  • In this video we install a VMP Performance Gen 3R supercharger on a 2014 Mustang GT. This car also received Billet Oil pump gears and Billet crank sprocket with all new timing components. We are working with Jon Bowen of JPtuning to get this car dialed in! Be sure to come back and check out the first pulls, drivability and our overall first impressions of this kit.

@@ev8397 I can and will do them. Feel free to shoot me a message on our Facebook at yard art racing and I’d be more than happy to get you a quote. I’m in the process of relocating my shop so I may or may not be able to do it right this minute but I’m still trying my best to get things done. Life has been crazy lately.

Good work my man. It does really good with power. You find out something I found out with the kit, it’s not a true no grind kit. I don’t say that to down on the product at all. I ended up having some alignment issues and used the shim. I cut the piece at the FEAD bracket as well. I ended up missing a few pieces from the kit as well. The pin part was the only annoying thing. 4 out of 5 stars!!! Remove the belt alignment issues it’s a 5

That’s great to hear some real world feedback on it! We’re in the tuning phase right now and have yet to make any boost. I know that’s always a big issue with blower cars so hopefully we don’t have to do any shims but if we do, we do. I’ll hopefully have the next video out next Sunday if all goes well

just installed my kit about 6 weeks ago. I had similar issues as you with the timing cover as I had to take everything back off 3/4 of the way done and put a new timing cover on but for a different reason. For early 2011 mustangs, they came with no bosses on the cover at all. So no place to mount the idle pulley or tensioner at all. So that sucked. Got a new cover and install went smooth. I will say that my no grind fead bracket did not require any grinding. Had to cut the block on the water pump and that was it. If the cover had been correct I would have had complete install done in 12 hours. My car does whine super loud at WOT over 3500 rpm on the 3.5 pulley and even louder on the 88mm pulley( with boostane at 100 octane mix). I do have full length headers and h-pipe going to factory axle back tho. I had flowmaster axlebacks on it and the whine was less but I think it was cause the car was just so much louder. Too much for me so went back to stock. Tune done by Michelle at Vmp and it’s really really strong. They return emails for tuning super fast too and even did both 93 and 100 octane tunes for no extra cost since I ordered the pulley as I was installing the kit. It’s a 10 second car easy wow and I love it

We thought the kit went really smooth overall. Having done one now I know I could go way faster for sure! This car is currently tuned on the same pulley and nothing has changed, makes around 8 psi of boost and the car is ridiculously fast! Keep an eye for the next video where we go to the track. I will say the car did not disappoint. There’s still a lot of learning to do but it’s making it easy for him.

Subscribed. Definitely will keep an eye out for next vid as I’m curious as to what kinda numbers the smaller pulley is running. I’m guessing really low 10s. Great content man!!
