Hey pal.. rats and mice are one of the most invasive critters in America. They carry diseases, destroy crops, destroy equipment, etc…. If you eat food, there probably was some sort of rodent prevention being used on the farm(either crop or livestock) except it was probably a poison form. Your existence has caused millions of invasive hogs, rats, mice, carp, etc.. to die. Unless you grow all your own food… which I guarantee you don’t..
David you have great channel! I don’t get people? They get hung up on a dog ratting….. Which is what it’s supposed to do… Pest control….. You even said in the video that you wanted Tux to “ kill the rat quick but to not make it suffer.” It’s not like you’re getting pleasure out of the rat dying but instead you’re teaching tux a life skill for pest control so the 🐀 don’t over run and ruin your property. If it was kittens then it would be something else entirely… that would be f***ed up. Your kids are learning too ….. Encouraging your pup to be a good ratter because rats and property are a bad fit? I remember when I was 5 and my dad killed a gopher with a galvanized pipe because it was destroying the front yard ( think caddy shack). That kind of stuff is just part of life? No different than swatting a house fly 🪰… Folks need to find a different GS channel if they’re squeamish about a puppy ratting….. Just saying. Great channel…. I really enjoy Tux. Keep up the good work.👍 P.s. if want a real ratting dog then you should check out a Patterdale terrier…. They’re straight serial killers when it comes to unwanted rodents…. I wouldn’t get one now with Tux being so young…. You’d have ADHD zoomies on steroids but when he’s older maybe that could be a good match…. Tons of UA-cam on them…. Your 🐀 problems would cease to exist.
Really well done. My Kerry Blue would make an excellent ratter but we don’t have too many vermin around.
