Jay thanks for having us! This was a real pee your pants scare house tour. Fantastic place and nice to see people still know how to scare without constant gore! This is the real deal!
Thank you so much. I’m happy you enjoyed it.
WHAT?! You came and visited my haunt and I didn’t know?! Omg!!
Sorry I missed ya!
I LOVE how you fully embrace each 'haunt"! The way you entract with the people and your " Whooo Hooo".. Absolutely why I keep coming back. And seeing these places I/w can't go to.. its GREAT!
Thank you! That means a lot to me. Glad you enjoy my journeys through the haunted houses! Haunts on, my friend!
This guy is living a real life “The Houses October built”
Again with the awesome!!! Can’t wait for the next one 👻
That may be the best haunt video I've seen all spooky season. Love your videos man.
Thank you Jason
Dude you are seriously the man! Instant thumbs 👍 looking forward to this one, much ahead!
Thank you’
Great experience for you, and us watching!
Thanks for the video
As always, much ahead....you always entertain.Thanks Jay!!!!❤
Spooky season is the best! Keep up the great work!
Thank you
Thrillvania looks awesome
There used to be a dragon on the top of the house that would shoot fire into the sky. You could see it from the highway!!💚🖤💀😱🎃👻🌚🧟♀️🧛🏻♀️👽🧡
There was never a dragon on top. Just a flame thrower smh
@@mikepeace6694 Ok. I remember the flames. Must be confusing that with another haunt. It was 30 years ago, for God’s sake... 🙄
I heard they couldn't find someone to do The flames
@@mrmortem333during this video you can here the flames at times.
When I was in HS, I volunteered there many times. Doing the pyro on the roof was always my favorite. I only got to operate that part a handful of times. One of my best friends was married at the Verdun, on the balcony, and walked “down” the “aisle” to Sally’s Song from NBC. They had a haunted hay ride when I was a volunteer. I was a zombie for that one. It’s awesome that it’s still going after all these years, and now I can take my son to experience it and build memories that connect past with present. 🎃👻
Excellent, I do agree I did like the scare with the dummy down the Hall you don't see that a lot. Once again excellent video take care.
The Wildd Wildd Westt! Everything is scarier in Texas! As always thx 4 taking us all along on your spooky adventure
Thank you Cindy
Found myself having to check MY britches while watching this one! With all you’ve shown us this season…you are truly the reigning and undisputed Haunt King👍🏼👍🏼
Enjoyed that!
Always wanted to see this place. Thanks for the video bro
Mornin Jay!!!! Saturday Morning CREATURE FEATURE!!!!
Morning Lee
Funny thing is I have talked to one of the actors from Verdun Manor online that is one of the werewolves there, very nice guy, awesome werewolf costumes they use by far the best I have seen
Dude, your videos of these awesome haunts never ceases to amaze me! Keep up the amazing work dude!
Thanks dude!
What Lance Pope began is still going strong to this day and i can't thank his successors enough for keeping his legacy going strong to this day! Shout out to Lord Verdun+Lady Cassandra a Happy Halloween!
who are you Alex? Lance made my werewolf costume. I worked for him for 12 or so years before he passed. He was a good man and created something special. It definitely still has that Verdun Manor vibe. Mike and them do a really good job.
@@groguwolf9321 They sure did, glad you got to be part of something amazing in the haunt industry!
@@alexgeorge501 did you work behind the scenes at all? I'll be sculpting a new werewolf mask this year and using the same fur company lance did. He used the best company out that Hollywood uses for movies like Harry and the Hendersons, Chewbacca in Star Wars and so on. It's pretty pricey but worth every penny. The Pumpkin Head they used in the House was pulled from the same mold as the one used in the actual movie. Lances production was top of the line and when Verdun was full of his custom handmade props was to me the best it's ever been. It was all his art and it made it so unique. I wish he could see what I'm going to make this year. I'd never do it if it weren't from what he taught me.
@@groguwolf9321 i don't really work behind the scenes, i just know the stuff that goes on "behind the scenes" like a movie trivia buff or similar person. Great props to you guys and everyone else that made Verdun the scariest place in Texas!
The chainsaw people at my haunt are my favorite people. Honestly. And the scare actors right next to my area because we interact with each other and not just do our own separate scares. Also, that last house looks amazing!!🤩🤩
another really awesome haunt! the haunted house was the best one! going through that long tunnel on the trail was pretty intense too.
Thank you
The story of Verdun is a cool one. Dr. Verdun began experimenting with creating human/animal hybrid creatures. The experiment went horribly wrong and the creatures took over, going on a murderous rampage. Verdun even experimented on himself, turning into a hideous wolf/human hybrid. Such a cool place. 🖤💚💀👻😱🎃🧟♀️🌚👽🧡🧛🏻♀️
and then he met his vampire wife Lady Cassandra and together they killed Vincent Cruthers after he inherited the manor from Verdun
@@alexgeorge501 YES!! Forgot about that part!! I wish more haunts put stories into the theme of their attraction. Makes it so much more interesting. 💀💚🖤😱🎃🌚🧟♀️🧛🏻♀️👽🧡👻
@@waterhorse5199there is one called hells gate
Hi, Jay!! Welcome to my neighborhood!!! I was 16 years old when I first visited the ORIGINAL Verdun Manor haunt. It was great. Been a long time. Thanks for the nostalgia!! 💚🖤💀😱🎃👻🌚🧟♀️🧛🏻♀️👽🧡
Thrillvania always follows 4 key rules to a haunted attraction:
1-Erie Atmosphere (makes the guest feel like something ore someone is gonna pop out at them, but they never know who or what)
2-Surprise (pop-outs that come too close to your personal space)
3-Horrible stuff (Associate people they want nothing to do with because it's just too gross)
4-Terrorize (make the guests think they're in danger of loosing their lives)
@@alexgeorge501 When I went in 1995 (good lord I’m ancient), the maze was more terrifying in my opinion than the house itself. I remember to this day, a character popped out from behind a wall in a bloody animal costume hitting the wall with a bone. I nearly peed my pants. 😂
@@waterhorse5199 you must of had a good time getting scared back then!
@@alexgeorge501 I did!! Was with my best friends. First haunt I ever went to!! 💀💚🖤🎃😱🌚🧟♀️👻🧛🏻♀️👽🧡
That's a good one dude welcome to Texas Dude

The actor with the long hair at the end in the cabin was great

We enjoyed your visit 😈
Thank you!!
Yet another fun episode, Jay! Besides the local Halloween feature, my wife and I ran into you at Buc-ee's that afternoon and had the pleasure of saying hello and taking a pic together. I do hope Cris enjoyed her beaver goodies! Again, very nice meeting you, kind sir! Stay safe in your travels. 🕷🕸🎃
Thank you
With that kind of music definitely feels like a club 8:00
This was the very first highly themed “top shelf” haunt I ever attended and that was back in maybe 1995 or 1996. It was a big factor in my decisions to pursue being a haunt owner as a career. Even then, the show was special. I can only imagine what it’s like now and I will now get a sneak peak. I’m not sure I’ve seen a walk through, thanks for sharing.
The Dust don't sit on TJ sharing all these great haunted houses and getting all of us these great Haunted trails to view.
this hause i love it for scares 🎃🎃🎃
That 3D place looked amazing whole thing looked creepy 🎃much ➡️
I grew up near there and I remember you could see the flames from the Verdun Haunted manor( I remember the fire jets being by the house) from the highway which always meant it was Halloween time! Unfortunately, I never got to go through the haunted houses so this video is a real treat.
wow what haunt i went to my local farm haunts last night had such blast this looks really scary
I will admit that your videos put a smile on my face.
Good to hear this comment… Put a smile on my face. Thank you for watching.
❤❤❤❤️❤️😍😍😍😍😍
Whenever you get a chance come to Netherworld haunted House Atlanta
13th Gate by far is still the best that I’ve seen on your videos this season. Have you gone to Frightworld in Buffalo, NY. It is really Good! Better than most the haunts you live been to on here.
Clowns really freak me out but that is dope
All my xe,s..live in Texas...thanks Jay 😊
That’s why I hang my hat in Tampa!
the way you said TerrELL. ouch lol. It's TERRell. You better hope Jamie Foxx doesn't hear you say it that way lol
TERRell like TEARell? I don’t want problems with Jamie Foxx!! 🤣😁
The whispering is new and MUCH BETTER-super disturbing!! I hate all the yelling and just screaming crap in your face
@@shamrockinit8747 tear like tearing paper and not tear like crying tears, yes.
@@Savagemister thank you!!!!
The little details about Terrell and texas im picking up like the train noises representing the train going through the area before you went in the haunted area. The bullfigher in ine of the houses represents the spanish and later mexican bullfighters. Maybe some of them came to texas. Its the little details that for me, make this house unique. Chainsaws into the chainsaw massacre.
I'm in Minnesota but my late bf who passed away was from texas so texas has a place in my heart. Thank you for filmng this and to the staff who made this haunt special see you in the future! This I definitely want to check out! Thanks all anna
Come down to terror trails in yantis Tx
Hey Jay! What up?
This is my backyard
This and the 13th Gate are my favorites so far that I’ve seen for being the most scary.
Both terrifying! Thanks for watching!
The only thing scarier for me than this is the tampa bay rays! Im a twins and horror fan in mn. Omg, the clowns.i love the use of the train noise too as they are by where trains are.
Haha fair enough
Rule one of haunted houses assume everything is real.
There used to be a pre show with granny lupus
That beat tho
Howdy Tampa! 😂
Hey buddy!
IIt was awesome
Thank you
4th tunnel this week but like the 10th 3D clown house.
Are you going to be checking out 13th Floor in San Antonio?
Only in town for two days. I wish I had a chance to drive down there need to get to San Antonio one of the seasons.
Next year come up to Ohio and I'll take you to Land of Illusion and Kings Island's Haunt
hi Jay the Texas chain saw mascara is based on a true story
Does anyone know how long it takes to go through the haunts here? We are thinking about a 3 hour trip to go here and would like to know if it’s worth it.
Used to be in the state fair before It went to the present location
That’s really cool!
Still in Texas? Like iron maiden ? Juda sprocket heavy metal music .
Hey I wint THRILLVANIA haunted house last year
Jay you are close swing on up to Lubbock and go see Wes and the crew at nightmare on 19th street.
What time do they close tonight?
@@TampaJay 11 pm
Wish the seance show was still a thing.
i’m going here tonight
Please tell them I said hello
Have fun
Please come back next year so I have a chance to scare you!!
Glad we could scare you hopefully we see you soon 👹😈
Thanks for the good scares
For paying for parking there should be more jump out people.
why didn’t u use the 3d glasses
It’s very difficult to film a video while looking through 3-D glasses
these houses are great and all...but you want the ultimate scare..how about an app you find on line, and the app is a site where you get an application for a card, on that card if you get it, is a location, and a time to be there, you get the card in the mail, look at the card for location, and time to show up, you go out to said location, as specified, and when you show up, there is just this field out in the middle of no where, you have to walk a bit down a very dark road, and finally get to this abandoned house, an old looking place, no other cars are there, and you wonder WHAT THE HECK..what is this, but if you dare you keep going....or do you...that would be the ultimate haunted attraction, the unknown is always scarier.
You need to go to the San Antonio Riverwalk and take your soon to be wife.
Can’t wait to explore San Antonio
By the way Terrell is Jamie Fox's hometown
That’s so cool I had no idea
first
Not Tuh-rell. Tear-ull
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂.Hope you survive.
It aint "turell" its pronounced Terrull
Sorry, but the only thing that is scary in TX is my ex wife! 😂
So do you hang your hat in Tennessee?
No. Your neck of the woods. About 90 minutes North of Tampa 😎👊🏻
The Houses that October built is dope. That long wooden hallway was insane! For sure going to hit this spot up when I back to Texas.
