My top 5: 1. Mizuno GX Sonic V 2. Arena Carbon Flex Vx 3. Arena Carbon Pro 4. Speedo LZR Pure Intent 5. Arena Carbon Air It's shows that I'm a fan of arena hahahaha. My favourite is carbon flex because I swim IM, back and breast and it feels so good. I haven't tried the mizuno yet but if most of the top athletes wear it, it has to be good. My first one was a carbon pro which I've made a lot of PBs and that's the reason why it's 3rd. I don't know which one will be the next, who knows!! (Maybe an Arena Carbon Core FX Army Green hahahahaha)
My son loves the high-waisted Venzo for the 50 Free. He said the Mizuno GX Sonic IV ST was great for the 100 Free/100 Fly, but lost its water repellence after a couple races. He wants to try the Mizuno GX Sonic V to see if that issue has been improved(I think you may have said it is improved). Overall, he is still a Venzo guy!
The Mizuno does start to get wet but still performs amazingly if you don't let that play on your mind. But I love the Venzo as well so he's clearly got some great suits 👌

The LZR X would make less for distance. Something comfier like the LZR Elite (Pure Valor), TYR Avictor for Arena Carbon Air would make a lot more sense. But hey if you like it that's all that matters.

I love my Arena Carbon Flex VX. They were the first tech suit that I ever bought and they still do me well three years later. The Arena Australia website put out a promotion for the red/pink Carbon Pros, even though they had long been discontinued. Picked a pair up for $200AUD which was half price, can’t wait to try them, but they are heard to get on. Any thoughts on the Pros??
The pros are the bomb 🔥 I only didn't include them on this list because they are discontinued. If your a sprinter then you'll love then even more than the Flex.
From Instagram story : I would do a budget (sub £120)top five for children. At Number five the Speedo fastkins nice colour range but not hydrophobic but a decent suit considering the price and can be used as a training suit. At 4 I would have the Arena Powerskins ST/2.0 is Hydrophobic and is durable very good price considering.At 3 I would have Finis Fuse very large range of colours with hydrophobic material and some taping good suit and last quite a while and fits age groupers well. At 2/1 I would say the Arena carbon air or Speedo pure Valor these jammers amazing very light last a long time and are great for an range of events sprints to distance to IM
Nice list. I need to do a budget list of my own. The Carbon Air just so amazing considering there price now. Another great budget suit to check out is the Mizuno MX Sonic 02
TheSwimsuitGuy Yes I agree the MX Sonic is also a really good suit the list does on but it really depends on what you have tried and the target market 😂
The Carbon Core FX tries to do stuff that others on this list just do better (compression & hamstring taping). The Air on the other hand is a completely different type of suit and as I say in the video offers a lot of versatility and comfort. So should you like the Core FX you'd just be better off with a Mizuno or Pure Intent. Should you not like the Core FX (and probably not the Mizuno and Pure Intent) you'll probably love the Air. Should I be racing a 50 Free I would prefer the Core FX over the Air and the same goes for most sprint events. But I think the Airs dominance for 200+ (and even being great at 100s) got it a spot on the Top 5. Oh and the fact its almost £200 cheaper than the Core.

Got rival 2.0 few weeks ago, went for smaller size but it took me like full 30 minutes to get on instead of 30 seconds haha... anyway how come you put it behind air? In my opinion only edge air have over rival is lightness but i could be wrong tho...
Being higher on list didn't necessarily mean it's a directly better suit. More just with its price and versatility a better alternative. I was actually thinking of putting it higher. Obviously on my tier list Rival 2.0 is higher than Air.

My son loves the high-waisted Venzo for the 50 Free. He said the Mizuno GX Sonic IV ST was great for the 100 Free/100 Fly, but lost its water repellence after a couple races. So I know you hate the lzr x but I am a distance swimmer and have owned 6 different black lzr x's and loved them all

Train in them on quality sessions if you have spares. Each suit lasts different big you should hope for a season.
