    I finally found you again. I have looked for this recipe for two days because I had it in my other phone and I lost my phone because it died. I knew there was honey in it and I knew there was tomato. I thought was sauce but it’s paste and I’m glad I found you, you are right everybody loves it and I love it too thank you for sharing. I will continue to use this as long as the Lord allows!!!

    Just finished making 12 - 500 ml jars of this and it's really good!! I had 20 cups of tomatoes so just added a little more of everything to compensate for the amounts you put in. I think I put a little to much cumin in and used parsley instead of the cilantro as I couldn't find any so made do with what I had on hand and I used white vinegar instead of cider vinegar because I'm not a fan of cider vinegar. It's got a great flavor but next time I will use less cumin. I've got lots more fresh tomatoes in the garden so will be making another batch in a couple more days! Thank you for the easy to follow step by step tutorial, you made my first time making Salsa a much easier process and I appreciate that!!

    HI Angela, I love this recipe and I have canned 4 recipes. The one ingredient I need to know is how man Jalapeños the hot ones, so my salsa is hot. I did at Flatiron
    pepper flakes to my last double recipe it became a bit hot, but not sure how much more pepper flakes to get heat. Thanks for sharing your recipe. This year the LORD blessed us with many, many Roma tomatoes.!

    I just made this salsa last night and everyone loved it! My daughter, her husband, my other daughter, a family friend, my husband who helped chop, grandchildren and on and on. I have eight pints in the canner right now and I will have to make another batch. This is going to be our go to salsa from now on, it is fantastic. I did peel snd seed the tomatoes and was so thankful that the Nadapenas grew prolifically this year. Thank you for posting this recipe.

You do great instructional videos missy. I’d like to see your face talking to me rather than your hands and.... 🤣 Good job missy! 👍👍 🍅

    Hi there. Blessings to you from PEI in Canada. It’s me again. 😁 Once again, I’m preparing more of your beautiful salsa here. And I’m stumped. 🤔 I’m making half your batch, using about 5 cups of tomatoes etc… how much dried parsley should I use.
    No cilantro on hand right now. Thank you

    • @artofcreationhomestead

    Hi . Could you tell me if I could add more of the green chiles just before I serve the salsa?? Please?? I got mixed in my measurements 🥴 this is my second batch. First batch tastes delicious. Worth the time to chop it all by hand. Thank you so much.

      I put my tomatoes in the freezer. I just core and clean when I’m ready to can I pull out what I want. Also if you run hot water over them the skin will slide right off.

    Can you please tell me why I can water can salsa with all of the vegetables but not vegetable soup or tomato soup that has more than a cup of vegetables per 12 cups of tomatoes?

    • @artofcreationhomestead
      @artofcreationhomestead  2 роки тому +3

      This is safe for water bath canning because of the amount of vinegar in it. The vinegar brings the pH to a safe level for water bath canning.

    Why are you wiping off the water? Thought you werent suppose to disturb jars it will evaporate, why take a chance of ruining seal?

    • @artofcreationhomestead
      @artofcreationhomestead  5 місяців тому

      I just don't like the water marks left on top of the jars after the water eventually evaporates. I'm not putting any pressure on the lid just allowing the paper towel or hand towel to soak up the water

    How do you get it that it is not so liquidly how do you thicken it

    • @artofcreationhomestead
      @artofcreationhomestead  2 роки тому +1

      Cook it until it's almost as thick as you like it then add tomato paste to finish the thickening.

    Does the honey give a sweet taste…we don’t like sweet salsa.

    • @artofcreationhomestead
      @artofcreationhomestead  2 роки тому

      It's doesn't make it sweet at all. It just makes it more balanced and takes away some of the harsh acidity.
