We are miserable souls walking dead without Christ. Help us in this life Lord we are so poor and vulnerable in so many ways. If you take your grace away nothing pure in man will remain. Every thought, deed and wish of ours is ill motived. Save us from ourselves and our desires, and from satan, the loser. Help us realise our value in your eyes and be at peace as we await the crown of life.

We need all of our government leaders to hear this talk and pray they would be moved by the Holy Spirit - to start doing what is right and best for the people they are to serve (and ultimately to serve God!). Most of them worry more about getting (re)elected than to do God’s will in their positions of power. Let’s pray for our leaders to get to know God so they can do His Will! Look at a Lincoln penny, and reflect on the ugliness of the Civil War during the presidency of Abraham Lincoln, and meditate on the inscription on that lowly one cent coin - In God We Trust!!! These words happen to be there and on every US currency because it was the last official act that Lincoln signed into law (March 3, 1865) before he was assassinated (April 14, 1865). On March 30, 1863 he called on Congress to declare a day of fasting and prayer because the country, with all its wealth and power, had become self-sufficient and forgotten God! Let’s wake up our leaders with our sincere prayers for them to know, serve, love and trust God! 🙏🏻

Yes, Jesus is the only healer, and I also believe Jesus heals through the Physicans through medical professionals such as mental health providers. We can pray to Jesus for healing and also receive it, medical care, and treatments to assist in our recovery.
