..this is the saddest version of "Betterman" that I have ever seen, and I've seen them all... I really see and feel his sadness... and how respectful the band is.

I can see that all of the band is feeling the sadness of the strain on Eddie and Beth's marriage. I appreciate the feelings that all of them have, and respectfully show.
A friend and I ran to the very front of the lawn for this set. Hearing and seeing the world premiere of Nothing As It Seems was an experience I'll cherish for the rest of my life. I had to pick my jaw up after they were done.
There were the greatest shows and I'll never forget seeing PJ endlessly in the 1990s. Beautiful to see Marico at 30:13

Eddie had a death in his family around this time which if it was before this show could account for the very heavy feeling they start out with.
When he almost broke during Betterman I felt it like a gut punch. But he seemed to start feeling better as they went on. I loved how his entire mood changed when he turned around and sang to the kids ❤️
Was it his brother that died ? So sad, he talk about before.😢❤️🤘

Must have been the anniversary of his death, because Moon died back in 1978.

it was like I could I was around where they were and I knew what was going on but I was too scared to get too close to it because I didn't want to get arrested but I knew I think Sheryl Crow is there was all kinds of f****** people there that day so I knew not to get too close but I wanted to smell it or get as close as I could Neil Young and s*** that's a rest city weird looking dude coming this way we don't know who the f*** he is type deal so glad the show started before I got in trouble again
