#GranTurismo7 #GT7 #GranTurismo - Ігри
Car: Lamborghini Murcielago LP640
Time of a day: 11AM (GT6), 7:30AM (GT7 - dynamic time)
Track length: 3601m (GT6) vs ~4200m (GT7)
Thank you, I was trying to figure out what car it was.
How is it possible that the track is bigger in gt7?
@Zenbonzakura It's simpe, watch video from 1:11 and you will see completely new last sector in GT7.
Looks like the steeringwheel is a little to much in vision?
MotorgamestTV, how are you able to play gt7 when its not released yet and compairing it to gt6
The trees don’t over hang the track as much as the older version. Deep forest doesn’t feel like a deep forest without the shadows. I guess they should call it De-Forest raceway lol
Exactly! Well said.
Ugh, it's because of FiA licensing, safety on real tracks would prevent trees overhanging the course life they were in the original course. PD makes all their courses FIA compliant, so they can use them all in FIA sponsored races online. I mean why do the partnership and have a bunch of useless courses that can't be used. They been at this since GT Academy was a thing and they had to hold La Sarthe due to it failing FIA compliance check. I forgot the course, but there was a story on it back on GTP years ago when GT Academy really got busy. Dunno why FIA acting weird with a game, but watching F1 your swear something wrong with their "unbiased" rulings. 🙄😒
@@evilformerlys4704 It's not though, the FIA literally said in an interview they had no influence over original tracks whatsoever. And we have Tokyo Expressway, Alsace Village, 90 degree perpendicular walls right on the edge of corner exits on Gardens II...
FIA also had nothing to do with GT Academy. Any issue regarding using Le Mans in a competitive setting would be a licensing issue (I organize simracing races professionally, and been told we couldn't use it because of a contract with iRacing regarding its use in esport events).
GT1 will show you some dark shadows in deep forest lol. I guess they just deforested the track over time.
The dense forest is for the future ps5 pro ;)
The head bobbing adds a lot to the realism in GT7. Actually liking it.
I don't think that's in the game. This looks like an off screen recording with stabilization
The movement is from the stabilization
@@HugoStiglitz88 i don't have high expectation but i hope they'll do, they just released a gameplay trailer with a head bobbing feature so a lot of people definitely gonna expect them in the game
@@HugoStiglitz88 So Playstation released off-screen recordings of their game? Nah, it’s just realistic head bob from the unevenness of the track. Your car’s suspension isn’t going to dampen every single bump, therefor you will move around. It’s realistic and 100% intentional, not just an aftereffect made by the uploader like you claim. (Unless I’m misunderstanding what you wrote?)
@@HugoStiglitz88 That is a very dumb thing to say
@@HugoStiglitz88 the ui is obviously stationary, it would’ve moved as well if it were the case
The final part after the tunnel was my favorite in GT6. Kinda sad that they got rid of it.
Also would have prefered to keep the forest density from GT6, It's DEEP FOREST Raceway.
Yes.. I'll miss the old one.. I hope the have and option for the classic versions of track they redid.. 😢
I agree, it doesn't feel very foresty
For sure. Wish they would do 1:1 recreations. Maybe even from GT3.
they also missed the sort of cliff at the left when entering the tunnels, man it was the best just climbing up a mountain and seeing the deep forest landscapes
what a series gran turismo 😭
Global Warming is a bish
I see PD took a page out of Hockemheimring, its alright and all, but im with the folks here, shouldve kept the tree density from 6.
Now that I think about it, yeah, that super sharp corner in Hockenheim sure is a spectacle! Didn't realize that it's pasted into Deep Forest Raceway until you mentioned it.
It's gonna be a mad dash for the W I cant wait.
I agree on the tree density, no more trees overreaching over the track. It's call deep forest for a reason
Hockemheimring track I hate and I am 2 generation American from my mom side her parents are German
It's amazing how much sounds have improved in this series
can’t say that about forza
GT: from quantaty to quality
Forza: the opposite
@@spiyder did you even tried ??
FH5 sounds are dope right now
You probably don't know, but the developers of GT6 PROMISED new sounds and never fulfilled that promise. Just like the cut down VisionGT in GT6, the black cockpits in the standard cars and the brazenly disabled online when tens of thousands of PS3 owners were playing
@@sweetrushentertainment2524 think they mean motorsport, the sounds are awful in that game
That new interior for GT7 looks amazing! Way more dynamic and not static.
Yeah in GT SPORT was hella static
@S. this is actual gameplay
@S. GT7 replay has RT reflections on car bodies as confirmed by Polyphony digital but I can't see any RT reflections in this footage, means it's gameplay
@S. I know, but this is GT7, not GT sports, is it really that hard to believe that they would add new things in GT7??
@S. thanks
Holy shit the Lamborghini V12 sounds beautiful!
Sounds are way better and I like the cockpit moving, I just hope it will have great force feedback, that was lacking in GT Sport.
Yeah, i hope the tires aren’t as dependent too, like theres a solid 5-7 second gap between racing hards to soft, there should only be like 1-3 seconds difference between compounds and i hope RSS tires aren’t like super glue either and you can actually make the car move on the limit instead of feeling like ‘who can be smoothest on the wheel is the best’ just watch vettel drive that street ferrari and how much he saws at the wheel to keep the car tamed, then look at an f1 car, yes it has literal tones of downforce and slicks but it still slides on the limit like Carlos Sainz in qualifying in Saudi Arabia. Looking forward to the game tho!!!
Did you not set the force feedback settings? If you don't or if you have either of them too high, the ffb was terrible. If you do, it's really great. Better than Assetto Corsa Competitizione, pcars 1/2/3 but not better than Assetto Corsa or rfactor 2
To be fair though, I've never played it with a Logitech wheel but on a t300 it's excellent
GT sport has some of the best FFB wtf, keep the settings low for the most detail.
WTF ? FFB in GT SPORT is fantastic.
get a Fanatec Podium wheel base it is absolutely the best/accurate FFB there is!
I wish they have left the final turn after the second tunnel, it was a cool place to do overtakes.
They will probably have different layouts for each track like GT Sport.
@@UNPOCOLOCO444 Approaching the corner there's no visual ahead to suggest the old corner is an option. Its grassy bankings and seating where the corner used to be.
@@littleinkling4604 oic. Well that's too bad then.
@@sluttyboy69 nonsense, Deep Forest is a fictional track, it probably has lot's of inspirations but that's as far as it goes
@@sluttyboy69 sure they did that for real tracks, but it's not possible to do that for a track that doesn't exist in real life
The old track looks better to me. I still play GT6, shame they cut off the servers. The new track is also not as undulating to my eye. That's the fun of that circuit; the weight transfer over the crested & dipping S-bends under the tree canopy. And that revised end sector doesn't flow as well. I fear they've ruined it
Completely agree. Everything that was great about Deep Forest has been taken away. They've destroyed it. Might as well have not brought it back.
@@Sidewinder1999 they just brought it back for the name but i really wished they would make it as magical and good looking like I remember from my childhood
@@Sidewinder1999 complain, complain, and more crying.
Man that lightning system looks amazing, the way light bounces inside the cockpit and on tunnels, the fidelity of reflections on other cars, I'm not sure if we really need ray-tracing!
The lighting even in GT Sport is unbelievable. Makes Forza Horizon 5 look bad frankly.
Horizon 5 is an open world game.
Stupid comparison.
For me that's not a real gameplay because on this video you can see ray-tracing effects.
It's a replay for sure.

Ok, I always thought GT6 looked amazing but I never imagined GT7 to be LEAGUES UPON LEAGUES better looking than its direct predecessor. I am blown away
The games are 7 years and 2 generations apart. What did you expect?
@@DemonLordGamingAC0 exactly this, what else? did you expect the graphics to get worse?
@@spiyder Before better graphics I expect a better physics model (don't tell me jumping around in the cockpit is it) an actual damage model that is at least better than GT5, dynamic weather and time, like the predecessor had, and better gameplay. So far all I see is better graphics and sounds.
GT6 looks alot worse on youtube though.
It's impressive given it's running on the PS3. PD showed how much they pushed the console the best they could.
The graphics and lighting look great in the new game, but they've destroyed Deep Forest. The only reason to bring back classic tracks is for the nostalgia and memories - if you completely change the track it defeats the purpose. The loss of elevation change in the middle of the lap is sad, the removal of the overhanging trees takes away the "Deep Forest" feeling, and the removal of the fast left handers after the final tunnel is a tragedy. Why would you get rid of those amazing fast corners and replace them with a boring hairpin? If this is what they do to classic GT tracks, I hope they don't bring back any more.
i dont even want to think what they will do to autumn ring 😭😭😭😭😭 so many memories with hot hatchbacks like the vitz and others
It's their creation, what do you mean destroyed? Lol WTF, gamers start taking ownership of things they didn't create. The creators decided to change it due to FiA licensing and all courses have to be meet safety standards, even the made up ones, because I'm pretty sure they'd not be allowed to be used in official FIA races in the game if they weren't. You haven't even driven the course yet, but the complaints are already flying high. 🙄😒🤦
@@evilformerlys4704 Butt-hurt much, fan-boy? I'm entitled to my view. As for FIA safety standards, what on earth are you talking about? You're "pretty sure"? It's a game kid, nobody is actually going to get hurt..
@@Sidewinder1999 this guy is nuts lol wtf FIA standards this is a polyphony gran turismo game, not real life 😂
Hey as long as they don't fuck up Trial Mountain
The removal of those last turns is a game changer. And in a bad way. I used to have hundreds of laps on this track trialing lemans cars. What was the thought process to make the new version more sterile and race tracky. It just seems too safe. The loss of elevation change form 0:57 to 1:15 is a sad too
The undulations have gone. Shite
Lots of details lost too like the big concrete next to the curbs on all that section from the first corner to the part you mentioned. the overcast trees and shadows have gone too, looks far too plain it has lost it's character I'd argue the older games have more atmosphere, they could have just widened the track instead of taking features out to cater fro GT Sport online
I love GT sport but if you can't deal with them things in a race then you shouldn't be playing it
@@wayneg85 it doesnt feel like you are high up a mountain which is sad
There will be multiple versions of this track most likely, with chicane changes and possibly or more true version of the original track.
@@tempestsquall5882 I sure hope so
GT6 is just so incredibly good and holds up so well even in current day. That's says a lot about when you take into account it's a 7th gen console game, and showcases PD's ability to just use up every resource a Sony console has. I've been playing GT6 on a Nostalgia trip these days in between breaks from GT Sport's campaign and I was pleased to see the graphics were not substantially painful when you compare other gen 8-9 games to gen 7.

Really like the improvements across the board on the cockpit view, much better than the static GT Sport cam!
I just really hope we can have a proper FOV adjustment for GT7.
Why would you want fov adjustment? That would ruin it wtf
@@pikey5449 FOV adjustments in cockpit cameras becomes a necessity to not warp your vision with a wider FOV, it's to actually make it match your eyes.
No, I'm not talking the FPS 120FOV TRICKSHOT kinda stuff. I'm talking about a calculated FOV that measures the distance between your eyes, your screen based on your screen size - giving you a resulting FOV that tries to approximate the distance of the screen objects to a more realistic perspective on your eyes.
Just an example: I use a 54 Horizontal Fov in my sim rig - way narrower than most arcade games would ever think.
@@Gamebit257 oh I see my bad, I thought you were one of them 120hz trick shot kids 😂
@@pikey5449 No, no, no. LMAO.
Yeah, maybe I wasn't that clear in my comment, but yeah.
I play a lot of sims: AC, ACC, AMS2, Raceroom - but I always have a special place in my heart for games like GT and Forza.
The thing is that GT can learn a lot from these sims to improve the overall experience, and a FOV adjustment goes a long way to actually improve your driving, as the object distance on-screen becomes much more realistic and accurate and you become more consistent
Search for "Empty Box - How to setup FOV" to actually learn why all of this matters.

Back in the day we thought GT6 looked identical to real life... ahh good times...

I like the changes. But I do wish they would have the option to run the old layout of the tracks. Like how in GT4 they had the 80's, 90's and 2005 layout of Fuji Speedway.

Deep forest felt more deep in the forest in older titles its so nostalgic.
Sound is better. Lighting is better. Graphic models marginally improved.
It seems that Deep Forest isn't as deep as it was. Not a bad thing. Brings fresh air into the game with the new engine ect.

Gran turismo 7’s Murcielago has GOT to be one of the most realistic sounding murci out of any other game
The car interiors and lighting effects are a literal night and day difference. I only drive in 3rd person, but the inside looks great nonetheless lol
Seems the forest part of Deep Forest got downgraded. Not really the same without that signature tree canopy.
I'm not a fan of the new layout, specially the new hairpin corner, cuts all the speed you were building before entering the finish line of the track. Hopefully they fix it, since there is some backlash. And how can you call it if there are not enough trees?
Man I dont know. I think they might have changed the course a little too much. I'm not getting that nostalgic feeling that I got with the new trial mountain. I had to watch this comparison just to remember the old course.
The vibe is completely different. Honestly this is more like a remake/new track completely vaguely inspired by the old deep forest. Even with trial mountain the vibe isn’t as similar. But hopefully it is a good track. I just don’t feel that it captures the old style in the same way.
thank fia regulations for that, and also some other things.
Theres not enough trees.
@@Mycroch Even simply the tree species is different.
I hope they remove all the pop-in on the trees since it's a closed circuit racing game and fix the screaming tires sound. The tires sound is better on GT6.

Damn they hit the sound of the V12, so beautiful
the minibus going over the bridge was a nice addition at 1:47
This dynamic in the cockpit looks good and the car sound sounds right. But could be a little better. The best example would be Dirt Rally 2 or Project Cars. In addition, the weather effects and light dynamics as a bonus from Driveclub and I would be happy.
Why remaking a track if you change the turns? I just hope this is like a A or B version of it
I don't know, the asphalt is to clean on 7 where is the tire marks, the shadow areas below the trees are too bright, the trees colors looks cartoony.
The track details like the concrete next to the curbs, overcasting trees and shadows are better and more atmospheric on GT6, they have made GT7's version look quite plain it's lost it's character
I prefer GT6's version
I see there's quite a difference on the old and the new one. The new one has a better flowing corners but the old ones is a lot more thrilling due to its massive elevation changes compared to the new one. And it's a lot more open which defines the name of "Deep Forest Raceway" (or probably not since the second sector does feel like inside of a forest much like the nuburgring). But it's a welcoming return to kick off the nostalgia feeling into it. Appreciate your comparison
This is just what I needed. a side by side comparison.
So glad I'm not the only one who is fairly dissapointed in the changes made. Deep Forest was my favorite original track.
GT7 version completely missed the mark. I hope they re-render a new one that actually looks like Deep Forest before release next year.
If you completely change the track isnt Deep Forest anymore. And why they removed the overhanging Trees too?!
Love the sound of the Aston Martin as it races alongside.
GT7 looks much better. Lighting, colour. The trees and terrain look more natural in their layout. Definitely prefer it overall.

The glow in gear indicator light is exagerated. Hope we have options to turn this cam movement off and better seat positon adjustments (height, distance, pitch, FOV).

There's a thing to say. On this video gt7, that's a replay of a gameplay because in game, there no will be ray-tracing. Rt will be only with replay, garage and photo. Not in game.
The car bounces more in 7, better physics?
Only just getting around to 6, I was considering just going straight to 7. Not sure if it’s worth the £60 as I have barely started 6. Really torn before I get too involved.
Tbh, I feel like the new track has loss its characteristics compared to the old layout. The corners are a lot flatter and has less elevation changes. I'm excited for GT7 but i am not sure how I feel about this new layout.
Yeah I agree with you, but I see that this new layout is more suited for racing and more real like if it was an actual circuit. Gran Turismo has an agreement with the FIA (Governing body of motorsport) and they dictate changes to tracks in GT, which is why they are changing some tracks.
It did seem that way given in the old version when rising over the crests it appeared to make the car more unsettled and loose at the rear etc so was an enjoyable challenge to keep it under control. Perhaps the disparity was more to do with the car choice in each and maybe their tweaking the dynamics (TCS / EPS etc)?
