issues, QOT was really good. In contrast, SWGNS was the worst. So worse that the title lead wasn't leading. Disappointing that you mentioned some of the good ones here instead of really worst ones.

Finally, someone mentioned Sweet Home! As a webtoon reader, I loved the first season. I was excited to see S2 because it included the story after the webtoon ended. But I was disappointed.
The problem putting out stuff like this is that what people like and what they don't is so subjective and therefore as we see in the comments many people enjoyed these dramas despite a lot of criticism however, this seems to be a big issue with kdramas everyone is an armchair critic I haven't seen some of these but have seen others and have enjoyed them for what they are despite similarities with other dramas - let's be honest when it comes to rom coms etc there are a limit to the amount of differences you can achieve but if the acting and the story is enjoyable what the heck!!

I actually disagree with this. There were some clichés for sure but I think it was different enough to stand on its own, the plot was not boring, the romance wasn't overdone, the chemistry between all the cast members was a memorable one to me, the twist kept you at the edge of your seat, and the ending was not illogical at all. It made a lot of sense for the story it was telling, not to mention it did calls backs to things mentioned previously in the drama, as well as it didn't leave us viewers wondering if the couple worked out or not (which is the case for 90% of romance dramas lol). I am one of the ppl who has had a long history with kdramas. I have been watching it since I was 9 years old and here I am at 24 years of age, still enjoying them! So definitely know what works and what doesn't. I feel like all dramas mentioned in this video deserve to be here except QOT

Why recount all the negatives said about Queen of Tears when it was one of the most successful K-dramas aired? I didn't watch any of the other dramas you denigrated here, not the first or subsequent seasons. There is plenty to love about K-dramas. Myself I'm mostly into historical ones, but really got into some contemporary ones with Ji Chang-Wook or Lee Dong Wook.
The Ladylord drama was totally pointless, since the male protagonist is dead, which we find out in the last episode, so what was the point? Would have been better WITHOUT the emoji if rumors are true.....

For example: Sweet home season 1 was amazing but season 2 was not good but when it comes to season 3 it was good i really enjoyed it but but please don't make season 2 of every kdrama you should end up the story in season 1 only from this the viewers won't have to wait for season 2 and they can enjoy only season 1
The thing about money heist korea is that it was just stupid, they made a remake of a SHOW. A show that was already very popular, and just copied to the last minute details. If they had did something like, lets say, they took a comic, manga or web comic and turned that into a show, then even though if the shows was the mirror image of the source material people would still be watching it. Because they want to see their favourite book come to life. That would have worked but this... This was just unnecessary
Totally disagree with the comments on Eve. This was an excellent kdrama, and each actor and actress did an amazing job, and there were no stones unturned here. This KDrama was absolutely amazing and worth the watch. This actually boosted Seo Ji-yea career again, in spite of what has been said. This was a profound comeback. She’s been busy and flourishing since Eve. The ML on Eve was a sincere darling. Truly enjoyed his performance. Going through his filmography for more of his kdramas. Queen of Tears should have been only 10 or 12 episodes. Also, the chemistry between the ML and FL was missing. The best part of this kdrama was the meeting of the aunt and the guy from the countryside that lived with his mother as her caregiver. That was sweet and innocent chemistry.🥰
Absolute disagree on Oh My Ladylord regardless of viewer numbers. Aside from the unrealisticness of them having to live together and the death side, the way the relationships are portrayed throughout is so endearing and realistic. I just think people expect spectacles of KDramas so a slice of Life type flops.
First Not all dramas need to have a second season. It sometimes fail so people should stop asking for it . Also dramas that has a star studded cast , highly promoted not necessarily successful all the time. Romcoms with popular main leads doesn’t have to be well received by everyone. I liked D.P. 2 (not as much as Season 1, but I wouldn't say I regret watching it). I don't necessarily agree with the praises for the "high-quality visual effects" in Sweet Home, because to me they looked like the special effects in the original Star Wars trilogy. It definitely added a 'splatter' vibe and worked well with the other elements of the drama, tho. Season 2 was extremely boring, I had no idea where they were going with the plot and all those new characters and I still need to force myself to watch Season 3, for some closure (which, apparently, there isn't, according to this video😅). I fail to see why people targeted the clichés in Queen of Tears: literally any drama has them. When I watch a new series with my sister, we often do a sort of Bingo to check who spots them first.

Queen of Tears, Crash Landing on You, My Love From the Star.... I didn't like all of those. They were too cliche. But I guess people like cliche, and unoriginal stuff. Whatever the case, I did see 'Eve' and for once, I didn't give it such a good score. The only thing I liked about 'Eve' was Seo Ye Ji. A lot of people bash on her, including this channel, but that's ok, you just keep her relevant. All PR is PR either way. lol. I'll see what they come up with next, but I agree with people who are bored of the ROMCOMS. I recently finished 'Miss Night and Day' and... I was disappointed, as per usual. The story could have gone in so many directions, but the ones taken in the show were very 'normal' and 'safe'. That's what disappointed me. tsk.

I did watch Eve and I m up in the air about it. I do expect a lot from the female lead. Sorry I don't understand your names in so K. So I describe the role. I think she has huge potential and I want to see all of her work. I do want her to get out of her head and just be, let the character come. She did a good job and I know she can be huge. I didn't intend to watch Queen of Tears since at first I thought it would be a generic kdrama but after watching the trailer and then trying the 1st episode i was hooked.
I feel like the backlash that QOT gets it's because of its immese popularity... even though it's full of cliches, if you know how to use those cliches and don't take seriously some details as Hong Hae-in's disease, etc. it is a good drama
QOT could have been easily trimmed for 6 hrs. The village scenes were utter boring and unnecessary inclusions of fillers made it even more flat and boring. The highlights of the drama were the Vincenzo scene and climax.

I honestly agree thar queen of tears was too cliched and too dragged. But it had its good moments. Do I agree that it was irritating at some points especially towards the end? Yes. Do i want it to disappear and not be famous? No

Are you kidding me? DP2 may not have lived up to the original (a masterpiece, w/c set the bar very high) but it was still a very2 good series. It built on the premise of season 1 and exposed corruption not only within the barracks but within the system itself. Its message is something that needs to be said and heard. It's sacrilege including DP2 in this list. Boooo!!!! 🤬
Queen of Tears, Crash Landing on You, My Love From the Star.... I didn't like all of those. They were too cliche. But I guess people like cliche, and unoriginal stuff. Whatever the case, I did see 'Eve' and for once, I didn't give it such a good score. The only thing I liked about 'Eve' was Seo Ye Ji. A lot of people bash on her, including this channel, but that's ok, you just keep her relevant. All PR is PR either way. lol. I'll see what they come up with next, but I agree with people who are bored of the ROMCOMS. I recently finished 'Miss Night and Day' and... I was disappointed, as per usual. The story could have gone in so many directions, but the ones taken in the show were very 'normal' and 'safe'. That's what disappointed me. tsk.

I watched it because I wanted to see the male leaned in something other than the series ok to be ok. One. But this one didn't help him either. I agree that this one shouldn't have been asked

I did watch Eve and I m up in the air about it. I do expect a lot from the female lead. Sorry I don't understand your names in so K. So I describe the role. I think she has huge potential and I want to see all of her work. I do want her to get out of her head and just be, let the character come. She did a good job and I know she can be huge. Give her lots of roles she's really not a fluff chick good job to her!!!

I didn't intend to watch Queen of Tears since at first I thought it would be a generic kdrama but after watching the trailer and then trying the 1st episode i was hooked.

I feel like the backlash that QOT gets it's because of its immese popularity... even though it's full of cliches, if you know how to use those cliches and don't take seriously some details as Hong Hae-in's disease, etc. it is a good drama

Queen of Tears so boring with red flag male leader and how the female lead got suddenly get cured 😒so unbelievable
QOT could have been easily trimmed for 6 hrs. The village scenes were utter boring and unnecessary inclusions of fillers made it even more flat and boring. The highlights of the drama were the Vincenzo scene and climax.
