Absolutely LOVE this. These referees have come up through the ranks and all the development programs and it shows! The NHL needs to get a clue instead of thinking former players make better officials!!
It's a bit of a challenge, because the key component to refereeing at a high level is being able to skate well enough to keep up - very few non-pro players are going to have that ability for the NHL and top level international games. And I say that as a ref who knows that my limiting factor to my refereeing career is my skating ability.

Ah, so that's what the Unsportsmanlike penalty to Canada was for. Good job, Ref!
Yup, very cool to see what actually happened as I don't think it showed on broadcast. Ref cams are a great idea 👍
Hey whoever thought of this idea needs a massive raise amazing idea and super intriguing and fun to watch hockey from the POV of an official! 😎👌🏻👍🏻
I always think its cool how refs at this level of hockey are able to stay ahead of the play, seeing the camera POV shows how they are able to do it
This is what I’ve been waiting, for. I saw the refs with Cam’s last game.

NHL should learn from this
They'd never do this for the NHL. The refs are protected more than their star players
@@SavouryLobster They've done ref cams a lot in the past
ref cams are awesome, wish nhl would use it
