Wow that is some excellent footage of the Mahachai betta fry . Betta's of all breeds are absolutely beautiful. It's people like you that make this hobby extra fun. Thank you for sharing and keep up the good work. 😁👍
All of your pets seem so happy, you obviously care very much about them! Seeing your betta makes me want to try getting some myself. I already have the more common types and have always wanted more natural bettas, like you would find in the wild.
Thank you ^_^ the bett mahachai in my opinion is a good beginner wild as long as you get a captive bred fish. Some wild betta species are om their way to be becoming endangered so I recomend checking the C.A.R.E.S fish preservation program or RED list website to make sure you are not getting fish that are overcollected.
Bright and early and I’m loving this video and the editing keep it up!!!! Also stay safe !! I’m from Wisconsin and we have so much snow so I’m sure you have a lot of snow as well.
Also will you be doing a video of these wild betta and how much different they’re to the betta we are all familiar with and will you need to jar these as they grow older?
You are blessed to have such rare beautiful bettas I have a ways to go to get to your level of betta breeding. But I'm glad you're such an awesome youtuber/Person Please keep up with breeding exotic betta's
Hi!! creative pet keeping, I would like to know that what was the first feed that you have given to your mahachai fries immediately after their free swim? Becoz my fries couldn't consume any of the live food that I provide. All my fries dried and I used micro worm as my first feed. Can you provide me with a solution? Please!!..
They are really nice! Make sure to get a captive bred wild strain thats not endangered. Some of these fish are being overcollected in the wild which is sad.
For this spawn they did not, but previously might have. I had endlers in the tank as dither fish and either those did or the parents because of the presence of other fish. I haven't observed this tank as much as my other ones as they prefer to be left alone for the most part.
wow. they are beautiful. I am interested in keeping a pair of wild betta myself. A few questions. How big is the tank? and how long do u think you can keep the babies together with the mom? I assume at some point, young male will start fighting?
The tank is 10 gallons. Since this is my first time breeding them I am still getting a feel for how long I should keep them together before jarring. So far its a bit longer then with domestics.
I'm Thai. When I was a kid, I used to catch hundreds of them to cook at a time and I would pick 4-5 of the most beautiful ones to feed them, but now that's not the case anymore. because nature has changed and more and more chemicals.
I have some betta fry (Koi, Plakat, Dumbo-ear Hybrids) that were born back in June and they're about an inch long now. Is it possible to sex them at this age? P.S. Some are still really tiny.
Can u send me some fish programs like the one your in ? I’m really interesting in it and I been tryin to search for fish groups but I wanna join one that actual helps breed or save the population instead of talking about them and showing your fish to propel and selling

Hi!!! I'm from Puerto Rico, my name is Esteban, and I would like to know, how do you get those wild bettas? Ordering online or in a Pet Store?
Omg the cuteness. Did anyone else notice the different stripes across the front of the faces. I seen an smiley, grumpy and a mustached face so far.

Nice work as always, Kasia. They're stunning.
Very Foo The Flowerhorn-esque. Great change of pace from your normal videos and absolutely stunning fish!
I was inspired by his channel ^_^ I think its sometimes nice to enjoy the fish to some relaxing music.
Beautiful little fish. Colors are gorgeous!

They are so beautiful and healthy looking. That blue gill dot is very attractive. He is a handsome boy
Thank you, I can wait till they start to color up to see if I have blues or greens ^_^

We have some snow now but ita not too bad..I wonder if we will get any more over the week.
Also will you be doing a video of these wild betta and how much different they’re to the betta we are all familiar with and will you need to jar these as they grow older?
I definitely need to do a comparison video in the future..thats a great idea! When they get bigger they will have to be jarred as well.
@@CreativePetKeeping do you have these available now? would be very interested.
Thanks!
Babies. Love babies.
So cute! I love baby fish. They look very happy and content. 💙
AWWWW SUCH CUTE BABIES!!!!!

I really love them! I want a wild type betta to be my next betta. I just love their natural beauty and the nature style tanks that they love.

Hey. Can you guide this breed breeding? And what is the feed of fry? Please!
Beautiful natural scape.
They are beautiful ..Kasia...do they eat their frys...

Congratulations!!
hi, can u do a video on betta Mahachai, like how to identify male and female etc. thanks..
woah, i’m now obsessed with wild type betta fish. do you know how a few females would do in a sorority type setup?
I'm fairly new to wilds so I actually don't know.. I do know there is one type that can be kept in groups..I forgot the name though.
Probably the same as any other Bettas
I have a 15 gallon tank with 4 wild males and 8 females all swimming in ✌
nice..
How much old these fries? I have one week of fries with me. They were tiny than the other ordinary fries. I am giving hatched artemia now.
very Nice
Why my fish is so small my fish nearly 1 month

They look like sparkling gourami's! ( i know its the ssme family but still xD)
Out of curiosity, how old were they in this video? Mine seem to be growing suppperrrrr sloooowwwwwww
Aww I cant wait till they get older!! 😁

They are so cute!! and they almost look the same as my croaking gourami.
I've never seen those but since they are both labyrinth fish it makes sense they would have similarities. I'm going to look them up.
Hi there I’m from GA and I’m looking to buy mahachai. Do you have for sale?
I am more into breeding regular betta crowntails myself but these look awesome
Are you going to sell the babies Kasia?
I think so, but it they still need a few more months to grow bigger.
Will you be selling them? I have a wild imbellis pair I’m trying to breed.
Eventually I would like to locally sell them. Maybe I'll ship a pair or two..not sure.
Hello! I have a pair I would love to breed mine, did you wrap or cover your tank at all? Also did you just let them do their own thing?
For spawning I did cover the tank to increase the humidity and trigger spawning. I removed them for a bit and then reintroduced them.
Thanks so much! I have them set up now. I have the temperature at 80 F hopefully that’s warm enough
@@johnnyp4416 I noticed that wilds like a cooler temp. I would drop it to maybe 78F I spawned mine at 76 actually
Thank you so much. I appreciate you. I’m excited to your fry grow!
Are u gonna sell them
3:00 IT HAD A LIL SMILE
If you decide to sell and ship let me know! I would love to keep these again. Thanks for sharing 🐟
I think I might sell half locally and half online.. I haven't figured out what I will do but I definitely want to spread them around the hobby ^_^
@@CreativePetKeeping Let me know! Would love to get some from you!
I would be interested in them as well!
