It was sick wasn't?! I've been thinking how I could recreate some of the choppage you showed me in Renoise, particularly the reverse snare trick! Can't wait for the next one 👀 :)
This track will definitely be an opener for my next atmo mix. Lovely atmosphere and crisp breaks. Big up to you and Groovin in G, you guys are amazing! ❤🔥
@@HumanSynthetics Yeah, i got it from your Bandcamp :) What a stellar tune! After realizing you only made it with limited samples and time, makes it even more amazing! I hope to see more releases from you in the future. P.S. I can send you the link to my mix when it's done :)
@@tripnotix yes please! I'll post it :) ahh thanks so much. Annoyingly I think the master bounce clipped off the very end, not sure how that happened (the version on bandcamp) but I expect you would've mixed out of the track before then. Oh you bet! I've got a bunch of stuff I've been wanting to put out for ages, other things just keep taking priority yk how it is. We've got another date in the diary to go head to head again, see if I can bring it again haha, it's always 50/50. But I've found that streaming consistently over the past year or so has really honed my skills in that area. I wasn't sure what the results of doing something like that would be, but having to make music 'in front' of people, helps you focus on what's important, especially if a time limit is involved too. Thanks again.
Thanks @J-Hz ! I've been looking again at Redux this morning. Maybe there's scope for some tracker stuff here too down the line. If not, definitely more jungle! Good to have you here and thanks for commenting. :)
Nice content! Been watch a lot of yout videos this week. I have a question, why do you warp your breaks unquantized before chopping if you quantize them in MIDI after? Just curious haha I tested this method and loved it, but the clicks and pops annoyed me a little bit.
Thanks Antonio - so essentially you're just chopping up the individual hits of the break (if I'm referring to the method I think you mean), then you just use the midi to resequence or reorder them. The midi is just the way to do that easily in order to dig into the edits. With the pops and clicks you can try adjusting the start and end points of each slice, it's fiddly and doesn't work seamlessly for every hit (not to mention breaks other than the amen) and sometimes the original audio might be a bit whack due to digital conversion. You can address that with DC offset in utility, but once you start resequencing the break you can usually work past the clicks by just avoiding using those slices. And a bit of sculpting the slices using adsr can help. Takes a bit of fine tuning but once you get there hopefully it's worth it! And hope that helps. Let me know if there's anything else and thanks again 😀🙌
Really enjoyed this! Looking forwards to the next one.✌

Sick! Did you grab it from Bandcamp? Drop me a line if you need it. That's great tho! Think it would make a good opener to set the scene.

@@HumanSynthetics Thank you so much for the tips! I'll try the DC Offset!
@@antonioantonioantonio no worries, let me know how you get on :)
Your not chopping them very well and if u do a great job, and still get pops. Just adjust the start finish lines or fade. Simple’s
