I remember seeing the video for Somebody Told Me in like... early summer 2004 during Video Flow, Much had an "indie hit of the week" video slot and that was it, immediately liked it. Then they blew up a few months later and I felt proud of myself haha.
so would most rock bands to be honest. i dont care much though i'd rather listen to this than maria carey hitting every note there is just to show off.
i think it was more of the environment, there is NO audience whatsoever. its so awkward to try to "rockout" and perform at your best when noone is there. they did there best with was there. nervousness could have been a reason as well but i love it anyways :P new band, room for improvement, they sure did!

I'd still watch Much if Rick or other cool VJs were still on Much. Like Ed the sock, Bradford How, etc.
