@ Laura Watters- I agree- it's what you say. I'm so glad I was able to go to alot of these BSB's. I learned about the BSB's, in 1994 ( albeit "LATE" )- which I found it to be a happy surprise that PJ and Mr. Young had a relationship ( + Mirror Ball ) and that Pearl Jam worked & played with him, and contributed to Pegi & Neil's fundraising by performing at her Bridge School Benefits, for the school she'd co-founded.
My first time seeing Pearl Jam live was at the '94 Bridge School Benefit-and I was "hooked"- big time. I basically went almost every year after that, through 2016, when it came to a close. If I couldn't attend both days of that benefit concert, I was grateful to go on the Sunday ones. I usually tried to go to both days when Pearl Jam was lined up to perform. This opened my up to a bunch of different artists I'm so glad I got to see live.
During Pearl Jam's Oakland, Ca dates, May 12, & 13, 2022, Eddie Vedder mentioned the BSB's, and I took it as him saying something perhaps about those maybe occuring again...(?) Wouldn't that be something good? Cross my fingers...
