The best part about this way of thinking is that it means I have to be racist as well just because Im white. Half my friends arent white in a country thats at least 80% white people. As a gay person it's kind of weird to see that there is peoples like Pablo who thinks just because something hurt his little feelings or some peoples feelings that apply to everyone. NO! I'm morbidly obese and have been for years. I've also been watching Isaac for years. I have no problem with his style of comedy. I don't feel attacked. I don't feel oppressed. I don't feel any of these things when someone else gives their opinion because I'm a functioning adult. If I were happy with my body I wouldn't be working so hard to change it. Isaac has no bearing on what I do or don't do. Nor does he offend me in any way. I love his sense of humor, so I stick around and watch all the videos he has. If you don't like it, don't watch it. I think that's pretty easy.
And there it is! Just because people like Pablo don’t like it they think they can stop everyone else from watching it. He believes that he should be able to control what others watch, say and think. As a black American women who did not like white people as a kid yes anyone can be racist. My parents were part of the Black Panter Party and told me all sorts of stories and pictures which made me not hate but would stay far away from whites as I could. I was still pretty young when I decided to see if white people were how my family describe them. It took a little but since my school didn't have a lot of whites or blacks. It took me little bit to be friends with white kids and see how their parents would wave to me. I was able to understand I was in the wrong. Have I had drinks thrown at me and called the N word. Yes but that is a reflection on thoses people not anyone else.
Just how I hate being put in the same category as black culture. I'm me I grow up being me an American that's all. I don't need anyone talking for me but myself.
May I ask how your parents responded to you making white friends? Im just curious how that went for you from that angle. I genuinely respect you speaking about your past, so candidly. I am White, and always hated hearing my father use words that he learned from his father. I was raised in California, so whatever a 40-something was spewing at the time, I heard it. I learned, like, 5 racial slurs before I was 10. Anyway, I never used them, and I never found any fun from poking at people for any reason; I was never good at jabs, too shy. I was friends with as many people who would be mine. There might have been a small window of time in the late 80s-early 90s when more than there now seem got along. As I grew, I saw what I saw. After a life lived, if there were one thing that I wish could have been different about the Black community, it would have been the introduction of gangsta rap in the 90s. Most of who I talk to will never stop liking the music style, nor should they, but do see how the genre has done more harm than good. To me, such flies in the face of what the BPP would have thought beneficial to the cause and its people.
I can appreciate any human being of any race,gender,etc that takes the time to do the work and actually form their own opinions, just as you described yourself doing.i myself learned that if you close out anyone especially based on certain characteristics all your doing is missing out on meeting good people,bad as well but the good ones make it worth it.thanks for being open minded and hopefully more people will learn to be so.

As a woman who has dealt with hirsiutism (including facial) all my life, and with extremely sensitive skin, hair removal was problematic (I gave up), this is extremely annoying.
