Adding to the issues confronting CRE: it is estimated that 20% of the current office inventory is obsolete lacking the infrastructure to meet the needs of today’s companies.
Office spaces account for 12% of the CRE market though. The rest are actually doing very well for the most part.

The oil market doesn't work that way. The spot market is driven by refineries adjusting inventories to meet regional demand. Oil pricing is a nation to nation deal. Once an oil deal has been agreed upon the mandates are designated to execute the deal. None of that goes through the commodity market

Everyone soley overly dependent on solar and battery backup are going to be SOL if the US, NATO, confrontations against Russia, China, N Korea, Israel result in nuclear wars. Solar panels won't produce much energy with global masses of clouds littering the skies. In the same manner, moderate to heavy cloud seeding to supposedly fight global warming, results in reducing my solar panel production on some days anywhere between 20% to 40%. Significantly reduced solar panel energy production obviously results in solar panel systems charging battery backup systems alot less than expected. Otherwise, people with EV's will be dead in the water without electricity to charge their vehicles in grid down scenarios.
Well, of course, fewer crude ships are going to China. It all goes via pipeline direct from the supplier, Russia. Don't worry. Take a pill and relax. 🙂 I suspect you'll find the EU is importing more then ever..... at much higher prices. And how you expect the American consumer to spend when they have a huge Government driven debt tagged on each person - over $130,000 last time I looked. Reality time coming.
