The new Charms with the +1 Projectiles will solve the main issue with getting projectiles for this build, it will actually be even better since it doesn't require any janky passive point placements to get them online
Yeah this build has been around since 3.21 so its definitely doable without tattoos, the goal will to be mainly getting the + Projectiles back, I recommend going Pathfinder in the video so you can grab the Deadeye Endless Munitions Ascendancy to get some projectiles back and going for a +1 Soulrend Projectiles enchant on the helmet, the other thing would just be trying to cap out the spell suppress which can be done with other nodes on the tree and gear slots like the boots
The new Soulrend of Reaping and Soulrend of the Spiral could make some spicy builds, would need to see how they interact with Nimis but theres potential, stay tuned :)

for that investment build lacks very much on dps . and probably will be dead on 3.23 its nice because its off meta yes, and we all love cats but ggg shit on chaos skills and soul rend is one of em
Yeah it is a bit of a shame since even if we get our Soulrend to level 36, the damage just isn't comparable to some other non-chaos skills, think the main thing is we need a another way to scale chaos damage besides Wither since its almost mandatory in all chaos builds to grab

The build type already existed in 3.21, the tattoos just made the build a bit easier to gear and less reliant on getting projectiles from other sources/Ascendancies, you can make up for the removal of tattoos by going Pathfinder or Deadeye and grabbing the Endless Munitions for +2 and getting the Soulrend enchant for an additional +1

If you wanted to maximise cats you should have used Sire of Shards. :p
Also can put another +1 proj (or effect of flasks) tattoo near Charisma.
