For a long term investment in a small cap, risk will be adjusted. Then, return only taken in to consideration. Hence, Quant is best. It's my opinion as aggressive investor.
Hold quant permanently till death :my plan to become rich and retire
Bandhan small cap performed better than quant in past 1 year , but nobody talks about it .
@@arunsadanandabhat8518 make me as ur nominie
@@User67578 overall, bandhan small is second best among all small cap fund..Quant small cap has higher return in last 3yrs and 5yrs, and no.1 in that duration. That's why everybody is talking more about Quant..but having said that, Bandhan is a nice dversify from quant small cap, it has a very different holding pattern.
Yeah, quant on long term hold makes sense, for long term investors volatility risk should not be a problem at all.
I am going to invest in Quant Small Cap... Will come to here after 20 year's.. Will see what will happen😊
Quant small and mid cap relatively seems to have the same returns, which is better
Sbi small cap is the best..wonderful downside protection and constent yearly returns of 25 percent. What more do you want.
Please guys don't forget that small cap funds can fall as much as 60%, Your mind won't work when it will be falling for 5-10 years and take another 5 years to get back there, From the last 3 years Small cap fund are giving tremendous returns That's why we are well influenced by small cap including me so be cautious
Diversify well And Happy Investing :) :)
😊😊 no risk no gain 😊😊
@@chaitanyasantosh1607gain is realised only at time of selling and no one sells right before a market crash it usually wipes out a lot of money
in 10yrs horizon, all small cap will give good return..no fund keep falling for 10yrs..the most continuous fall is at most 3yrs stretch if you check any duration in nifty and sensex
bhai late ho gya mujhe alert milne me 🥲
Tum large me invest karo hum smallcap me
Good analysis, invested in Sbi and Nippon, both giving good returns with reasonable safety.
I have a 3 fund portfolio consisting of 33% S&P, 33% Total stock, and 33% international. I feel a need to focus on complete growth so I went 100% stocks, but does the SP500 and TSM overlap too much to make sense holding both? However I’ve been in the red for a month now. I work hard for my money, so investing is making me a nervous sad wreck. I don’t know if I should sell everything, sit and just wait but watching my portfolio dwindle away is such an eye -sore.
There are many other interesting stocks in many industries that you might follow. You don't have to act on every forecast, so I'll suggest that you work with a financial advisor who can help you choose the best times to purchase and sell the shares or ETFs you want to acquire.
I agree, that's the more reason I prefer my day to day investment decisions being guided by an advisor seeing that their entire skillset is built around going long and short at the same time both employing risk for its asymmetrical upside and laying off risk as a hedge against the inevitable downward turns, coupled with the exclusive information/analysis they have, it's near impossible to not out-perform, been using my advisor for over 2years+ and I've netted over 2.8million.
@@maryHenokNft bravo! I appreciate the implementation of ideas and strategies that result to unmeasurable progress, thus the search for a reputable advisor, mind sharing info of this person guiding you please?
*Gertrude Margaret Quinto* is the licensed advisor I use. Just research the name. You’d find necessary details to work with a correspondence to set up an appointment.
Thanks for the advice. The search for your coach was simple. I investigated her well before using her services. Considering her résumé, she appears competent.
Best part about Varun, he doesn't needs to create new content. He just uses whatever is happening around the country. Most of his jokes are actually reality. It's Varun's style of content delivery that makes it more hilarious. 😂
All 3 are better - Equal investing in any 2 funds is ideal in small cap. All funds should not be delpoyed in one fund.
@@Spidhey why bro?
Investing in two funds may cause Overlap if i am not wrong, how to tackle this?
@@DeerajKumarMSIT compare overlapping of holdings between two funds from fundoo fundpicker tool if they have less than 30 percent overlap you are good to go
What is the issue … on over lap ..any which ways if you invest in a single fund still you overlap right..
If still you need to further diversify you can open your own company and invest .. on lighter note :)
Thanks for the info. Nippo stopped accepting lumpsum investment for small cap. Even orherwise also, i prefer quant small cap.
You're welcome! Please share this video with your friends and family as well.
Please explain this narrative that index funds are better than the active bluechip funds in terms of return/cost
Ultimately return is important considering all parameters of risk, expense ratio and many more ..managing all risks and giving returns is finally the fund manager skills and investors expectation
Very well explained video.. A 2-3 min explanation of ratios such as sortino ratio, sharpe ratio of these mfs would have been a cherry on the cake.. Pls take it as a suggestion for any forthcoming videos on mfs..
I only have mutal parag parikh flexi cap with 12000 sip
Any day, Nippon. Thanks for this video. Very informative
Why?
Nippon AMC High may not give returna in future
overall i think best fund is axis small cap direct growth
I do my SIPs in three small cap funds
Axis Small Cap
Kotak Small Cap
Quant Small Cap.
Axis and Kotak are incredibly stable with less beta and Quant gives the best alpha. So I think this might be the best strategy.
Nice analysis. I am going to invest equally in these 3 funds
Quant small cap is the best one. I already invested 1.2 crore in this single fund and which has given me a CAGR of 47% for the past 4 years. I treat it as a PMS and hold for 30+ years for my retirement purpose.
if one had to choose another fund along with quant which one she it be? or is it better to have one quant and one small cap index fund?
I invest in both Quant and Nippon and both of them delivered excellent results for the last 2 years
Same here but now I want to switch in Nippon only from Quant
@@pushprajkaji1 just curious, why do you want to do that?
@@skreddy48 both mutual fund invested in same company. And Nippon is a growth mf and quant is dividend mf.
was thinking the same but also considering quant + small cap 250 index.
I have sbi small cap... but expectation from small cap category is to give aggresive return, which it is not giving currently compared to other fund... but since I am a stock investor as well, I believe what stocks it have currently is not running and will run soon and can deliver better returns.. Quant is exception because they use data analysis and churn as and when data says that the stock has reached peak.. so it is not compareable to others..
I think the combination of quant + axis/canara rebecco is good. If you are investing in mutual funds it is always good to divide the amount in two funds.
This is absolutely correct because each fund house chooses different stocks. So we can be assured that our monies are spread across all stocks & are equally balanced
I`m 40 now, started investing in Nippon Small Cap 4 years back .. Thank God !
Good video, very good efforts made, thank u somuch
Do u have similar kind of video on mid cap ?
Nippon Small Cap is more balanced fund in terms of risk and return. It is very important in long term horizon
it isn't. it looks like an index fund has worst downside protection during correction
@@jishnu18if u need protection go to banks n do FD
@@Marss-yh8io Actually Quant is giving good return and downside protection compare to Nippon, I think that is what he meant.
@@Marss-yh8io typical nonsense. No one said about FD here just said Nippon small cap is the one with worst downside protection with 190+ stocks. It will fall like an index
Appreciate your videos! Can you also make dedicated ELSS mutual fund review videos which also factor in expense ratios as well?

In this video quant is shown like its not great. But withing et money app its consistently ranked number 1. I have this disconnect in few other funds too. Would be great if et money can also explain in their videos how the ranking is done within app. It would clarify for people like us who have invested in quant small cap by trusting et money ranks.
Finally et money show their studio. Different type of video. I like it.

It's always better to diversify your investments. If small cap is giving more returns it does not mean that you will put all your money in a small cap. I would prefer to put 30-40 percent in the small cap.
Thank you, Good analysis 👍

I have both Nippon and Quant.
Small cap funds are high risk category funds. If any one wants to invest a small portion of their investment in small cap funds then why he/she thinks about defensive or down side protection. I think it's better to go with quant small cap fund.
👍

For me..SBI small cap fund makes most sense.
Now iam investing in Axis & Nippon small cap getting good return.
Thank you sir and very brief in telling . sir i have some lumsun in which way i have to invest.
Hello, please share the video with your friends and family as well. As to your query, it depends on your investment horizon. For up to 3 years, you can consider debt funds. For 3 to 5 years, hybrid funds are suitable. And for over 5 years, you can consider equity funds.
Try to keep the color of those bars consistent over different comparisons.
Excellent comparison 👏
I will invest 2/3rd of amount from my quota for Small cap funds in Quant and 1/3rd in SBI. Is that make a sense 🤔
Quant is the most nimble. The true test will come when the market crashes
Dear Team ,i would prefer NSE Small cap 250 index fund...
lumpsum (trade) in quant and SIP in SBI ❤🎉
Excellent idea
Great ❤
I am also doing same strategy
Which 2 smallcap fund is better for lumpsum now?
@ETMONEY
If we are investing in two Smallcap funds at a time, be it Nippon and Quant or other combination, doesn't it lead to overlap of funds? Is it a good practice to invest in only one fund or is it better to invest in two funds to balance out the market crash situations.
Thank you..
You're welcome. Please share this video with your friends and family as well.
To balance the risk one should invest in all 3 funds. I have all these & extremely satisfied.
Good to know that u diversified your portfolio.can you tell what are other funds in your portfolio and if possible, portfolio size also
ALL 3. I have Nippon. Now oriented towards Quant.
Small cap is very volatile. I love quant midcap fund. It has given 62 % return in last 1 yr.
Requesting all viewers not to withdraw during market crashes further exposes the fund to further downside risks as they will need to sell stocks at low prices.
Stick to the game for more than 10+ years and see the magic!
Hello, well said! Indeed, long-term investing fetches the best rewards.
For short run quant and for long SBI snd other big companies
Sir which investment will be better, one time investment or Sip in this small cap mutual funds in coming month can you suggest.
Hello, it's always better to go for SIPs as they help you average your investment cost and reduce the impact of volatility. They are especially recommended in small-cap funds.
Oo my god. I legit was researching small cap mf this afternoon. Specially quant and Nippon. This is definitely a sign. I'm thinking of investing for more than 10 years and hoping For 20% annualized return. Hope it works.

Super Ji
Considering the number of stocks invested in Nippon Small cap (200+), would it make sense to just invest in Smallcap 250 index fund instead, which comes with lower charges ?
Correct, what is the fund manager doing, you can just filter some 30 odd small caps with basic formulas and get the same return
Hello, it's not as simple as that as the stocks and their weights can widely differ. Here is our analysis of Nippon Small Cap Fund in detail: ua-cam.com/video/bBpPaQktb6o/v-deo.html

Problem with quant they have same company in every fund like reliance and adani in mejority but SBI has diversified portfolio
Quant small cap as it has high high turnover ratio and follows value style of investing which will give returns for this decade. Secondly i would prefer nippon india as it has balanced approach and then SBI.
