i thought i knew all cheese but that? exploding arrows spread poison weapons poisoning effect? holy cow. that´s nuts. man that´s notz your ordinary cheese thats an asston of cheddar mate. kudos for finding that one!
Good job! I remember this fight in vanilla Baldurs Gate (5CD version) and it was a freakin nightmare! The kind of end boss fights which were truly the hardest fights in the game.
Yeah good job. I just fought him with solo monk, and I had to cheese something fierce with invis potions and luring individual members. It's simply not possible otherwise, when you can't use oils of speed or haste. I had -9 AC with potions (no armor since monk) and good thac0 and still couldn't fight sarevok at all without invis potions.
Oh, that 18 constitution shows you started on 17 with a non-fighter class ^^ )) what a n00b; otherwise, cool video! Optimally, you could take 15 starting con and get to 16 with the tome. To avoid having to put on that ring in BG2, max out charisma, you could be having 19 cha at this instance. 20 cha gives the most store benefits. I suppose you might have dualed to mage in BG2, obviously this was like 7 years ago.
Yeah, im noob but even a noob knows the only race can be dualed to another class are humans and my assassin is an Elf. My char continued to be an assassin in BG2. Check my other videos to see this assassin in BG2
@@OdivmNostrvm I can understand roleplay but you could decide y want to dual your thief and nothing stops you from using EE Keeper. On the other hand, pure assasin, interesting.
@@OdivmNostrvm on second thought, this playthrough as it stands.. amazing FUN! I might just be tempted to try using EE Keeper to turn human and dual in BG2, spells and scrolls are much more impactful and not so many items that can be abused. And as I said, this being 7 years ago, any combination had time to get done, there probably is no continuity about what was or wasn't.
Its from the assassin abilities (poison weapon). Blackguards (evil paladins) have the same ability. What most People don't know is that this ability can be used on ranged weapons too. You can therefore poison your arrows, throwing darts, bolts, bullets, etc. The main advantage being that it stops enemy mages from casting anything because of the tic damage on the poison. A Very strong ability.
So the only way to win is do cheese 🧀... Baldur Gate didn't have attack of opportunities, which with current gamers that is a big breach to break the old classic games
OK, so if you chose Safana portrait for your char, does it mean that you both have the same one in this gameplay? Or does her portrait change to an alternative one?
In my experience it's always swapped NPCs to an alternate, but idk how consistent it is between versions. My first playthrough was on the old 5-disc set and I used Ajantis's portrait, only to get super confused on my next playthrough when he looked like my old character haha

I still have this version, ~10 CD (BG+BG2+TotSC+ToB) but for me Sarevok was piece of cake, after all I visited him after TotSC :)
Is it dumb that more than once I tried hovering my mouse over Sarevok to check his HP... on a UA-cam video XD
no, that's how you know you're a real infinity engine fiend, haha
LOL
Amazing! I never thought of exploding arrows with the poison proc. Simply amazing. Good job!
Yes very smart play
I love that you kept the golden pants in your inventory!! Usually I keep them too or put them in a chest in nashkell tavern
That arrow shot EXPLODING POISONOUS FIRE

I was able to charm Sarevok with the nymph cloak first try... bruh

@Tuco holy hell, is it even possible to kill him in a more coward way?
How is this possible (exploding venomous arrow)?
Can someone explain?
THANKS ;)
its uh not from the arrow its from the abilities

Gabriel Maciel maybe he means on PS4 and Xbox
The EE's cinematics are a downgrade from the original game's. Yuck.
Bidonnage total, dans le vrai jeu tu te retrouves avec 4 ennemis sur le dos + Saverok en mode rapide lui aussi !!!!
