💥💥💥💥The content of this channel only gets better and better. I remember when I first started watching you guys the narration was a little too fast and I found myself having to rewind. Not anymore. Perfectly paced narration with an incredible soundtrack for this video. It's fun watching you guys grow into professionals. Congratulations on the 1835 capped bust half dime! That's a bucket lister for me too! I only have a 1795, an 1802, 1828, and a 1836, most of which I found around an old fishing hole where I almost landed a fish so big that I'm certain it would have set a world record…..But that's the story for another day.
Wow, Jerry!!!!!!! Congratulations on that beautiful cap bust 5 cent piece 💥💥🔥So much pewter, what an amazing old site!!! Can't wait to see you & Shawn go back there! Beautiful intro, gave me chills. Thank you, Jerry 💖💖
Looking forward to seeing what you and Shawn find at the first site. Congratulations, Jerry, on the buttons, coppers, and the Draped bust half dime. Great find! Have a great Memorial day weekend
Your cufflink should have a running fox and the word “Tallio” (a variant of Tally-Ho). Manufactured in England late 18th century I believe. Great hunt!
What an awesome find. "Silver in the hole" I don't think I could ever suck on a coin, but you got the job done. Enjoyed you adventure thanks for sharing.
I always enjoy watching your episodes and the finds make it even better. You really do an awesome job, way to go. 👍 I love western P.A. Too. My dad and I use to talk about that occasionally many years ago. Keep on diggin
The button says "TALLY-O" which is the call for a fox hunter when sighting the prey. Today the term has morphed into "tallyho", which you may recognize as the radio call a fighter pilot makes when sighting a bandit or vampire. What an excellent upload! The capped-bust half-dime is beyond a bucket lister, more like a unicorn. Can't wait to get back to that first spot, looks to be juicy!
Thanks for the lesson! We did find an example of the cuff button and turns out the animal on it is a fix and you are 100 correct. We go back to that spot in the next video and it doesn’t disappoint.
Almost 8,000 views, hit the subscribe button people! These guys are amazing, from the editing to the history to the finds! Give Jerry and Shawn the thumbs up and hit the subscribe button so you don’t miss a video! Another awesome video!
If you think those were meteor craters, you should run your detector through them. Worth a lot, plus a great addition to your collection. Love your openings!😊
Jerry the thing you found with 2 holes and the floral design is like goes on a pull strap. Put one end in each hole and pull it through to keep whatever it's on tight I do believe. Probably off of a old purse. 10 stars. Great video.
Item at 18:00 is definitely a saddle strap guide. Dug many myself here in Vermont. Dating those is difficult as they could range from the colonial era through the 1800s, but given the age of the other items you found there, an earlier date would be plausible. Great old site you have there with some solid finds.
I just love your videos you all do such a great job best videos out there love all the great finds keep up the amazing work stay safe out there and have a great weekend can't wait for the next video lots of love from West Virginia ❤️🙂
Great early finds! The "flat" butt plate looks similar to early 2nd-3rd model brown bess or early American types. Great Tally-Ho button. The animal woud be a fox... congrats again on the finds & your silver coin.
15:58 Wouldn't it be a lot easier - safer - cleaner, to carry a small spray bottle of water or alcohol to clean finds rather than sucking off the dirt? Also, how about a camera tripod? Extra batter or power pack? And how would you be giving away your secrets if you give a general location such as Easter P.A., or even a county?
They were some great finds. If you don’t have one, you should get a spray bottle. I wouldn’t recommend sticking stuff in your mouth. That’s 200+ years old.
Well DUU to you. You obviously didn't watch the entire video because he (paraphrasing) explained that he hadn't planned to go there, and so the battery wasn't full. Another word, it was "spontaneous", spur-of-the-moment, unplanned, etc. Next time, listen more carefully before making a commitment to criticism.

100% stap guide of some sort. Very cool that it had some fancy design on it!
Thanks!

Thanks Dirty! Appreciate the comment and support!
Great video. Some real good find there. Thanks!
Thanks!!
Good on you finding that silver coin! I often consider the many old coins that we unknowingly walk over and past as we go about our daily business.
We often think the same thing.
Great finds. Nice work !
Thanks

Thanks Doug! I was wondering what the butt plate would have went to.
Time to start your kids on this exciting road to history. Be safe out there. 😊
Thank you. We have had the kids out in a few earlier episodes.
Again the best video’s
Have you been on the Appalachian Trail? There are a few old abandoned home sites toward the Harrisburg area
Good digs
Very Very Cool
That last oval piece definitely looks like a saddle strap guide.
Thanks Jay! Others have guessed that too
Congratulations on your finds. You have great clarity and color with your camera. What are you using if you don`t mind me asking?
Currently we just use our phones. We both use Apple phones. Then in the editing process we add luts.

Oh my God! Western P.A. what a revelation.
great silver dime.

I believe Talyho or Taliho buttons were from store bought hunting shirts and pants early to mid 1800's???

We frequently say we are in western PA and Armstrong County. Sometimes we go outside of the county but not to much.
They were some great finds. If you don’t have one, you should get a spray bottle. I wouldn’t recommend sticking stuff in your mouth. That’s 200+ years old.

home and farm staed
Very possible. Thanks zach
Sorry I’m late watching had to cut a dead tree down when you get 70 it gets harder
That's not what she said 😂
Better late than never! Thanks Leo
Let me know if you want company
Crick? Music is annoying, too loud.
Explain something to me why is it people who make videos walk out in the middle of nowhere and don't have enough battery life to film. DUH
After work exploring. Not a planned hunt. Could be many, many reasons.
