So evidence suggests that some season ticket holders buy them exclusively to later sell them above the price they originally paid, like a stock trader. The more successful the team, the higher the price as the season progresses. You wouldn't even need to live in the region, or ever plan to attend a single game.
As someone that has worked in the industry this happens all the time and you don't know if those tickets were season ticket held as many stadiums always keep tickets seats available for many reasons. Behind the Minnesota bench makes sense as the Vikings probably don't want hecklers right on top of them and as well family and friends of the team. This is really a non story/issue.

If you have 78,000 tickets. Sold 1,900 to Minnesota. That leaves 76,100 tickets. My point was that is not a big percentage of fans for Minnesota. Which would be under 3% of the stadium will be Minnesota fans. How youever came up with 190,00 is rma joke. Don't use the little % I was off as a way out. IF the Lions wanted to the could BANNED all VIKING Jersey in the Stadium. This is done in other stadiums around the pro leagues. They do not allow other teams jersey in their stadium, that are rivals to that team.
I think the NFL would have problems with banning someone for wearing the wrong expensive authorized merchandise. It smacks of bad business and poor sportsmanship. Plus, Lion fans probably enjoy wearing their stuff to Minnesota and payback is a b*tch.

It backfired big time. Vikings got cheap, they should have included gas, or airfare, hotel + free tickets. Its a 700 mile trip from Minn to Detroit what were they thinking? Of course their own fans would turn on them and resell the tickets to Lions fans to make a buck. Bad Karma move and they got bit to the tune of 31-9 beatdown. Jefferson only 54 yards shut down.
Darnold looked terrible. In case you guys did not realize but Lions are #1 seed and they get a Bye. We can sit back and watch the first round of NFL enjoying the Bye and healing up.
