If you watch this race you might notice on racing reference they did not put Bobby Hamilton Jr.'s car on this list of cars involved, he clearly was it and also Brad Baker on the Fox broadcast was not listed he had damage in that too not Jason White I did not see him anywhere near the crash scene. and I don't know why Brian Vickers wasn't listed he got some damage too,
And back then, there was a rule that you could run a car up to 3 model years old. I was watching the race at Rockingham in 2004 a while ago and I saw a 2002 Chevy near the back of the pack during a crash replay. I don’t think it was the Carl Long wreck, but it may have been.
Wow this race was fucking garbage. Great coverage for a fucking terrible race. Single file car break away from the pack with little chance to pass the leader. Big wreck takes out 20 cars again. Little to no action for the lead with no one able to make a move on Jr, and that awful caution at the end. Plenty of time to restart the race & could've even red flagged it.
Lap 110 car spins dont hit nothing then keeps going nascar throws a caution. Years past and present cars flipping down the back/front no caution. Just shows nascar is never been consistent.
early 2000's fox races had such awesome intros and compilations. the johnny cash one in this was so cool. wish they still did these
Yes I would like to see these again. They don't do enough of this anymore.
The crash that Lyndon Amick quit mid race.
And that was the end of his NASCAR career.
I was at this race it stormed so much that morning I didnt think they would race.

LMFAOO
It's the Aaron's 312
This race took place on my 3rd birthday
Ah! Thank you very much!
Dumb question, but why did the Busch cars in 2003 run the 2002 body styles (for pontiacs and chevrolets) on restrictor plate races?
To not cost the team's more money for that year
I'm glad they did though cuz they look a lot cooler

So this got Tina Gordon into nascar Thunder 2004 😅
18:27 - Lydon Amick's crash he references that made him quit stock car racing. Brian Vickers runs him over.

NOBODY LIKE RED FLAGS

I was wanting that 8 out of fuel.
I wanted Nemechek to win

If he hadn't have slammed the brakes when he did, he could have ended up on his roof despite the roof flaps.
